This dress fit like a glove and was exceptionally flattering. I felt especially confident in it and got many compliments on it. The back is a see through mesh material, so that's just something to be aware of when planning for undergarments.

This was my first RTR experience and I could not be happier. I wore this dress to a Friday night wedding in mid May. This dress was not only beautiful and classy but super fun and young as well. I felt confident in the dress and received many compliments. I was also able to explain the concept of RTR to people who had never heard of it before. I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes that I ordered and the fit was perfect (even for a girl like me with a bigger booty/hips!). I paired it with gold dangly earrings, a gold bangle, black heels and a black side bag. I will definitely be using RTR in the future. 

I rented this dress for my sister. I usually wear a 2 to 4, the dress is a 6, and it still fit me beautifully. It even has small snaps under the shoulder area to hold in bra-straps.  My sister ended up wearing it (pictured, usual size 6 to 8) and she looked like a million bucks. Very flexible, light-weight fabric that stretches without looking strained. Easy to dance in, great length. Highly recommend. 

The back is semi sheer, so I paired it with a dressy black cardigan for the event.  It fit my hourglass shape perfectly.

I wore it to a wedding this past weekend, and got a ton of compliments. Only issue I had with it is the bottom part of the dress would ride up as I danced/walked. It would fold over the belted area, but I don't think many people could tell. Probably won't rent this same dress again, but it was fun!

I would definitely get this dress again.  I ordered both the 4 & the 6 and to be honest, it was hard to tell them apart in terms of fit.  In the end, I went with the 6 because it was a little longer... and we were going to a work event.

Even though the back is mesh, it's dark and unless you look really hard, it really just looks like regular black fabric making it perfect for a cocktail-dress attire party.  The fabric had a good bit of stretch (probably why the 4 & 6 fit so similar) and was comfortable enough to sit & stand in all night.  I really loved it and wish it was in my closet so I could wear it again.

I wore this dress for my wedding shower. Like another reviewer said, there wasn't a huge difference between the 0 and the 2, but the 2 was a little more forgiving and I felt more comfortable in it. It runs a tad small, but has some stretch. I wore this with a backless bra because even though you can't really see through the back, you could see the outline and texture of a strapless bra. The gold is shimmery and this dress looks much better in person. I felt very comfortable in it and got a ton of compliments. I would definitely rent this one again. It's a dress I'd love to have in my own closet!

I've rented from RTR 5 or 6 times and this was one of my faves. Both the 2 and 4 fit but I found the 4 a bit more comfortable. The fabric was stretchy and the gold was shimmery in person which looked very festive! The upper back part is more of a sheer fabric but not see through, I was able to wear a regular bra but had to pin my straps together as the shoulders of the dress cut in a bit. The waist is basically just a ribbon and is not tight or restricting. The length was also perfect, not short at all. I would definitely rent again!

I got tons of compliments on this dress all night. Perfect for my holiday work party - fell to the knee, and was high enough that cleavage wasn't an issue, but the sparkle, mesh back, and tightness kept it young and fabulous.

I ordered a 0 and a 2, both which fit pretty well. The seam across the waist was very snug with the 0, so I opted to be more comfortable in the 2. The fabric is thick and fits well. It was a bit longer than I would have preferred (almost to my knees), but it gave the dress a nice, conservative look (especially since the rest of the dress was pretty snug and showed off curves). The black and gold color scheme was perfect for a work holiday party. 

This dress didn't look like much to me on the website, but once I got it I fell in love! I was able to wear it to 2 holiday events- once on its own with pumps and once belted with black tights and a cardigan. The fit is snug but super stretchy and comfortable- I could have worn the smaller size but sized up as I was going to a corporate event. The detailing at the waist is very figure flattering and I got a ton of compliments on it! Would definitely rent this one again.

I normally wear a 4 or 6 in Nicole Miller.  I have a small upper body, bigger in the hips.  Height: 5'7" and 138 lbs.  The 6 wasn't available so I just went with the 4 and it was ideal because as many others said, the material is a bit stretchy.   Got compliments all night!  Definitely recommend.  Fun and a bit sexy-sophisticated,  totally work appropriate...

My parents hosted a brunch engagement party over the Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to have a great dress that was not too "dressy", and this one really fit the bill. It is definitely on the conservative side, it fell right above my knee, but for me and this event it was really great, and I toned it down even more with tights and flats. There was some wrinkling of the black belt across the front of the dress as others mentioned, but it was not something I really noticed. I got a lot of compliments. It was a great, fun, comfortable dress.

