Buttons pull, so if you have a bigger chest, size up.  The skirt is full anyway so it won’t matter.  

Such a perfect fit! The bottom was flowy, and the waist hugged my figure without being tight. I actually wore this multiple times because I loved it so much. Perfect for the office and got so many compliments!

Super flattering drop waist but thin material- not warm! I’m usually an 8 but I wore a 10. I don’t think the 8 would have fit in the bust

There was something nostalgic about this dress - it felt like something one of my elementary teachers would have worn in the 90s. I think it would have felt more modern if it were a tad shorter, or maybe if I had sized down. As it was, I found it hard to style without a belt or vest.

I wore it here with both- the vest is Ralph Lauren on RTR. It helped create some shape to make it more flattering on my petite frame. Overall, it was interesting but felt overworn and oversized. I’m typically a 2 in Ulla and even the 0 was large. 

I do think it would be a good dress for a multitude of costumes- from the ghost family in Beetlejuice, to Ann of Green Gables. 

Loved the print on this, but the dress was tight across the chest and loose in the waist. Might be a me issue, but ended up wearing regardless because it’s such a perfect fall workwear item. 

I am typically a true size 8 but had to size down due to 8 not being available to rent and it still fit great! The only concern was some of the buttons were gaping in the front, but that is probably due to needing a larger size. The fabric is thin but comfortable and I received many compliments! 

When the office is ready to become your runway, you add special pieces like this one to your rotation. Got so many compliments from clients and random people at the street.

Based on reviews, I thought i needed to size up, but I should’ve stuck to the size 2 as usual. The dress is kind of bland. 

Wore this for my husband’s debut of his jewelry brand at Paris Fashion Week. It was perfect with his brown suit and looked great walking through the city. Highly recommend!

I wore this way more than expected. Not sexy but not completely dowdy. Made my waist look snatched. Autumn colors.

I like Paisley bc it's nostalgic just be prepared to carry out the look bc it's a bit boxy in the sleeves but nothing edgy hair can't outshine 

I love Ulla Johnson, but it this silhouette felt a bit too dated for me.  Usually I get a modern sculptural vibe from the brand, but not quite with this one.  The fabric is very comfortable though!  

Comfortable and beautiful and have pockets

Ran a bit big, especially through the waist for hourglass builds. Since it has such a dramatic Victorian style waist you can't do much about it. Also for those like me with curvier lower halves, the pleats on my butt were hilariously unflattering. Fabric is light- more a fall dress than winter. It was a fun rental to try but wouldn't rent again

Keep in mind, the material is thin and does require a full slip

I love Ulla but this didn't really do it for me. It was a little too long and just ended up looking like a little house on the prairie dress for me 

I didn't think dropwaist looked good on me but I got so many compliments. One concern was the buttons around my chest buldged a little. I maybe could've sized up but idk

I found the cheat a bit snug and it gapped a bit. I put a sweater over it, and it worked. It was a comfortable dress to wear to work and the print was great for the fall. 

Fits nicely but it's a drop waist so i added a belt which helped the shape of the dress. Looked great with brown boots. 

I had to scrunch some of the fabric in the back and tie it with a hair tie for a more fitted look. I feel like this runs a bit big compared to most Ulla Johnson pieces. 

The colors are perfect for fall and I enjoyed the comfort and practicality. Gotta love pockets!
