Loved this dress!! Comfy cute and totally easy to wear!
I didn't originally select this dress -- it was a replacement for a dress that didn't ship to me. I fell in love with it though! It was incredibly chic and comfortable. I got compliments all night. It lays and flows very well. I did have to fashion tape the v neck so not too much was exposed. It also runs large -- I could have sized down even another size. Would love to own it!
This style runs very large! I'm usually a 6 but wore a 2 in this and probably could have worn a 0. As you can see the dress is very roomy - I look like I'm expecting in this photo but it's just the angle. You can't wear a bra with this because of the cut outs in the back and pasties show so if you aren't ok being braless this style isn't for you. Overall I still loved this dress it was very forgiving and I got lots of compliments.
The dress has a loose fit to begin with. I sized up because I'm pregnant and have not been fitting in size 4 dresses. I recommend sizing down or staying with your current size if you want a loose fit. The dress was still a great success for our baby announcement and so vibrant. The back cut outs are subtle and the add a little edge to an overall classic silhouette.
This was a really cute dress, but I unfortunately couldn't wear it- I am definitely not a zero (I normally wear a 2 or a 4) and it was very long on me in addition to being too loose. Make sure you size way down
I really loved this dress but there were a few problems. First of all it runs really large so seriously size down - I wear a 10 and the 6 was still oversized! I liked the look but if I had gone with my normal size it would have been huge. The second thing is that it really does look like. Graduation gown. The color and shape is beautiful, but once someone says something about graduation you can't unsee it haha. I leaned into and got a TON of compliments but if you don't get the right size then it will look like you're getting a degree. Which isn't a bad thing! Just something to think about.
The color and feel of this fabric are wonderful. I definitely recommend belting and I sized down 1 size because I'm 6 months pregnant but I could have gone down even another! Wore a camisole under it for work but may try it without for date night! Also disregard my annoyed face in the picture... it always happens when my husband is taking pictures.
Flows nicely - easy to throw on for a summer party. Loved the kimono look and the color is great on blondes!!
I love the color of this dress, and believe I would love the cut had I sized down more. I ended up pinning it below the breast just to have it not look like monk robes! I read the reviews that said to size down, and thought going two sizes down would be enough. I'm usually a 16/14. I would definitely rent again, but in an 8!
The colour and design of the dress is beautiful, however it runs LARGE. This looked more like I was wearing a tent, nothing like the fit on the model. I would be interested in renting this dress again, but in a size zero. Size down!
The dress is much bigger than it appears in the picture. This wouldn't be a problem but the length on me (I'm 5'6") was past my knees. It made it look comical and like a tent (but not like a fashionable tent dress). I added a belt which saved the look, but it wasn't the look I was going for (since my belt looks like it's from the 80s). The color was stunning. Saturated and bold. The back was gorgeous. But the front was not working.
I wish they'd let me upload more than one picture so I could show this "dress" from multiple angles. I was so excited when I found it and just knew it'd be the perfect maternity dress...buuuut it turned out to be a fancier version of a graduation gown or choir robe. I can't imagine anyone not being disappointed with this choice. I returned it unworn. The only positive is that it had plenty of space for my pregnancy belly!
Oh boy I should have read the reviews- this is awful and looks like a graduation robe on. Pictured on my bf for reference. Maybe it would be ok if it was a little shorter but uhhhhhhh yeah this was ridiculous.
This size 0 runs really big on me and looks like a fancier graduation gown.
Fits very large, but I'm currently not feeling my body type so I enjoyed the extra material
Runs very big
Runs very large. I maybe would have gone up to a 10 if it was available at the RTR location I was at. It was perfect for my party on a sunny rooftop. I liked the cut outs on the side and wore a bralette because the slit goes down the back. Overall I'd recommend but just size down!
This is such a fun dress with a vibrant color! I wore it with a belt the first time to give me a little more shape then the second time I wore it without a belt and loved them both equally!
It's large so I would size down but the front is a deep v so it shows the bubbies.
Vibrant color, super flowy and fun! The color of this dress is seriously incredible and made me feel like a work of art. Though this dress has no stretch, it is oversized so I would recommend sizing down for a more structured look, or pairing with a cute belt to cinch your waist. There is comfortable room in the bust, however you do need to wear a nubra or no bra with this, as there are edgy cutouts on the sides and back. I had more than enough room at the hips, waist, and arms and this fabric is so light and flowy, I could just picture walking near the seaside and taking this piece on vacation with me! At 5'6", this hit at just above the knees for me, and I would pair this with a chunky statement necklace and wedges for a more casual, summer-y look.
Please size down- Beautiful dress but too thin for cool weather
I rented this for a weekend girls brunch the dress is meant to be flowy but I felt like I was swimming in it. I am returning with out wearing but would rent again in a smaller size
I wore this at 24 weeks pregnant and thought it was really cute. I'm not sure how much I would like wearing it without a bump, however. I typically wear a 6/8 with most designer clothes. I rented a 4 and could have worn a 2 even pregnant. I did like the back and it was travel friendly, barely wrinkled, but beware the oversizing to the extreme.
Loved this dress and definitely want to rent it in a smaller size...runs very big. Normally wear a 14 and will probably try a 10.
Beautiful color and material. Runs large.
Too big - giant big - waaayyyy to large
I wanted to wear this dress so badly but it was just too big and unflattering. It looked and felt like a sleep shirt. I think I would try this one again 2-3 sizes smaller than usual and wear it on a beach vacation.
It's too big. Will try one size down. Never wore it.
This dress does run a bit large definitely go down a size. The dress ended up looking like I was in a child's choir robe which was perfect for the impromptu tent revival I planned for my coworkers. Great option for days when you just need a little more space in your clothes. Sometimes all we need from a dress is forgiveness.
Size down by 3! Usually a 10, rented a 6, could easily have gone down one more. . .maybe 2. Due to the cool back vents, wore a sticky bra to keep the girls in place. Lovely color. Fun to accessorize. POCKETS! Rent the smallest size available and enjoy!
RUns very large however my boyfriend loved it so there we go!
The color is gorgeous but the style isn't the most flattering--it tends to be tent-like and I wish I had ordered two full sizes smaller. My back always loves an opportunity to make an appearance and the back of the dress is interesting, but I'm not re-renting it smaller.
TOO LARGE! -- Was not aware that there were open sides. Order 2 sizes down from your normal size.
Runs large, the material is great
I wore a tank underneath because the back is slit and you could see boobs if not. I lived the color but would never purchase this dress. It's not very flattering but comfortable.
cut outs were a little too much
The blue is spectacular but the shape bellows. For an already curve woman, it's too much. Not flattering.
I typically wear a 14 dress so I ordered a size 12 and it was still way too big. It was a great color though!
Sized down 2 sizes and just too big. Also wasn’t expecting open armpits. Would have been cute if not so big!
