I really loved this dress. I wore it for a night out in South Beach. I was nervous about renting an xxs as I would usually wear an xs but it was the only size available. Because of the stretchy material, it ended up being a perfect fit! The color is a deeper red than what is pictured on the model in the photo. 

I wore a VS strapless bra and it was low enough to not show

Thanks! I didn't alter the dress in any way (although it might have ridden up a little). The dress was definitely not too long on me, and I'm 5'4 

This is a really tight dress, but it looks super flattering and slimming on. 

It is absolutely perfect for a night out. I definitely did not want to return this one! 

The dress is amazing and for me it ran true to size. My only problem was finding a bra that worked with it, if only because I wanted my boobs to sit up a bit higher, other than that it was an awesome dress to wear. You definitely feel all eyes on you when you walk into a room!

Order a smaller size than you think because acutally the tighter this dress fits the better it looks.  I am a size 6 athletic build and wore a medium because that is all there was to choose from but could have definitley used a small.  
The fabric is super thick and holds all of your body parts tight and smooth and is not see through at all.  The red that shows up in the RTR photo is much brighter than in person.  The color in my photo is much more true and I was glad it wasn't such a cherry red.  I received many compliments during the night and would definitely order this type of dress again.  It is classy and sexy - LOVE!!!!

True to size fit. I ended up not wearing a bra and had perfect support.  I wore this dress in vegas to dinner and then on to a club.  At 4 am it was still going strong. I did notice in pictures teen of me the next day, the dress inched up a little if I was walking a lot, but I seemed to be the only one that noticed.

Everybody complimented me that night. It didn't stretch like other people said about Herve Ledger dresses. Also the color is basically the color in my picture. I felt great in that dress and all eyes were on me. 

This dress is a true jaw dropper, extremely fitted, a beautiful colour, and definitely short (surprising i know), it turns heads! I love herve leger and this dress is a great example of what a designer is all about!

I'm in love with this dress. The color is a little more muted then the picture but I think it worked better for my skin tone. The fit was amazing! Some of the reviews of other herve leger dresses talk about how the material stretches through the night. I didn't have a problem with that at all. The dress hugged all the right areas and pushed up your assets the way you always want a dress to. 

Hi Katie, Thank you!! I think on me the back went just a bit low for a strapless bra... But if you had one that went very low it would be no problem at all.

Ravishing. What are your dimensions for the XXS, as I wasn't able to order an XS as a backup size.

I rented this for my sorority's spring date party... I was a little nervous about the XXS but it ended up fitting perfectly! I wore a sticky bra to add a little boost, but that wasn't necessary (you can have bigger or smaller boobs and it'll still look great... loved EVERYTHING about it! 

It was a good length - came to about 3 inches above my knee (but I fashion taped it a bit shorter!!!!)

The red is a bit more muted/darker than in the picture, but I liked it even better!

The dress was beautiful except for the top part of it. The straps and chest area were a bit big but no too big where anyone noticed. 

Wore this for my birthday and I felt great in it. However, the dress was not in the best condition. It was stretched out along the straps and upper back and there were some signs of wear. It is a rental, though and these things were pretty minor. The dress was not as bright as pictured, but it was still noticeably red. It hit at a good length, a few inches above the knee. I could see it being very short on some people. I really felt beautiful in this dress but it doesn't suck you in like some people said and it did stretch out somewhat though it wasn't noticeable. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to look and feel awesome and is comfortable going braless. If you have any imperfections, this dress does highlight them. It is not to be worn by the faint of heart!

It runs a little bit large in the bust. Maybe I should try a size 4 next time, but not sure due to the length. Since RTR allows us to pick 2 dress sizes to try out, I will definitely do that next time. I loved the overall service provided by RTR and I can't wait for my next rent :-)

This dress arrived with the top looking all stretched out and unwearable. I called Rent the Runway twice about getting the dress possibly replaced, but I was on hold for 20 min each time and finally gave up. I ended up being forced to wear the dress because I didn't have anything else appropriate and I couldn't get through to customer service. There was a lot of fashion tape involved to make the top look less stretched out than it was (you can barely tell in the photo, but if you look closely, you'll see the sides of the dress are baggy and not clinging to the body). I wore the tightest and most full-coverage Spanx on the market, and I still felt like i looked a little thick in the tummy because, well, that's how Herve Leger  dresses are (they leave little to the imagination--so, if you think you have *any* problem areas, don't think this "hides" anything). I felt uncomfortable for most of the night because I felt like my fashion tape was going to bust at any moment. But despite how uncomfortable I was, nobody seemed to notice because they were all staring at my chest (yes, that's another thing about Herve dresses). So, in the end, I got some good photos out of it. I only want to say that I feel like these dresses wear out a lot sooner than other dresses do, so RTR should consider retiring them after they are worn a certain number of times because it's very disappointing to receive a dress that looks so extremely used.

This dress was a game-changer!  The picture does not do any justice to the color. This dress is a beautiful ruby red.  Not too orange not too blue.  My jaw dropped when I pulled this dress out.  Perfect fit!  The neckline is not too low.  This dress commands the room!

I received XXS and M.. Huge range in size but from the reviews, knew it has stretch and Small was not available. I believe If small was available, I may have chose to wore that one instead of the Medium. Fits like a glove and through out the night does stretch out. I wore it out on Valentine's day at a nice restaurant and the dress was so intimidating (or I was just not as confident as I thought I could be in it) I pretty much kept it covered under a white trench coat... the only time I actually "showed off" the dress was when I was putting it on and sitting down at the dinner table.  1st time wearing a Herve Leger and definitely will not be a last. I do recommend if you want to turn some heads and be noticed.

I wore this dress for a sorority fall formal, and it was a hit. The color is a perfect dark red. I got a lot of compliments on the dress, and since it is extremely form-fitting, the dress looked great on me! I did shorten the hem using double-sided tape, since the dress was a little long for my height. However, it looked great and held throughout the night. My date (and now boyfriend!) loved the dress and keeps asking me to wear it again. 

I wore the dress for a Christmas party and it was perfect!!! I got so many compliments...the color is slightly darker than the picture, but I think I like it better. I usually wear a size 6 and the medium fit perfect...Thank you 

wore it with nude pumps, and everything was perfect! I was concerned about it being a bi too short, but  it was just right. the front/back was a bit too low to wear a sticky bra with so go with a nubra or nothing at all!

This dress optimized my Vegas trip.  Honestly it was smoking hot, I got ridiculous amounts of attention.  It fit like a freakin glove

it was a bit stretched out in the hips and the bust area kept falling down but otherwise it was amazing. The is gorgeous cranberry color . 

Luv this dress wore it to a masquerade party, the only bad thing is that it stretches out after a couple hours of wearing it so definitely go down a size, I felt like the breast area was super loose n felt a bit uncomfortable but great dress overall, get a smaller size!!!

The dress is a much darker red than the picture (more like a wine-red than a bright red), and the straps have been stretched out over time.  In the end, I wore a different dress, but this is a nice dress if you are a bit taller than me  (i'm 5'2") so that the stretched out straps are still an ok length.

It wasn't particularly flattering on me or a friend who tried it on who has an amazing body. I may have gotten an older dress but the one that I received was not the pure red that I expected, it was closer to a crimson. It was not as low cut as I would have liked it to be and the neckline was not flattering to either me or my friend who has natural 34d breasts. I wouldn't rent it again, but it is still Herve so if you like the color and the cut, I would recommend renting it.

The dress arrived on time as usual, but it was too small and I didn't order a second size.