I wore this to a work function (which is why I wore the black shrug rather than bare shoulders). The dress was very comfortable and it looked great even without Spanx underneath. I received compliments from a few complete strangers! This dress is definitely a keeper and I will be renting it again. 

Fit was true to size. The gold threading is definitely sparkly but I don't think it's too much. I wore to a wedding and felt very comfortable all night and got many compliment! Would definitely recommend!

This is a great party dress -- feels celebratory and makes you feel great. The colors are great in person -- bright but not loud, really fun. The mesh back and stretch to the fabric makes it tight, but really flattering. I have  a curvy bottom and it was very flattering and was true to size.

Fits very well for all my pear shaped friends! Didn't like the look of it as much out of the box, but it looks great on and it photographs really well too. Has the perfect amount of shimmer and sparkle! 

Wore it to a small graduation dinner and party and it flowed well into the evening when we went out for drinks and dancing after. Got compliments all night long. 

I got this dress as my free birthday dress, and I loved it! My fiancee didn't want me to return it! I ordered the 2 and the 0 as my back up size. There wasn't much of a difference between the two and I could have worn either. I chose the 2 because I was wearing it at work. I work as a TV news anchor and I got several compliments from viewers when I wore it on air. 

The in person color is gorgeous. Photos to capture the moderately shimmery look of the dress. I work this to my a formal dinner I attended with my daughter, it's very complementary while remaining "mom" appropriate. I'm 5'7" and the dress fell just a few inches shorter than my knees, which was perfect. It was also very comfortable! 

The fit was true to size. I tried a 2 and a 4. The 2 fit, but was really tight in the rear. The 4 was way more forgiving. I really liked that I could wear a bra with this dress.  The fabric is not a print, but is embroidered with gold metallic thread so that it is very shiny. The "belt" is just a piece of fabric and is not an actual belt. I wore this dress to the governors mansion and thought it was very appropriate. It would also be great for a cocktail party. It happened to be warmer that night, but tights looked good with it when I tried them. 

Back is opaque. very comfortable and pretty.

Great dress! Runs a little bit big in the waist, so I sized down with a 2 and it fit perfectly (I'm normally between a 2 and a 4). Love the print, it's a perfect Holiday dress!

Dress fits true to size and is a flattering cut. I wore it for a benefit dinner and since it was work related it was just the right amount of professional and evening. It did ride up a bit with walking and the neck area was a tad tight but not uncomfortably so. 

Loved this dress. Comfortable to wear. Fabric gives everywhere except the waist. People stopped me on the street and told me I looked great! I felt great in it.  Wish I owned it. I changed bras a few times to get the right fit as the shoulders taper in a bit. But it has the ability to clip your bra strap to the dress so it doesn't show. 

I really enjoyed this dress!! The back is mesh so wearing a bra posed a problem but I didn't worry over it much cause you couldn't really tell. Very comfortable!!

I manage special events for a ballet company, and decided to RTR for a reception following our opening night performance. The 10 fit perfectly, and I got so many compliments on the fit and design! The length was conservative enough for work, and the sheer back was the perfect touch of dressy. It did ride up a bit as I was running around, but no one seemed to notice. I was sad to return it! 

Not for someone 5'0--definitely created for a person with a longer torso. The black band / waist area didn't hit quite right and the size 2 was slightly large. 

All of that being said, it was a high quality, comfortable dress. Much more sparkly in person.

I typically wear size 2, but went with the 4 for the party.  This dress is better for boyish figures.  I have a small waist, but with my hips, the fabric bunched up and made my belly look fat.  The dress is really pretty, fully lined, great lines (shoulders look excellent), appropriate but not dowdy length.  Accessories were easy--big gold cuff, gold vintage purse, ankle strap black sandals and black hose flecked with gold.  

It fit well and was flattering but I didn't know the back was a little sheer. It was fine but I was going to a work event so I'm not sure I would have chose something see though. 

I wore this dress to a wedding where I was the event decorator/coordinator. It was perfect. The slit in the back is high which made me a little self conscious as I was walking. I kept wiggling the dress down. Worked nicely and felt professional!

I didn't realize the dress was gold, in other pictures I thought it was beige or nude. I liked the gold though! I also was unaware the back was sheer. Luckily, I own a nude bra. Wearing nude over black makes it a lot less provocative. Loved the dress and got lots of compliments! 

I loved this dress when I first saw it, but there was only a size 4 (even tho' I'm a six), so I went for it. Granted it was a little tight on my tummy, but overall a really beautiful dress for a dinner party -- the Girls' Lounge Shero Dinner. I wore it with a black bra and black heels, though a racerback or strapless bra would probably work better -- as my straps did sneak out a few times. 

