This dress truly runs small. I wear a size 4 and I ordered a size 8 based on reviews. There was no room for ANYTHING else after I got it on. You couldnt pinch a inch anywhere including the neckpart. The material is thick and well made. (No need for shapewear/I didnt wear a bra) The zipper was hard to pull up. If I was to order again, I would get 10 just to breathe. Its a fabulous dress and I highly recommend it. Just size accordingly. I am 5'4 and 140 lbs.

This dress is incredible. It's so classy and yet so sexy. A total head turner. I've had so many compliments on it. One complaint is how small it runs. I got a size up from what I normally wear based on reviews (I wear a 0 and got a 0 and a 2) and I had to squeeze into that. Felt like I had a corset on all night. Still worth it though!

I loved this dress, but it runs VERY small. RTR had a snafu and did not end up having my sizes, so sent the one larger (UK 8/US4). I am normally a US 0 so I really wasn't expecting it to work but THANK GOODNESS they didn't have my requested sizes. SIZE UP for sure. That aside, I got so many compliments on this dress, it was so flattering and perfect for the winter fundraiser event I attended.

This is a very heavy duty material and not suitable for hot weather. It definitely runs small. We ordered a size 2/6 UK and it was super snug to put on. My daughter is 5"4, 96 lbs, 34B

I loved how it fit me. It is on the tighter side but that's what I loved about. It's classy and stylish. The sleeves are so fancy dancy! But I tried not to put my arms down because it looked better with folded arms.

Loved this dress. I rented it to go out, then used it for my vacation birthday outfit and rocked it from day to night. It's very flattering in black with a mock neck and square shoulders. The sleeves bring this beauty to a new level. It's a bit tight around the chest. Glad I listened to the reviews and ordered several sizes up.

Very flattering. It does run small and the material is very thick - almost wetsuit like, but it was perfect for a November event. The material hides any lines so I was able to wear a normal bra.

I rented this dress for my birthday which also fell on the same day as my mother-in-law's Retirement Party. I felt absolutely gorgeous! I was also 2 months pregnant at the time so I wore the bigger size. The fit is tight so size up! If you want something stylish but classy with a trendy twist, this will definitely be a great selection. I would highly recommend this dress! Definitely among one of my favorite rentals! I love RTR!

Lovely dress, made with great quality, thick material. Definitely meant for an occasion where there would be cooler temps, which I wore it to a MN winter wedding (inside), but it was still cold inside just because of the season. The fit is fantastic, make sure to size up 1 or 2 sizes because like what most reviewers say, it runs SMALL. I ordered the US size 0, what I nornally wear, and I couldnt even get it over my hips, so I wore the next size up, US size 2. If you're on the fence like I was, I would highly recommend this dress if you're looking for a dress that is sleek, comfortable and different! Show stopper for sure!

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner on December 30th in Boston, MA -- and it just so happened to be during the coldest week of the year! The material of this dress is thick and super forgiving; it hugs in all the right places and smoothes out problem areas. I went with the UK size 12 because the 10 was tough to get over my butt (I’m small on top, thick on bottom) and I just wasn't in the mood to squeeze, I wanted to be comfortable. I’m typically a 2/4 on top and a 4/6 on bottom. I probably could have done the UK size 10 on top and 12 on bottom, but obvi thats impossible so I sized up. The sleeves are the right amount of drama and warmth for an otherwise classic LBD. Definitely renting again.

Fits small, I wear 4 and the 8 fit. It is thicker so good for a cold event. Lovely understated drama. I kept the shoes and jewelry simple as the dress is statement enough.

I'm so in love with this dress!! It's amazing in person and I got tons of compliments. It does run really small, has no stretch and uses European sizing, so size up more than you think you need to! I'm a size 2/4 normally with a muscular build, and wore a 10 in this dress. I'd recommend getting a backup size just in case.

I wore this to a party and seriously i have never been stopped so many times by people who loved the dress. I was obsessed. I would honestly buy it if it was available anywhere. It's edge, clean, simple and just beautiful. The fabric is very thick. I went with a size larger just because I am tall and I didnt want it go be too tight when I sit down. Statement LBD! It's a great option for a more conservative look that is extremely chic. The dress runs small as most styles by Solace London do so I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm usually a size 0 but wore a size UK 6 which is equivalent to a US 2. At 5'2 the dress hit me about 2 inches above the knee. The neck comes up pretty high and is perfect during the fall and winter seasons. I think this would look amazing with a high ponytail and statement earrings.

This dress is GORGEOUS. Pictures can't do it justice- it is so well made and fits incredibly well! I'm always looking for something cut on the slim side, but I think this dress had enough stretch to it that it would flatter a lot of different body types. It was a great length. I am short so I wouldn't have minded if it was a tiny bit shorter, but it was very classy as far as Length. The material is thick and flattering. The sleeves- the SLEEVES!!!! I loved the drama! I ended up wearing this for an early valentines date (to see a Broadway tour and a nice dinner). My boyfriend really liked it, even bought he was skeptical seeing it on the hanger. The dress is dramatic but understated, trendy but classic, sexy but conservative... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I have unlimited so I am wearing it to a few more events. Loved this dress so much more than I expected to!!!

Wore this to a more casual black tie and it was perfect. Unique from any other dress. Super comfy and a perfect for my body. I am 5'10", size 34C with a 27" waist. Perfect length and fit.

I wore this to a formal dinner at Blackberry Farm and was complemented by every female I interacted with. No kidding. Seriously, I am IN LOVE with this dress. The photos do not do it justice. The fabric is warm and snug in a good way. Wearing this dress made me feel secure and sexy all at once. The body is quite fitted and the sleeves balance that out by being loose. When seated your sleeves fall away and your wrists are exposed so go ahead and rent a bracelet too, I wish I had. I want to buy this one.

 I absolutely love this dress! It was not my first choice but I'm so glad I ordered it. I wear an 8 so I followed the size chart and ordered the 12UK. The dress fits like a glove yet still had some stretch to it. Great quality!!! 

Couldn't think of a better dress to wear to a gay wedding in upstate NY! The material was really thick and sucks you in in all the right places. I got compliments all night, my personal favorite: "you look very Stevie Nicks couture"! I have a fairly long neck and the neck part hit just underneath my chin, so watch out if you have a shorter neck. My only complaint is that the clasp at the top of the dress kept catching on my hair, which really was no big deal. Would rent this again in a heartbeat!

it was very flattering and the material was thick, (a good thick, not frumpy) so it is thick enough for a fall/winter wedding. i got a ton of compliments on this dress and it looked very elegant on. i would recommend to go a size or two up. I'm 5'7" , 126 lbs, size C cup, and i had to get the 8. which i am assuming is a size 6 in US but i usually wear a 2/4.

So glad I ordered 2 sizes. Thought I would be a 6 and ended up being the 8. Dress reminded me of a super chic wet suit...fit and material.
