I loved this dress, but it runs VERY small. RTR had a snafu and did not end up having my sizes, so sent the one larger (UK 8/US4). I am normally a US 0 so I really wasn't expecting it to work but THANK GOODNESS they didn't have my requested sizes. SIZE UP for sure. That aside, I got so many compliments on this dress, it was so flattering and perfect for the winter fundraiser event I attended. 

This is a very heavy duty material and not suitable for hot weather. It definitely runs small. We ordered a size 2/6 UK and it was super snug to put on. My daughter is 5"4, 96 lbs, 34B

I loved how it fit me. It is on the tighter side but that's what I loved about. It's classy and stylish. The sleeves are so fancy dancy! But I tried not to put my arms down because it looked better with folded arms. 

Loved this dress for my 30th birthday dinner. I received so many compliments. It runs very small. I'm usually a 2 and glad I read the reviews thoroughly and went up a few sizes. The bottom of the dress was a little tight but overall it was fine. Loved the arms on the dress, such a sleek, sexy, beautiful dress. 

True to size if you factor in the UK sizing - I am typically a 0 and wore a UK 4

I'm 5'1" and usually a 0. Ordered a 6! I loved the way it looked. But I didn't have any extra room. 

Ordered the size 6, (normally I'm a US SIZE 2) but it was still too tight to wear for the wedding.  Beautiful dress, very disappointed I didn't get the chance to wear 

I have rent this brand before, size 6 has always worked... this time, I mean, I really couldn't move much. Size up ladies! 

Loved this dress. I rented it to go out, then used it for my vacation birthday outfit and rocked it from day to night. It's very flattering in black with a mock neck and square shoulders. The sleeves bring this beauty to a new level. It's a bit tight around the chest. Glad I listened to the reviews and ordered several sizes up.

I read reviews before renting this dress that it ran very small. I ordered a size 6 and I would order a size 8 if I were to get it again. I'm typically a size 0. It took two of my friends helping me zip it up. Haha! I loved it though although it felt like wearing a corset. Great quality heavy weight fabric and stylish. 

Very flattering. It does run small and the material is very thick - almost wetsuit like, but it was perfect for a November event. The material hides any lines so I was able to wear a normal bra. 

Wore this to a Hollywood event where most people are styled by professionals - everyone kept asking me who my stylist was! This dress is so so tight, but once it's on... nothing moves! Really flattering.

I rented this dress for my birthday which also fell on the same day as my mother-in-law's Retirement Party.

I felt absolutely gorgeous! I was also 2
months pregnant at the time so I wore the bigger size. The fit is tight so size up! If you want something stylish but classy with a trendy twist, this will definitely be a great selection. 

I would highly recommend this dress! Definitely among one of my favorite rentals! I love RTR!

This dress truly runs small. I wear a size 4 and I ordered a size 8 based on reviews. There was no room for ANYTHING else after I got it on. You couldnt pinch a inch anywhere including the neckpart. The material is thick and well made. (No need for shapewear/I didnt wear a bra) The zipper was hard to pull up.  If I was to order again, I would get 10 just to breathe.  Its a fabulous dress and I highly recommend it. Just size accordingly.  I am 5'4 and 140 lbs. 

The reason the fit runs so small is because the sizes are UK so you're actually getting 2 sizes smaller than what you order! I normally wear a 10 but got this dress in a size 12 which is US size 8. It worked out but the right size would have been better. This dress is a stunner and was super snazzy yet comfortable to wear. The ease of returning the rentals is nice too...thanks RTR!!

Lovely dress, made with great quality, thick material. Definitely meant for an occasion where there would be cooler temps, which I wore it to a MN winter wedding (inside), but it was still cold inside just because of the season. The fit is fantastic, make sure to size up 1 or 2 sizes because like what most reviewers say, it runs SMALL. I ordered the US size 0, what I nornally wear, and I couldnt even get it over my hips, so I wore the next size up, US size 2. If you're on the fence like I was, I would highly recommend this dress if you're looking for a dress that is sleek, comfortable and different!  Show stopper for sure!  

What a fabulous dress.  True to size.  Fit like a glove.  The material was on point for a cold evening.  I'm absolutely in love with it. 

This dress runs small! Renter beware!! I am 5'1, 110 and the 4 was tough (and tight) to get into. Other than that, this is my favorite dress available on RTR!! This dress is conservative yet sexy. The high neck to me made me look glamorous. Will rent again and again

Wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner. It is a beautiful dress and I got a lot of compliments but beware! It runs very small and can be very short (if you are tall like me). I had to wear the size 8 but normally wear a size 2. I am 5'9" and felt the dress was almost too short to wear but I wore it anyway.