I really loved the black and gold polka dots.  It was just enough glitz and would make this dress perfect for even a NYE cocktail party.  I wore a size 0 because some parts of the dress were a bit big.  The black belt in the middle was tight and cinched the waist enough to create some curves.  However the piece of fabric below the waist was a little larger and would sometimes ride up.  Overall it was easy enough to deal with and I loved the colors!

I rented this dress for my husbands chief pinning. It was perfect for the occasion and complimented his uniform perfectly! I normally wear an 8-10 but the belt part is so tight and fitted I could barely zip up the 10. 

I am giving this dress four stars only because it was a last minute replacement for a dress that was returned damaged and I didn't think it was as perfect for the events theme (Bollywood). That being said, this dress is very comfortable, easy to wear, photographed well and was a great length for me for a more formal affair then just date night or going out with friends. The back is a mesh fabric (but not so see through that you need to worry about not wearing a normal bra) and creates a sexy silhouette from behind. I am smaller on top and curvier on bottom and the 2 also fit, however, the 4 laid much more nicely around my hips and looked just as flattering. The material is thick, so it keeps its shape. It does slightly ride up after sitting/walking, but not a problem when dancing. Also, the girls at RTR were amazing and on the phone with me last minute sending me available dress options and helping me to search for a replacement. Customer service was amazing. Will definitely rent again - the whole process was great despite not getting the original dress I had planned on!

Fit was true but does bunch up a little at the middle.  I have a post-partum waist and the print hides the mommy tummy but I kept having to pull it down  to minimize bunching. Need an extra set of hands to zip it.  I'm 5'7" and length was perfect .  Photographs better than it looks in person. 

The proportions were a little off for my long torso but I loved that it was a little stretchy in the back. The black band and gold fabric around the waist gave me a great silhouette and was very flattering. 

Pros: very slimming, lots of options as far as bras that would work, but actually didn't end up needing one. fun for an evening wedding. lots of compliments.

The dress fit very well and was very flattering. It had just enough stretch to the fabric to be comfortable to wear all day. 

The fit was perfect! I'm a size 6-8 I tried the 6 and it fit, but it was too snug for my taste. I bought a hat to wear to the event, then I could not find a dress that went well with the hat, until I thought to go on RtR! Wonderful decision! 

Fit nicely, had just enough stretch to compliment my body. Back is sheer, so I wore a black bra, and it looked fine. Everyone complimented the dress! I felt gorgeous. 

Form fitting in a good way! Felt comfortable and sophisticated for a company holiday party. Would rent again 

The dress was a great design for a December wedding (cocktail attire) - elegant without being too flashy, an appropriate length, and a stunning pattern that received a lot of compliments in person and photographed well. The upper back is opaque mesh, so while it's still appropriate and doesn't feel too revealing, I recommend wearing a sticky bra. The one down side was that it rode up A LOT, so I had to constantly pull it down, especially if I didn't want fabric rolls in the photo. 

The dress was definitely true to size. It was very comfortable and fit really nice!

I am typically a size four and felt that the dress runs true to size. The dress has a little stretch so it was easy to move around in. There was no give where the black ribbon is and that felt a little tight around my waist. The back is not as sheer as I thought it would be and I was able to wear a black bra with the dress and it looked fine. 

This dress was so comfortable and fit pretty true to size. Although I went with the 8, the 6 would've worked - just depends on how tight of a fit you want. I got tons of compliments on this dress all night! 

The fit is great.  I think it would be very flattering on a range of body types.  The gold tone is really nice and has a high class feel to it.  We were going to a show at a casino and I thought it was perfect for the occasion.

This dress was absolutely stunning in person. I wore it to a benefit for my school and got tons of compliments from the moment I put on the dress. Because of the detail, you don't really need many accessories. I opted for a simple drop pearl earring and patent leather peep toe pumps. Wear with a black bra or backless bra since the mesh is mostly opaque.

I am generally a size 8 in dresses, but even the 10 was more snug than I felt comfortable wearing. I was tugging the dress every time I stood up and by the end of the night couldn't wait to unzip. I wish I would've ordered a 12! Would rent again. Very classic and tasteful.

I rented this for my company's annual awards dinner. It was the perfect mix of sexy/classy while still Ben f work appropriate. Loved this dress!! Super sad I have to send it back!! 

I was a little nervous about this dress after realizing the back was sheer after I rented it but I loved it! I opted for no bra because I didn't like to see my bra straps but you could easily wear one. The fit was great. It did ride up a little as other reviewers said but it didn't bother me. The gold is a lot more sparkly than the pictures show and it was fantastic!

