This dress was so flattering, and hugged in all the right places. The material is beautiful, festive, and on the warmer side, which was great for a winter wedding. I got tons of compliments!

I wore this dress to a winter wedding, and it is stunning. I sit between a 10/12, and the 12 was perfect. I have a large bust and athletic back and it fit just perfectly. I received compliments all night. It looks even prettier in person than pictures. Highly recommend this dress.

True to size for formalwear.  I wear an 8 but in RTR dresses usually a 10.  I asked for the 12 as a backup but too big.

I loved this. At first I was wary of the asymmetry but it was very comfortable and looked great in pictures. The velvet was perfect for a fall wedding. Looks dark pics but is more like an aqua green vs navy in person. Gorgeous color.

I’ve been wanting to try RTR for a while and took the plunge for one of my husband’s work events this week, which was a dinner at an art gallery. The dress was comfortable, even with a strapless bra which was necessary for me. I had ordered a size 12 and size 14 and was able to wear the size 12. 

Great dress. My only complaint is the slip underneath oftentimes hung lower than the dress. I had to keep pulling the velvet down. This happened in both the size 4 and size 6.  I contemplated using double sided tape but figured the fabric may bunch and look worse. 

Nice fabric, structured beautifully, color is definitely more green. Hook and eye seemed a little out of place and the zipper is slow to move over some of the seams, but all in all excellent dress. 

I rented this dress for a formal fall wedding and I loved it. I rented the 12 and the 14 wasn't available so I was nervous, but it did fit me just fine. There is boning and wires inside the bust of the dress so no need for a bra, which is nice. The color is more bluish-green than navy, but it is still a gorgeous color and dress. 

Tight in chest but otherwise fit great. Fun color. 

I’m so upset this would’ve looked perfect for the fall wedding in New England I was attending. Dress fit great when I tried it on (pictured above). The day of the wedding I put it on and while driving to the ceremony the zipper opened from the top to bottom. My entire side was exposed. The zipper was still at the top and I couldn’t get the zipper back down. I had to do an emergency dress switch before the reception back at our hotel. Was barely able to wiggle out of it because the zipper was stuck. Such a shame. Rent with caution. 

If you're looking for a show-stopping dress, this one is a must-see! I usually wear size 8, but I had to size up to get the perfect fit—pro tip: go larger if you're bustier. The leg slit is daring and eye-catching, adding a touch of sexy flair, though a pair of Spanx-style shorts might peek out when sitting. Honestly, the dress does a fantastic job keeping everything in place, and it's incredibly soft and comfy—perfect for dancing the night away. I wore it to a fancy fundraising event and felt confident and stylish the entire evening!

Fits comfortably, a little larger than size. 

I wore this dress as a fall wedding guest and to a rehearsal dinner as a bridesmaid in another wedding. I received so many compliments! It was very comfortable since the material is slightly stretchy. I even gained weight in between the events and the dress was still flattering thanks to the ruching. Not to mention—it packs well, it can work in several seasons, and the color is beautiful. This dress is a winner! 

I decided against wearing this dress after wavering. It just didn't feel very comfortable although looked cute.  The bust area is pretty tight even for smaller chested ladies.

I sized up and this fit perfectly. The velvet is a beautiful color and the style is easy to wear.

Excellent fit and really comfortable! I normally were a size 4 and this was like a glove without being a stuffed sausage or feeling constricted. Highly recommend for your next event. Also I wore this in the dead of winter and felt very comfortable even though it doesn't have sleeves. 

Dress draped beautifully and the color was unexpected. It felt very regal. I wore a bra with this, even thought it had boning, and found it was a bit tight to zip, which is why I wore the 2, not the 4. It didn't feel tight while wearing it, but it was a bit tough to get the zipper up and I am a 34A or even AA. 

Fit was perfect on my relatively big rib cage. 

I am 5'3 and curvy. Let me tell you the color, texture, and how this dress hugs your curves is a plus! I was comfortable and felt beautiful. I usually wear a size 10 but it was too snug. Size 12 was just right. The dress is perfect for petite too, It was not long of a dress. 

Wore this dress for our Christmas dinner and it was very comfortable to wear all night long. Runs true to size. Beautiful color

OMG! This dress is so cute, it’s so comfy and it was perfect for my winter wedding!! Truly fit like a glove. I spent the whole night on the dance floor and got so many compliments 

I always prefer dresses with rousing around the waist for a slimming effect and this did not disappoint. The zipper is on the side near the rib cage which was a little tricky at first but then once on fit fine! 

I wore this for a work holiday party that includes cocktails and dinner. I received a size 2 and 4 and the former fit me like a glove. The upper part of the dress actually has boning so it shapes my torso nicely and I did not have to wear a bra. The velvet was luscious, did not wrinkle (in my bag to work), and falls nicely. I got so many compliments. I do have to note that the description says it's blue, but I find that it's closer to an emerald green.

Since I'm very short, this ended up hitting me at the exact right length to be just above floor length. If you're petite but not *that* petite (so over 5ft) it may hit you awkwardly. The neckline was higher than I expected, but it worked well. 

If you do wear a bra with this dress it will be tight in the bodice, but everywhere else fit perfectly.

Great color and flattering style. Had NO CLUE I was actually wearing it wrong until I left this review and looked at other people in the dress. I suppose the extra arm hole is hard to find? Oops! Think wearing it wrong still looked pretty good. A bit tight underneath the armpits, but otherwise comfortable to wear. Also, the lining underneath wants to poke out at the bottom, so I spent a lot of the night adjusting it. Love the slit on the side, though. 

Sleek, comfortable and elegant dress. Nothing flashy but yet flattering while very modest.
