Excellent fit and really comfortable! I normally were a size 4 and this was like a glove without being a stuffed sausage or feeling constricted. Highly recommend for your next event. Also I wore this in the dead of winter and felt very comfortable even though it doesn't have sleeves.

I am 5'3 and curvy. Let me tell you the color, texture, and how this dress hugs your curves is a plus! I was comfortable and felt beautiful. I usually wear a size 10 but it was too snug. Size 12 was just right. The dress is perfect for petite too, It was not long of a dress.

I wore this for a work holiday party that includes cocktails and dinner. I received a size 2 and 4 and the former fit me like a glove. The upper part of the dress actually has boning so it shapes my torso nicely and I did not have to wear a bra. The velvet was luscious, did not wrinkle (in my bag to work), and falls nicely. I got so many compliments. I do have to note that the description says it's blue, but I find that it's closer to an emerald green.

Size 8 fit perfectly- true to size- I typically am a size 8 unless the cut is narrow in the hips then I have to size up. Comfortable to sit in and perfect length.

True to size for formalwear. I wear an 8 but in RTR dresses usually a 10. I asked for the 12 as a backup but too big.

I’ve been wanting to try RTR for a while and took the plunge for one of my husband’s work events this week, which was a dinner at an art gallery. The dress was comfortable, even with a strapless bra which was necessary for me. I had ordered a size 12 and size 14 and was able to wear the size 12.

Nice fabric, structured beautifully, color is definitely more green. Hook and eye seemed a little out of place and the zipper is slow to move over some of the seams, but all in all excellent dress.

I rented this dress for a formal fall wedding and I loved it. I rented the 12 and the 14 wasn't available so I was nervous, but it did fit me just fine. There is boning and wires inside the bust of the dress so no need for a bra, which is nice. The color is more bluish-green than navy, but it is still a gorgeous color and dress.

Dress draped beautifully and the color was unexpected. It felt very regal. I wore a bra with this, even thought it had boning, and found it was a bit tight to zip, which is why I wore the 2, not the 4. It didn't feel tight while wearing it, but it was a bit tough to get the zipper up and I am a 34A or even AA.

Wore to a formal holiday gala and felt great in it! Loved the velvet for winter.

I always prefer dresses with rousing around the waist for a slimming effect and this did not disappoint. The zipper is on the side near the rib cage which was a little tricky at first but then once on fit fine!

If you do wear a bra with this dress it will be tight in the bodice, but everywhere else fit perfectly.

I loved this dress! I am 3 months postpartum, so I wanted to find a flattering dress that I felt good in. This is the one! The ruching on the side was so flattering and I got compliments all night on the color and velvet texture. The fit was truly just right. I loved it and would definitely wear it again!

This dress worked great for my body shape--it hugged my hips, nipped in at the waist, and wasn't baggy around the bust area (a problem I have with a lot of clothing). It's a beautiful teal shimmery velvet, and travels well without wrinkling! Would definitely rent again.