I wore this awesome dress to my couples shower thrown by friends! I wanted to stand out as the bride but not wear white to an evening party. This dress did the trick! I got so many compliments!!! The picture on the model makes it seem like it's just a standard gold but in person, it sparkles! I am normally a size 4 and ordered a 2 for backup. I ended up wearing the 4 because I wanted to be able to breathe! It worked out perfectly actually. I could've gone a size down but there wouldn't be any extra room. The back part is sheer but wearing a nude bra barely shows. I absolutely LOVED this dress.. I felt fabulous :)

I think this dress runs true to size, I lucked out bc they didn't have a back up size, it was a little tight in the pooch area but that is a common issue for me so I wasn't surprised! I threw on a black cardigan bc it was sleeveless but got a ton of compliments, the gold "cutout" illusion is super flattering. Loved it!

Fit very true to size. I normally wear a 4 and the 4 fit perfectly, no need to use the optional size up, but I'm so glad they include one just in case. It was a comfortable dress and I got a lot of compliments from people. The gold metallic sparkles just enough to give it a dressier vibe and the belt is a perfect accent so I didn't feel like I needed to wear a ton of jewelry. 

This dress was a perfect fit for me. It is not forgiving around the waist as there is a ribbon there, but I ordered the correct size so it was fine. It fell just above the knee and stayed put with only a little pulling down for all the dancing I did at the wedding (which was a lot). I got a lot of compliments and the gold was a fun touch! The back is sheer, but if you wear a black bra it will only show in bright lighting. My sister ended up wearing the same dress as well and we both all around loved it!

Unfortunately I did not wear this dress to the event I needed it for.  I normally wear a size 4 and to me this dress was not very flattering.  A size 6 probably would have fit better but it was not available so I ordered what I could get.  The top and bottom portions have stretch to it but the middle black ribbon has absolutely no stretch so when it was zipped up it bunched up around the ribbon band which wasn't how I wanted to look for a party.    

Wore this a holiday party. The fit was perfect. The dress is slightly stretchy so good to move around and sit in. Would definitely rent this one again.

I wore this dress for my husbands surprise birthday party.  I rented the 6 and 8.  The 6 fit, but was snugger than I wanted, so I wore the 8. I am pretty short waisted, and felt the waist a little high.  Otherwise, it was great.  It was really fun and easy to wear.  Its very light weight with a little stretch.  With the gold its great for parties especially around the holiday season.  I got lots of compliments and felt really good in this dress.  I would definitely recommend!  We had such a good time at the party...don't have any good pics of the whole dress!! 

Ran a bit smaller than expected; waist does not have a ton of room. Glad I got the 10!

Fit like a glove ! Not too short. Usually have problems with dresses being tight in the thighs and big in the top but this dress fit perfectly and I felt confident and pretty! I liked the sheer back and gold accents for a fall wedding. 

Wore my usual dress size, but I must admit that the dress had a couple of challenges.  The skirt rode up a bit when I walked and, like other reviewers, it had a tendency to bunch up at the waist.  Having said that, it looked great and I had a ton of complements.

I love this dress. I ordered the 6 (with 4 as a backup) and ended up wearing the 4 since it was a smoother fit. I haven't felt sexy in a dress since I had my kid 15 months ago and this dress helped me feel great. The white accents on the side and waistband are slimming, the dress is comfortable with a forgiving fabric. The lining of the dress did ride up a little bit, but otherwise no complaints!

I waited until the last minute to rent my options for the latest wedding so I wasn't super excited about my limited options. This dress fit WONDERFULLY and I got tons of compliments at the wedding. I had a tiny bit of leftover baby pudge around the belly from my pregnancy and this dress helped draw the eyes away—so pleasantly surprised by this dress! I wore the 4 for comfort dancing, but the main difference seemed to be in the waist, either one could have worked.

This dress was great - really comfortable, flattering, and the sheer in the back is a really nice touch to add a next level of snazz. I loved that you can easily wear a bra with this dress (even has the clips on the straps to hold the bra straps in). 

The small thing I didn't like about it was that it rode up while walking, but that was minor. 

Unfortunately I don't have a full length photo of the dress, but I loved it.

I wore this to a circus themed engagement party, and it was so fun to wear!!! Very stretchy material except the actual waist band. Hit right above the knee, and rode up just a tad when I walked. I am usually a 4 or 6 (and wore the 6), but I think the 8 would have fit the best for my hips. Didn't realize the gold was shiny so that was a major plus when I opened the package! The sheer back was also an added bonus. Overall, awesome dress & great fit. Would highly recommend renting it!!!
