The dress fit perfectly in all the right places. Wish I could have worn it again and again. 

This dress was a winner. I got a lot of compliments and felt like a queen. The dress is lined, flows nicely and is very comfortable. Shows too much cleavage so I popped on a rust colored shell. Tight in the waist so I wore a waist trainer. The small buttons are beautiful but they popped open in the chest and mid section. Used safety pins to keep the top closed. A hidden zipper with faux buttons for style would be great. Overall, with my minor temporary alterations the dress was a winner. 

I previously rented the same style in a different color & found the buttons kept pulling open at the chest so rented up one size from my usual and it fit perfectly. The fabric and pattern is even better IRL. It's super long on me so had to wear 5" heels - which I do regularly so not a problem. 

This looked nice. I wore it for work but it could easily be dressed up for a fancy dinner. 

I'm 5 months pregnant so I went up a size and it fit well! I wore it for a nice date night with my husband 

I'm glad I went with the 6 and it was still tight in the waist and since it's silk the small buttons easily came undone when sitting. Thankfully the front tie masked that. It was a little big in the bust for me so I wore a cami underneath. It's very thin and overall comfortable. It's long so in me it went to the floor with heels. 

This dress is beautiful BUT I'll size up and make sure I'm wearing higher heels when I rent this again. I'm in between sizes 8 and 10 but only 10 was available so I had my work cut out for me. That said, if you're conscious of your belly area like me, size one more up. This is tight around the midsection but a little loose around the chest. It looks fine in this picture but in person, it's not flattering on me. I'm 5'4" and wore 2" heels in this photo and the dress still dragged a smidgen.

Im always excited when a brand offers a size 16 but I find that Nicholas is often small in the bust. I couldn't get this dress to stay buttoned up past my waist. A true bummer as the print is gorgeous. Wrists also felt a little tight for a 16. Disappointing and couldn't wear. 

Much lighter weight than I expected. Comfortable, and nice material. The wrap in the middle allows for a nice tailored fit.

I wore it to the TED Conference. Beautiful flow and silhouette. It shows a lot of cleavage, so you might want to wear a camisole. 

I loved this maxi. It flowed well and draped my curves in a pleasing way. I read reviews about buttons popping open, so I sized up and glad I did. I think this dress runs a bit on the smaller side, so the 14 fit me just right. I usually wear a 12. 38D chest, 180 lbs, 5'7" tall. 

Slightly unforgiving fit about the waist, but an absolutely beautiful dress.

It fit so well and the design is beautiful BUT, 3 buttons popped off and I had to re-button at least one of the buttons every 15 minutes throughout the day.

This dress is gorgeous!  The material is soft and luxurious.  I am usually a true dress size 8, maybe 10.  This one in 8 was too small around the belly, couldn't even button at all!  I do have a thick rib cage area but this was like 2 sizes too small. Would try a larger size then afraid chest and shoulders be too big. Length seems long too.  Too bad, it was sad to return unworn. 

This was maybe better for an hourglass shape. Maybe in a size bigger it would have worked, but then I'm pretty sure the bust would be too big. Beautiful dress, for a different shape.

Rented as an 8, then 10, then 12!  Success.  8 would have fit except for chest.



A few times I've found people have seen garments to fit them. Not sure if this is the case with this dress. I sized up with this and I couldn't button this at the bodice- off a few inches! My waist down fit perfectly. This is a beautiful dress, sizing is weird or like I said, tailored. I wish people wouldn't see things they rent to custom fit themselves. 

I wear a 4 but sized up to the eight to be safe. Runs EXTREMELY small and I couldn't wear it to the wedding as planned. 

I read the reviews and ordered a size up but the dress was still too tight on the rib cage and it pulled at the buttons. Pretty dress but weird design.

Such a pretty dress, but runs small (I'm glad I sized up from my regular size, based on others' reviews). Also, the buttons come undone so easily! Made it difficult to wear, which was a bummer, because it's very fun to wear otherwise. 

I rented this dress for a winter bridal shower. I did not end up wearing to the shower, however, i did wear to work. It is a very low-cut dress, so you may have to wear a cami underneath depending on your style and event. It was floor length and i wore 3" heeled boots so the length hit around my ankles.  A bit too long and too "plungy" to wear/rent again. 

This dress was a nice material but the fit was really tight at the waist which made it ride up and gape at the top. Also too low cut for the office; so I ended up not wearing it. 

I love the fabric; however, that's where my praise ends.  The top is a bit large and incredibly low.   I'm 5'4 and the dress is far too long.   Also, the abdomen area just fit awkwardly.  I was not able to wear this dress.  

I wanted to like this dress, but could not make it work in either of the two sizes. Unfortunate fit. 

The quality and print on this dress is gorgeous but it runs small (esp for larger chested women) and the buttons are loose and will not stay closed 

Ugh! The pattern of this dress is cute BUT I couldn't even remotely get it buttoned over my ribcage and chest. The "gap" was INCHES WIDE! I'm usually a 4 or sometimes a 6, but this 6 was so tiny in the ribcage that I couldn't even button it, let alone look good or feel comfortable. I'm not sure if it was defective or if all of them are like this, but I would estimate it was at least 3 sizes too small.  Its ridiculous! There's no universe in which a 5'6", 135 pound woman should be a size 12! But I'm guessing that in order for this to fit, that is the size I would have to order.  Good luck! 

I wish that I'd read the description before renting this because it didn't fit in the rib cage at all. 

HORRIBLE!!!!! Sections of buttons kept coming undone leaving large gaps exposing my stomach, chest and crotch. Had to leave work to by something to change into.

Very small in the bust, not proportional to size. I was unable to wear this. Cute print and nice fabric, what a bummer.

While the dress is pretty, the buttons are poorly made and are constantly coming open. I wore this to work and it was so bad I went home at lunch and changed 

This was a little tight in my midsection and I wear a 36D bra size and the buttons would not stay buttoned they would pop open with a breeze. I was unable to wear the dress

The waiste runs really small which was a little problematic. Even when I sized up it just made it bigger everywhere else.  I had to wear it opened at the top with a cami under but was frustrated by buttons opening throughout the day.  Sad because I really loved it and would have purchased it if it wasnt so hard to wear
