It had a perfect balance of not being too dressy but getting enough spot light at the same time!

Great for form fitting your curves and the fabric is thick and sturdy which holds you in. :) Would order again!!

I was actually disappointed in the small, which is what I would typically wear. Thank goodness I sized down for the backup - it was much less thick and less fabric that it fit a lot better. Got compliments on it all night, and was stretchy enough where I felt comfortable walking and dancing! 

This was such a fun dress and definitely a crowd favorite at the wedding I went to. It fits fairly snug, so I would probably recommend sizing up to be on the safe side. It did stretch out a bit throughout the night, but not in a way that compromised the fit of the dress. As always, another awesome dress by RTR! 

Fits tight on the hips and bust. I have a smaller bust so no issues there, but my hips were definitely too big for a S. I was thrilled I could still fit into it because the M wasn't available and I was taking a gamble, but with a bodyshaper short, the dress looked fine, just rode up a lot. Loved the skirt rippled hem and loved the length. The fabric is also a pretty texture not clear from the pic.  I'm always looking for a good tall girl fit that doesn't show too much leg. This was it, just size up!

I felt like Audrey Hepburn in this dress! Form fitting and the flare at the bottom gives it some sass. 

This dress was very flattering, super comfortable, and easy to accessorize. It hugs curves in just the right way, and really shows off your shoulders and arms. It looks great in pictures.  I wore it with strappy high heels and the Citrine by the Stones Honey Cuff bracelet and got tons of compliments. 

I ordered both XS and S (typically wear XS). The XS was a little too tight on my bottom half that I didn't feel comfortable even though the length was perfect. The Small was slightly longer than I wanted but the overall fit was very comfortable. The dress is a stretchy material so it's flattering and forgiving in problems areas. I paired it with gorgeous teal earrings and got lots of compliments! I would totally rent this again as well as in white. 

The dress was worn at a Black Tie event. I was a little nervous going with shorter but it was great. Snug all the right areas and has lots of stretch to it so it was comfortable all night. I wear a 0-2 and rented the XS. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a classy black dress!

The dress is very well made. It has great structure. Gorgeous!!! 

I wore this to a wedding in Charleston, SC. The Large was too big and the Medium was pretty snug, but I ended up wearing the Medium because it just looked better. The stretchy fabric was amazing, hiding all of those "problem areas." The length of the dress made me feel tall and lean! I got so many compliments and it made me feel great! Make sure you have someone to help zip you up in the back. It's definitely a two person job. I'd love to add this dress to my own wardrobe!

This dress was perfect for the work party I rented it for. It stood out among the other little black dresses and I got a ton of compliments. It was also incredibly comfortable. The stretchy fabric hugged in all the right places and I didn't feel restricted at all. Would totally get this dress again!

The fit is definitely true to size, and I LOVED this dress! Would definitely recommend it for petite girls who don't want a short skirt but are hesitant to rent a long dress because the length may not be right. The fabric had a ton of give which made it very comfortable, and it really accentuates curves / flatters. Also loved the flaired hem, made it a bit whimsical but still sophisticated. Would love to wear it again!! 

This dress was everything I was looking for. The peplum bottom added the perfect touch to this classic black dress. It is super stretchy and comfortable. Overall loved the look and feel of this dress! 

I wanted to keep it forever!!!  I fell in love with the picture online, and it was even better in person!  It's cute and sexy with a funky flair.  I ordered the size small and medium, and ended up wearing the medium mostly because the ruffle bottom on the small was a little wonky.  I love this dress so much 

This is such a classic, fun, flirty dress! The material was a bit thicker than I was anticipating but it worked well and fit so well! I could wear the small but preferred the medium because it was a bit stretchier! 

Fit is tight and very true to size. At 100lbs and 5,2",  fit perfectly XS and hit a few inches above my ankle. Black tie wedding. Was the perfect dress. 

They only had a medium left when I went to order, otherwise I would have gotten a small. It still fit great because the fabric has a good amount of stretch and it's nice and thick so it's pretty forgiving too! I felt so comfortable in it and I got so many compliments...I wished I didn't have to give it back!

Absolutely loved this dress! The length was great & the ruffle at the bottom was a cute and fun detail! It's really stretchy and comfy! I paired it with the Lizzie Fortunato "Only In Tokayo Necklace" and I received tons of compliments. I will defiantly be renting this in the white version for another occasion! 

