I received XXS and M.. Huge range in size but from the reviews, knew it has stretch and Small was not available. I believe If small was available, I may have chose to wore that one instead of the Medium. Fits like a glove and through out the night does stretch out. I wore it out on Valentine's day at a nice restaurant and the dress was so intimidating (or I was just not as confident as I thought I could be in it) I pretty much kept it covered under a white trench coat... the only time I actually "showed off" the dress was when I was putting it on and sitting down at the dinner table. 1st time wearing a Herve Leger and definitely will not be a last. I do recommend if you want to turn some heads and be noticed.

I actually rented this specifically for my mother-in-law's funeral. It was perfect, classy, and statement worthy. Now that may sound horrible, but considering the circumstances and events prior to, at that current time, and still going on now... it was worth it and most definitely needed. I rented 6 with my 10. The 6 would have felt wonderfully if I would have been able to zip the last inch up (chest was snug but not exposed). The 10 was slightly baggy but not to the point that it felt like a sack...it didn't gap to bad but the tulle for the "sleeves" were a little...confining, especially when you were hugging people. That would be my only beef about the dress- the sleeves. It was comfortable enough to be able to jump on a trampoline with my 7 year old right before the wake. I received A LOT of compliments and I felt very confident in it. A good "go to" little black dress for any occasion, I believe.

I ordered size 10L and 12L. I am 5'9 @ 166lbs and the 10L was sufficient (though I believe 8L would have been exactly right). I wore 5 inch heels with 1 inch platform with this dress and the length was still perfect. When walking the toe of the shoe was seen but when standing still the length of the dress just barely grazed the floor. The material is stretchy (a little heavy on the top) but hugged your body perfectly that no re-adjustments throughout the night were ever needed. There is a slight train to this dress and I had to lift/carry the back most of the night to ensure no one (especially me stepped on it- my even was VERY crowded). Dress provides enough "bling" to allow you to keep jewelry/accessories to minimum. If you wear this dress, everything else about you should be "simple" as this will balance the whole ensemble of you and the dress, PERFECTLY. I received A LOT, and I mean A LOT of compliments (by men and women). My BFF (also in the pic) advised that those that did not verbally acknowledge the dress, did it with the "looks and stares" when I walked by :). I highly recommend this dress for special events; you will not be disappointed. But do be prepared to be noticed.