I rented this  dress for a rehearsal dinner on December 30th in Boston, MA -- and it just so happened to be during the coldest week of the year! The material of this dress is thick and super forgiving; it hugs in all the right places and smoothes out problem areas. 

I went with the UK size 12 because the 10 was tough to get over my butt (I’m small on top, thick on bottom) and I just wasn't in the mood to squeeze, I wanted to be comfortable. I’m typically a 2/4 on top and a 4/6 on bottom. I probably could have done the  UK size 10 on top and 12 on bottom, but obvi thats impossible so I sized up. 

The sleeves are the right amount of drama and warmth for an otherwise classic LBD. Definitely renting again. 

Fits small, I wear 4 and the 8 fit. It is thicker so good for a cold event. Lovely understated drama. I kept the shoes and jewelry simple as the dress is statement enough. 

This dress is beautiful! Classy, elegant, modern, and sassy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was INCREDIBLY SMALL. I usually wear a 0 US in dresses and I could barely squeeze into the 6 UK. Highly recommend ordering a size up and making your backup size 2 sizes up at least!

Form fitting but stretchy.  A statement dress even in New York City.  Understated but serves up plenty of drama. 

Absolutely LOVED this dress. Was a little nervous when I found out my back up size was not available and didn't really like the replacement they sent... but my usual size fit perfect US 8. Received so many compliments. The nice thick material smoothed every imperfection out. Felt so amazing in this dress.

    The Pros: You will LOVE this statement dress. I wish i could keep it. You will be the life of the party. It is thick scuba material and perfect for a holiday/ winter party. 

The Cons: It runs very small. I wore the U.S. size 8/ U.K. Size 12.  My normal size is a U.S. size 8, however, i really needed a 10, but it was not available. I never recieved my back up dresses that i picked out from RTR as well, so i made this dress work despite the fact it was very tight on my hips and thighs. 

This dress is incredible. It's so classy and yet so sexy. A total head turner. I've had so many compliments on it. One complaint is how small it runs. I got a size up from what I normally wear based on reviews (I wear a 0 and got a 0 and a 2) and I had to squeeze into that. Felt like I had a corset on all night. Still worth it though!

Dress was a knockout!! Felt amazingly sexy all night. Would definitely wear again...

I'm so in love with this dress!! It's amazing in person and I got tons of compliments. It does run really small, has no stretch and uses European sizing, so size up more than you think you need to! I'm a size 2/4 normally with a muscular build, and wore a 10 in this dress. I'd recommend getting a backup size just in case.

I wore this to a party and seriously i have never been stopped so many times by people who loved the dress. I was obsessed. I would honestly buy it if it was available anywhere. It's edge, clean, simple and just beautiful. The fabric is very thick. I went with a size larger just because I am tall and I didnt want it go be too tight when I sit down. One of a kind and will totally rent again!

I love the look of this dress. Really modern and sleek while also being sexy! Definitely runs small, I might have even benefitted from ordering two sizes up, as even the backup I wore was pretty snug! Awesome dress though, compliments all night long. 

I rented this as my primary style for a work dinner party. The dramatic sleeves are amazing, period. Unfortunately, the fit was off enough that I couldn't wear it. For reference, I am normally a 0 or 2 in dresses and rented sizes 6 and 8. The 6 was skin tight in the body, but fit fine in the sleeves/shoulders. The 8 was slightly less tight in the body, but way too big in the shoulders. This could have been fun for a non-work event, but it was just a little too short and tight for a professional dinner party. 

Statement LBD! It's a great option for a more conservative look that is extremely chic. The dress runs small as most styles by Solace London do so I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm usually a size 0 but wore a size UK 6 which is equivalent to a US 2. At 5'2 the dress hit me about 2 inches above the knee. The neck comes up pretty high and is perfect during the fall and winter seasons. I think this would look amazing with a high ponytail and statement earrings.

The dress fit perfectly, great for evening events, classy yet sexy! 

Had a tough time returning lost the return slip and had to call 5 times to return- will still rent again! Love the concept!

Dress is a bit short and sleeves a bit long

Runs v. Small but super flattering I normally wear a zero-two, but after reading reviews, I sized up to a four...could have probably even gone up to a six.
