Its a little snug in the top.  I'm a 32 DD and it was very snug across the chest.  I loved the shape of the dress.  The bows on the shoulders required fashion tape but all in all a great little dress.

This dress ran true to size for me and made me feel amazing! The only thing that could've made the dress better is pockets! I got so many compliments and truly wish I could've kept the dress! This was my first RTR experience and it couldn't have been better! 

Heavy material but such a flattering dress. Hits all the right spots on the waist and then flares. 

The reviews are definitely right about sizing down. I usually wear a size 2 and ordered the size 2 and size 0. The 2 would have worked but it looks much better a little snug. It was the perfect length and so comfortable!  I would recommend this dress to anyone!! 

I usually wear size 2 for dresses to have room to breathe even though I am typically 0. However, this dress was a little too loose. The fabric is great quality and I received compliments all night- plus I was super comfortable (deal breaker). Loved how it looked, just wish they had the smaller size available when I ordered. That's what I get for ordering 2 days before the wedding though! The customer service is great and they definitely helped my stress of what to wear by expediting my order. 

This dress was adorable and flattering! Definitely runs large. I have a smaller chest but there was definitely a lot of extra room in that area even though I sized down. Love the bows on the shoulders! I wore a black tulle skirt underneath to make the skirt a little more full! Loved it!

I loved this dress! I am 5' and wore a size 0. It was perfect for my engagement photos. It fit true to size. 

I wore this dress to a wedding that wasn't black tie, but was considered to be very formal (dark suit), this dress was perfect for that! After reading reviews I saw that it ran a little bit large and I am usually a 4 but my chest is a little large so I was nervous. I ordered a 2 and a 4 and both fit awesome! The only reason I went with wearing the 2 is because where it cinches in the middle is a little loose (the style of the dress) and I wanted it to be a little more fitted. Overall great dress, got a lot of compliments!

This dress was sweet and perfect for the occasion. I wore it to a very nice dinner in Las Vegas and it was perfectly appropriate.  I usually wear in between a 4-6. Many reviews said the dress ran large- v. Large so I got a 4 and a 6. I am glad I got the sizes I did. Ultimately, I wore the 4 but it was tight in the chest. I have a large upper back/shoulders (swimmer body) and it was tight in the waist and arm holes. If you have a more boxy shape be aware of that.
Otherwise, the length was great, it photographed nicely and I was very happy with the dress

The dress fit perfectly. My 12 is very tall for her age being 5'6 and I was worried about the length but it was just right on her long legs! The bows on the shoulders just added an extra perk to this little black dress! Wish we could add this to her closet!

I hated this dress when I took it out of the box. It is that "swishy" material that's almost like track pants. The 4 was a little loose on me and given the option I probably would have done the 2 so I wore a super padded bra to make it look less baggy. I got tons of compliments and the material looked much better on!


This was a beautiful, classic, tasteful dress, perfect for any formal occasion. Fit was true to size and felt spectacular. Definitely recommend!

I really liked this dress! Big different between the 2 and the 4 in the bust. I felt the poofy-ness maybe wasn't the most flattering style for me, but it was very appropriate for a traditional Catholic wedding. 

The dress fit beautifully (though there was a little extra room in the bust).  The skirt was the perfect length and we loved how much volume it had.  So happy we chose this - my daughter stood out with this simple, classy dress that was totally different than any of her friends wore!

This dress fit me perfectly! Being petite I have problems with the waist hitting me at my natural waist. This dress hit me in all the right places.

The fit was spectacular. I usually wear a 2 and was not disappointed by the sizing! I'm quite short, so length is a huge thing for me. This dress sat just above my knees. The bows on the shoulders really make this dress exquisite. They did not flop around or look awkward at any point of the evening. This is a perfect dress for any night out in which you would like to be just a bit more fancy than usual. 

Comfortable, convertible yet tons of fun! Recommend.

The top was tight fitting to just below my bra line and the fabric does show bumps from underneath so be sure to wear a smooth bra. The material for the Aline flair is stiff so be careful when standing up. That being said I had so much fun wearing this dress! Another RTR success!

By far one of my favorite dresses! The only complaint is that the arm holes were a bit snug. 

The dress was super adorable, super comfy and fit great.  It was so nice to wear a dress (with a normal bra) where I wasn't worried about straps and I wasn't dying to get out of it by the end of the night.  I got lots of compliments and would not hesitate to rent again!

