This dress fit like a glove and was exceptionally flattering. I felt especially confident in it and got many compliments on it. The back is a see through mesh material, so that's just something to be aware of when planning for undergarments.

This was my first RTR experience and I could not be happier. I wore this dress to a Friday night wedding in mid May. This dress was not only beautiful and classy but super fun and young as well. I felt confident in the dress and received many compliments. I was also able to explain the concept of RTR to people who had never heard of it before. I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes that I ordered and the fit was perfect (even for a girl like me with a bigger booty/hips!). I paired it with gold dangly earrings, a gold bangle, black heels and a black side bag. I will definitely be using RTR in the future.

I rented this dress for my sister. I usually wear a 2 to 4, the dress is a 6, and it still fit me beautifully. It even has small snaps under the shoulder area to hold in bra-straps. My sister ended up wearing it (pictured, usual size 6 to 8) and she looked like a million bucks. Very flexible, light-weight fabric that stretches without looking strained. Easy to dance in, great length. Highly recommend.

The back is semi sheer, so I paired it with a dressy black cardigan for the event. It fit my hourglass shape perfectly.

I wore it to a wedding this past weekend, and got a ton of compliments. Only issue I had with it is the bottom part of the dress would ride up as I danced/walked. It would fold over the belted area, but I don't think many people could tell. Probably won't rent this same dress again, but it was fun!

I would definitely get this dress again. I ordered both the 4 & the 6 and to be honest, it was hard to tell them apart in terms of fit. In the end, I went with the 6 because it was a little longer... and we were going to a work event. Even though the back is mesh, it's dark and unless you look really hard, it really just looks like regular black fabric making it perfect for a cocktail-dress attire party. The fabric had a good bit of stretch (probably why the 4 & 6 fit so similar) and was comfortable enough to sit & stand in all night. I really loved it and wish it was in my closet so I could wear it again.

I wore this dress for my wedding shower. Like another reviewer said, there wasn't a huge difference between the 0 and the 2, but the 2 was a little more forgiving and I felt more comfortable in it. It runs a tad small, but has some stretch. I wore this with a backless bra because even though you can't really see through the back, you could see the outline and texture of a strapless bra. The gold is shimmery and this dress looks much better in person. I felt very comfortable in it and got a ton of compliments. I would definitely rent this one again. It's a dress I'd love to have in my own closet!

I've rented from RTR 5 or 6 times and this was one of my faves. Both the 2 and 4 fit but I found the 4 a bit more comfortable. The fabric was stretchy and the gold was shimmery in person which looked very festive! The upper back part is more of a sheer fabric but not see through, I was able to wear a regular bra but had to pin my straps together as the shoulders of the dress cut in a bit. The waist is basically just a ribbon and is not tight or restricting. The length was also perfect, not short at all. I would definitely rent again!

I got tons of compliments on this dress all night. Perfect for my holiday work party - fell to the knee, and was high enough that cleavage wasn't an issue, but the sparkle, mesh back, and tightness kept it young and fabulous.

I ordered a 0 and a 2, both which fit pretty well. The seam across the waist was very snug with the 0, so I opted to be more comfortable in the 2. The fabric is thick and fits well. It was a bit longer than I would have preferred (almost to my knees), but it gave the dress a nice, conservative look (especially since the rest of the dress was pretty snug and showed off curves). The black and gold color scheme was perfect for a work holiday party.

This dress didn't look like much to me on the website, but once I got it I fell in love! I was able to wear it to 2 holiday events- once on its own with pumps and once belted with black tights and a cardigan. The fit is snug but super stretchy and comfortable- I could have worn the smaller size but sized up as I was going to a corporate event. The detailing at the waist is very figure flattering and I got a ton of compliments on it! Would definitely rent this one again.

I normally wear a 4 or 6 in Nicole Miller. I have a small upper body, bigger in the hips. Height: 5'7" and 138 lbs. The 6 wasn't available so I just went with the 4 and it was ideal because as many others said, the material is a bit stretchy. Got compliments all night! Definitely recommend. Fun and a bit sexy-sophisticated, totally work appropriate...

My parents hosted a brunch engagement party over the Thanksgiving weekend. I wanted to have a great dress that was not too "dressy", and this one really fit the bill. It is definitely on the conservative side, it fell right above my knee, but for me and this event it was really great, and I toned it down even more with tights and flats. There was some wrinkling of the black belt across the front of the dress as others mentioned, but it was not something I really noticed. I got a lot of compliments. It was a great, fun, comfortable dress.

I wore this to a work function (which is why I wore the black shrug rather than bare shoulders). The dress was very comfortable and it looked great even without Spanx underneath. I received compliments from a few complete strangers! This dress is definitely a keeper and I will be renting it again.

This is a great party dress -- feels celebratory and makes you feel great. The colors are great in person -- bright but not loud, really fun. The mesh back and stretch to the fabric makes it tight, but really flattering. I have a curvy bottom and it was very flattering and was true to size.