 I fit into the small except it was hard to zip up once I to my upper back so I ended up wearing the medium. Luckily, I am tall so the extra length was not a problem for me. However, I could  see someone shorter with a large bust (I'm a 34b) have issues with this dress since the medium was still snug around the bust.

love this dress, the material was great, has some texture to it.  The flounce at the bottom is fun and playful and the fit is GREAT.  It laid a little unevenly over my bum if it wasn't 100% pulled down so i had a little tugging going on all night but the dress was worth it.  Loved it. I did wear full spanx under it but you don't NEED to

This dress was very comfortable but it does run a little small. I normally wear a size 4 and the size Small was a little tight on me. It is very form fitting, which is what I was looking for. This dress showed off curves beautifully. The ruffle bottom is the perfect addition to make this dress stand out.

Runs very tight and snug! As a 34DD it gave me great support and sucked me right in. I wore a body shaper underneath because every panty showed an outline. 

It was very very difficult to zip up. I needed another person to help me in addition to me having to lay down. Thank God I received an alternate size because the original SML zipper popped so I went down a size which was still good.

It's very flattering and if you are busty like me, it will smash your top so be prepared to have a bra that has a great form.

Would advise going up a size on this dress. Wore a small (and I am a size 2/4 in dresses usually) and would have definitely worn the medium if it was available the weekend I wanted. But material is very stretchy, so I was still able to fit into the small -- just think I would have been a bit more comfortable in the medium. Great form fitting dress for someone who is curvy! Fabric is thick so hides flaws. 

Wish I had gotten the S. The XS was too tight on top. I though I could compromise because I wanted the skirt to hug the body. Oh well! Next time.

I liked this dress and wish I could love it but it rode up when walking.  I could have worn xs or s but chose small bc around the arms holes it was larger.  Dressed it up with statement necklace and silver heels for my daughter's senior ball.  Received many compliments and love style but wish it didn't move bc hate yanking down a dress.

I love a great fit & flare dress for a wedding, however this wedding was black tie recommended, in January...in Miami which made me look outside of my comfort zone. This dress did the trick! The length was perfect...formal with some flare. I added a think ribbon black belt for some extra texture. 

Could have worn the M as the material is fairly stretchy but it was a bit snug in the bust so opted for the comfy L. Wore a skinny belt on it to break it up. Overall, super cute. BF and BFF both loved.

Fabulous dress. The lines and curves of this dress make it special. The fabric is thick and stretchy and hugs the curves. The ruffle on the bottom and the texture of the fabric elevate this dress. Truly comfy to wear and received multiple compliments!

I wore this dress to temple for a bat mitzvah service. It was perfect. I received so many compliments.

I wore this dress to a wedding at an art museum in Cleveland. It was a pretty, comfortable dress. You may want to order a bigger size as a back-up if (like me) you're at all self-conscious about your stomach. It's a flattering style, but I think it would be better for a formal business event than a more celebratory function like a wedding. You'll also probably want to find some fun accessories to liven it up.

Beautiful dress, it has a ribbed material that doesn't show on the RTR pic. Has a nice stretch however M still was too restricting for my liking. L would have been more comfortable. This dress would be appropriate for most events. Classic. 

The large fit the best, but the medium could have worked if I preferred a more form fitting silhouette. The dress was super comfortable and flattering. Not too hot for an 85 degree day.

Classic black dress wth a little flair that can be dressed up with accesories for a black tie optional wedding.   This is a great option for shorter people who cannot handle floorlength dresses.  Great fit but does run a bit small for someone who is normally XS but sized up fo S.  Also fabric was a bit thicker than expected.

Wore this dress to a Gala for work - It was the perfect combination of sexy (but appropriate for a work event!) and sleek. Form fitted enough but was comfortable. I am only 5'1 and was worried about the length but it ended up being just right. I got lots of compliments and would love to own this LBD. I would rent definitely this again! 

While I absolutely adored the shape of this dress, I felt the medium was a little tight in my midsection and the large was a little too big. I wound up going with the medium for how it hugged my curves everywhere else, but I would be lying if I said I didn't want a bit more breathing room. The material was VERY thick and though I wore this to an October wedding, we got an unseasonably warm day, so it was a bit warmer than I had hoped. 

This dress was truly my favorite RTR dress to date!  The fabric is ribbed, stretchy and hugged in all the right places.  The material is thick as well which made for a flattering hourglass shape. I would recommend this dress for taller girls, the flared hem hit right below the knee.