Paired it with a belt since the chest on the size 4 was a little tight with my 34DDDs. The size 6 was a little loose but it worked really nicely with a belt. Material was high quality and very comfortable. I received many compliments. 

This dress runs VERY large. Normally I wear a six or an eight and had to wear the 4 because the six swam on me. The dress was clean and well maintained, but you can tell it has definitely been a popular rental. As always, love rtr and a great experience again!

This dress ran large for me. I'm usually an 8 and ended up in the 6 and could even have gone a size smaller probably. The fabric is fantastic and light with great body. It's not clingy if you're concerned about your midsection. Gorgeous and very comfortable.

Loved this dress. It was perfect for an outdoor cocktail party.  The skirt is a little puffy, which usually would bother me, but in this case it made the dress.  Bows are a nice touch, understated/not too much. 

Perfect fit; would recommend if anything sizing down, especially for women with an hour glass or athletic build. Runs a bit large in the wait. I'm typically a true size 6 (34D" 27" 39") and the four fit like a glove

Top was incredibly snug. Felt more so like I was going to breathe my way out of it. Was also fairly long for my petite height.

This was my first ever dress from RTR and I am thoroughly impressed! The fit was perfect, I am normally a 0 or a 2 and only the 2 was available so I had to take a chance on it and luckily it worked out! The skirt is VERY full for a non-lined dress, but not too full as if it were a tutu. I danced for hours in this dress and had so many compliments on the movement of it! The bows are an adorable touch but they did need to be pressed before I wore them as they kind of popped up a little *too* much. It was hard to have to send this dress back. 

Waist line was actually true to size, although I do believe the chest area of the dress is little bit baggy. However, since it is black it doesn't show much that it is baggy, also since it is a crew/boat neck-cut it gives a very chic clean look. 

This dress is utterly cute. The skirt of the dress is naturally voluminous so it gives very bubbly look. If you are going for the Audrey Hepburn look, this dress is a very affordable to achieve that look. As my first dress from RTR I am very satisfied of this dress. Thus, I would rent it again in the future as well. 

I rented for a friends wedding at the Naval Academy in Annapolis and it fit perfectly! No issues at all, runs true to size. I have rented around 10 dresses for RTR  and the service is just incredible. 

I went by the previous reviews and opted for a smaller size, a 2 and I wish I hadn't. It was way too tight and I was so bummed because it's such a goregous dress. I would absolutely rent it again but in the size 4.

The skirt made the dress really fun. Definitely needed a belt to complete the look. 

The dress had such an odd fit for me. The waist was too high, so the size 2 was too loose, but the zero weirdly snug because it fell at my ribcage, rather than waist.  I have a small chest, so the 0 fit well in the bustline, but as many other commenters have said, the arms were so tight!  I did like the fullness of the skirt, but it was Very short (both in the 0 and 2), so would not have felt comfortable wearing it for dancing.  For a seated dinner date, it was fine.  The bows came a bit unkempt, but a bit of steaming had them in place.  I do not recommend for tall girls, particularly if you have a long torso. 

I originally ordered a 2 and a 4 but should have ordered a 0 and 2. Luckily I made the 2 work although it was a touch big. The dress photographed beautifully and I received a ton of complements!! It is truly the perfect LBD!

I typically wear a 4.  RTR only had a 2 and a 6.  The 2 fit but it was very tight through the chest.  I'm a 34B so this problem is not one I typically run into.  Because of the tightness through the chest, it was uncomfortable under the arms.  I would have loved the dress if it was available in a 4.

Most reviews I read said this dress ran large...I ordered the 0 and the 2 and wore the 2 and I still felt like the top portion was pretty tight. Another note--I'm petite (5'2", 5'3") and the skirt was big and fun, but not overpowering. 

was really excited to rent this dress, but it was a letdown. ended up running a lot bigger than I was expecting. wore a size smaller than i normally wear, but it was still too big. not the most flattering choice for curvy ladies. i definitely felt larger than normal in this dress. not quite the experience i was hoping for! have seen it look great on others, just isn't the dress for me.

I wore this dress to a black tie optional wedding. It was is a beautiful dress and I received many compliments. The fit of the dress was pretty good. It fit well in the chest but a little big around the waist, but with the full skirt you could not tell. I would have liked to try a size down but it was not available when I ordered. Easy fix would be to add a cute belt. Overall I was very happy with this dress and would definitely recommend!