I got this dress as my free birthday dress, and I loved it! My fiancee didn't want me to return it! I ordered the 2 and the 0 as my back up size. There wasn't much of a difference between the two and I could have worn either. I chose the 2 because I was wearing it at work. I work as a TV news anchor and I got several compliments from viewers when I wore it on air.

I work this to my a formal dinner I attended with my daughter, it's very complementary while remaining "mom" appropriate. I'm 5'7" and the dress fell just a few inches shorter than my knees, which was perfect. It was also very comfortable!

The fit was true to size. I tried a 2 and a 4. The 2 fit, but was really tight in the rear. The 4 was way more forgiving. I really liked that I could wear a bra with this dress. The fabric is not a print, but is embroidered with gold metallic thread so that it is very shiny. The "belt" is just a piece of fabric and is not an actual belt. I wore this dress to the governors mansion and thought it was very appropriate. It would also be great for a cocktail party. It happened to be warmer that night, but tights looked good with it when I tried them.

Dress fits true to size and is a flattering cut. I wore it for a benefit dinner and since it was work related it was just the right amount of professional and evening. It did ride up a bit with walking and the neck area was a tad tight but not uncomfortably so.

Loved this dress. Comfortable to wear. Fabric gives everywhere except the waist. People stopped me on the street and told me I looked great! I felt great in it. Wish I owned it. I changed bras a few times to get the right fit as the shoulders taper in a bit. But it has the ability to clip your bra strap to the dress so it doesn't show.

I manage special events for a ballet company, and decided to RTR for a reception following our opening night performance. The 10 fit perfectly, and I got so many compliments on the fit and design! The length was conservative enough for work, and the sheer back was the perfect touch of dressy. It did ride up a bit as I was running around, but no one seemed to notice. I was sad to return it!

Not for someone 5'0--definitely created for a person with a longer torso. The black band / waist area didn't hit quite right and the size 2 was slightly large. All of that being said, it was a high quality, comfortable dress. Much more sparkly in person. This was my first RTR experience and I can't wait to rent again!

I typically wear size 2, but went with the 4 for the party. This dress is better for boyish figures. I have a small waist, but with my hips, the fabric bunched up and made my belly look fat. The dress is really pretty, fully lined, great lines (shoulders look excellent), appropriate but not dowdy length. Accessories were easy--big gold cuff, gold vintage purse, ankle strap black sandals and black hose flecked with gold.

It fit well and was flattering but I didn't know the back was a little sheer. It was fine but I was going to a work event so I'm not sure I would have chose something see though.

I wore this dress to a wedding where I was the event decorator/coordinator. It was perfect. The slit in the back is high which made me a little self conscious as I was walking. I kept wiggling the dress down. Worked nicely and felt professional!

I didn't realize the dress was gold, in other pictures I thought it was beige or nude. I liked the gold though! I also was unaware the back was sheer. Luckily, I own a nude bra. Wearing nude over black makes it a lot less provocative. Loved the dress and got lots of compliments!

I loved this dress when I first saw it, but there was only a size 4 (even tho' I'm a six), so I went for it. Granted it was a little tight on my tummy, but overall a really beautiful dress for a dinner party -- the Girls' Lounge Shero Dinner. I wore it with a black bra and black heels, though a racerback or strapless bra would probably work better -- as my straps did sneak out a few times.

I really loved the black and gold polka dots. It was just enough glitz and would make this dress perfect for even a NYE cocktail party. I wore a size 0 because some parts of the dress were a bit big. The black belt in the middle was tight and cinched the waist enough to create some curves. However the piece of fabric below the waist was a little larger and would sometimes ride up. Overall it was easy enough to deal with and I loved the colors!

I rented this dress for my husbands chief pinning. It was perfect for the occasion and complimented his uniform perfectly! I normally wear an 8-10 but the belt part is so tight and fitted I could barely zip up the 10.

I am giving this dress four stars only because it was a last minute replacement for a dress that was returned damaged and I didn't think it was as perfect for the events theme (Bollywood). That being said, this dress is very comfortable, easy to wear, photographed well and was a great length for me for a more formal affair then just date night or going out with friends. The back is a mesh fabric (but not so see through that you need to worry about not wearing a normal bra) and creates a sexy silhouette from behind. I am smaller on top and curvier on bottom and the 2 also fit, however, the 4 laid much more nicely around my hips and looked just as flattering. The material is thick, so it keeps its shape. It does slightly ride up after sitting/walking, but not a problem when dancing. Also, the girls at RTR were amazing and on the phone with me last minute sending me available dress options and helping me to search for a replacement. Customer service was amazing. Will definitely rent again - the whole process was great despite not getting the original dress I had planned on!

Fit was true but does bunch up a little at the middle. I have a post-partum waist and the print hides the mommy tummy but I kept having to pull it down to minimize bunching. Need an extra set of hands to zip it. I'm 5'7" and length was perfect . Photographs better than it looks in person.

The proportions were a little off for my long torso but I loved that it was a little stretchy in the back. The black band and gold fabric around the waist gave me a great silhouette and was very flattering.