I loved this dress! I wore it to an evening, outdoor, fall wedding with Ted strapped heels. I felt like the flamenco bitmoji. 
It was very form fitting. At first, I was unsure if the M was going to work. I'm bw a 6-8 and it was very snug at first. But the fabric is stretchy and it become comfortable throughout the evening. If a L had been available, it prob would have been a slightly better fit. Regardless, it's a forgiving dress due to its stretch so I imagine it would work for a variety of shapes/ sizes. 

This dress is a great LBD with adorable details. It is very stretchy and runs true to size. The zipper was a little difficult to get up, especially over the middle seam, so one would definitely need help with that. The arms were also a little tight under the armpits. Otherwise a fun dress to rent!

This dress is so elegant and versatile. It is form fitting with a peplum style bottom. Fits true to size. I bought spanx to wear underneath but I didn't even end up needing them. Lots of compliments!! This is my first time using RTR and I'm so glad it was a success! Would absolutely rent this dress again.

the dress has a really great silhouette. it's stretchy, ribbed, and quite forgiving. just the perfect amount of sexiness but sophistication. highly recommend.

This dress was a very comfortable material, fit well. Small did fit but the medium was more comfortable. This dress was very flattering and classy! I danced all night, no down sides to this dress in my opinion! 

I wore this dress to a black tie wedding. I felt amazing in it all night! I wore the small and it was quite snug but it was very flattering and comfortable. The armpits were very high so I had some issues with deodorant stains but nothing too bad. One thing- the zipper was extremely difficult to get up..if I didn't have someone to help me I don't know how I would have gotten it up. Overall loved the dress..wish I could keep it and wear it again! 

I rented this for a wedding and it was beautiful. I felt amazing in it all night. I wish I could have worn this dress in a medium but opted to wear my backup size of a Large due to the length. The Large ended up being several inches longer in length than the medium (like a good 5").  I'm fairly tall (5'10"/5'11") and with the ruffle hem, the additional length was necessary, and it hit me in a much better location than the shorter medium. So I opted to wear the Large, even though it felt a bit baggy. The Medium fit amazing and snug and hugged in all the right places but it hit me right at the knee instead of below the knee.  This was my first RTR so it was a good experience - will definitely use them again and would most definitely rent this dress again.

I rented this for an elegant spring wedding, and it was perfect! Very fun, classy and stylish all at once. It's super tight and very flattering, but it does run small so I would definitely recommend ordering up a size. Perfect LBD! 

This was a great dress.  I ordered the medium and the small was my backup.  I am a definite pear shape and often in body-con dresses I wear a medium.  I'm not sure if the medium I got had been recently worn or stretched out, but I was happy to have the small as a backup and ended up choosing the small.  The small fit very snuggly over my back side, but also hugged my middle/top-- the medium fit about the same on the bottom, but was loose and awkward on top.
This dress has a TON of stretch and was super comfortable for dinner, drinks, dancing, etc.  It had a bit of a ribbed material look to it and I needed to wear a razor back bra, but I felt pretty, sexy, and wonderful all night.  If you're looking for a great little black dress that is both conservative and also a little sexy, this is it.
One note is that it's a little tricky to zip, so make sure you've got an extra person handy to help.

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding! So incredibly comfortable. Runs small (I wore the medium)! Such a great and new take on the LBD! Loved it! 

This dress definitely impresses -- I got compliments all night. It's tight, but you can definitely still dance! Only thing was it was a little tight/uncomfortable around the arm area, but perfect other than that. I'd definitely rent again! 

I am currently stuck in a sling so needed a dress that would allow me wear the sling comfortably without snagging - this fit the bill for my very specific needs, but I would wear it again without a sling! The fit ran slightly small - I could have worn the small, but ended up going with the medium because it was slightly more comfortable. It's made of a thick stretchy fabric that holds you in and the fabric has a stripe pattern woven into it - hard to see in the pictures. It also has a seam at the waist, which I could have lived without. Overall, for a $35 rental, I was really happy with it and got lots of compliments. 

The dress was awesome, but had some trouble getting into it. The zipper was very finicky and the dress was tight enough that I didn't have much extra fabric to work with (the small wasn't available). Once I had the dress on I loved it, but getting into it was a struggle! I would get the small if I ordered it again. 

I wore this to my husbands charity boxing tournament and it was a perfect party dress. It got perfectly! Would definitely rent again. 

Fit well and was stretchy and comfortable- easy to dance in and the flare on the bottom added a fun touch.
