I was styled my sister-in-law for this gal and told her to trust me. She's a size 0 she said it was tight for her in the rib cage and she's tiny. She loved it and it was really cute on her.

I loved this dress. It fit well and was very comfortable. The high-low made it work for the gala I attended.

I enjoyed wearing this dress and received many compliments! The only drawback for me was that it doesn't have pockets. 

Thick material helps make the flare but not the most comfortable

I fell in love with the unique pattern on this dress, and was so excited when it fit comfortably! The skirt shape is very forgiving, so you can enjoy your dinner and several drinks without feeling super bloated. The material is wonderful. The cut is absolutely adorable while still remaining sexy and fun. Awesome bonus; this dress pairs beautifully with wedges! I loathe heels, but can last all day in wedges. :)

I really liked this dress and wore it to a Christmas party for work. I can see why some people said it ran small. I wore my normal size because I have a smaller waist with wider hips. The backup was a size 6 but I think the 4 worked for me. I would rent it again

I rented this as a backup. The dress I ended up wearing was 2 sizes higher than my normal size and the zipper on this was really difficult to work. Beautiful dress though. 

One of my favorite RTR dresses ever.  It was so fun to wear and I got so many compliments. The top is stretchy and I wore a regular black bra underneath (love not having to wear a strapless bra!). Just like other reviewers said, the waistband has no give and runs really tight. I'm a 34C and wear XS shirts; I would normally wear a 6 but ended up going with the 8 purely for the waistband. 

This was a really great dress for a fancy summer wedding. The fabric was comfortable, and it was fun to dance in. I got lots of compliments!

Fits snug at the top.  If you are little more board, expect a tighter fit

I requested both a size 8 (my regular size) and a 10.  I ended up wearing the 10 because it was small across the bust and the 8 was too tight.  As a 72 year old woman, I was looking for something that was stylish and "age" appropriate.  This fit the bill.  I was totally comfortable and had many positive comments. 

It's a little snug where the top meets the bottom, since it's an extra layer of fabric. But, super cute and different. Received a ton of compliments

I wore this dress for my Mother's Day pics and it was just right! Dressy but not over the top! The fit and quality of fabric was wonderful!! It is true to size but the top was a little tight...I did manage to get it zipped up in the back. The skirt part was super cute and flattering:)

You definitely have to go up a size with this dress because the fitted part is around your rib cage, not your natural waist.  The pattern is so fun, and I received so many compliments on it.  


Cinches at the waist, which is very tight/ hard to zip, but gives you a great silhouette. I wear a 34DD, this was also tight on the chest, but in the way that I just didn't have to wear a bra

This is an amazing dress!! Great for an hourglass body shape. I received tons of compliments!! I wanted to wear it every day!

The waist strap had no give so keep that in mind. I did not wear a bra. 

Fit was perfect.  Hard to zip up with the extra fabric but not impossible.  This high low was perfect for a hot summer wedding.  Good thing it was indoors the fabric was a little heavier.  Got compliments from every women there.  The details look classy and bright enough to catch an eye.  

A little tough to get into but once it was on it was amazing. Got many compliments all night. Didn't need to wear a bra, material is very thick. Very well made. 

The Galaxy Dress was a hit! Received many compliments. It was a bit tight at first in the lower rib area, but still danced the night away in this well-made dress.

Loved this dress. Would rent it again and again. Should have tried it with a different bra so I didn't have to worry about the straps (as you can see in the pic) but other than that great fit/length/comfort etc. Perfect amount of dressy/fancy but with some fun!

I loved this dress!  Chest and waste have no give so size up if you are busty.  I usually wear a size 4 and went with the 6 on this one.  I'm 5'4", 32D.  So fun and flirty with really great structure.  It also travels well with no wrinkles! 

The dress is tight up top, with a soft cotton-y bust, and flares out from the ribbon. Nice, thick fabric on bottom, but you want a bra up top. Cuts in at the shoulders a bit so be aware of that when choosing a bra. I got the 4 and the 6 and didn't notice a difference between them...Both felt tight around my rib cage/stomach (where the ribbon falls), but somehow the 4 was slightly more comfortable. It's possible that the size difference matters at the bust, but with my small chest (32B) I didn't notice. Wouldn't recommend for large chests or waists, but it hides all pouch in the gut area. Wore with tights because it was unseasonably cold, but would be cute with bare legs too - not too short like I feared! (I'm 5'5")

Dress fit perfect. I ordered an 8 and a 10 for back up. Wore the 8. Loved the dress and it was perfect for the occasion. Picture shows the shoe choices I was selecting from...wore the black. It was cold, so I added the mesh arm spanx and wore classic Balmain jacket over it for part of the evening - fabulous!

I love this dress! The fit was perfect, the space feel it had went great with my personality. I had many compliments throughout the night. I had twins 8 months ago who were 7lbs each! So I'm still looking the the baby weight, this dress covered the lower belly section perfectly while making my waist stand out and look small. Overall, great dress, one I'm looking to buy once back to my pre baby weight! I'm 5'3 and the length was Great! 

Love this dress. Runs a little small but doable in my normal size.   

This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be using this company again. The dress was beautiful and comfortable. I wore it to an office Christmas party. It does run small, as noted, so I ended up wesring my backu size. The dress did not hve the appearance of having been worn before, which is great. It is a unique dress and was so much fun to wear. Thank you RTR!!

Gorgeous dress with unique print, but ran small, thus requiring a larger size than I normally wear.  Aside from being small, zipper was also difficult to zip.  Still, this has been my favorite rent the runway dress thus far!

The fit was spot on! At first she complained the size 0 was too tight so she tried on the size 2. It fit as well but the size 0 looked better so she went with it. There is not stretch to the waist area so make sure to order your right size and order up for the backup!

This dress was so much fun. I wore it to a semi formal wedding. It was easy to dance, move, and sit in.  I wore a strapless bra to avoid any visible straps. The only caution - I had to wiggle this dress over my hips - so once it was on, it for like a glove, but if I was any curvier in the hip area, I would have had go up a size. Once on there was plenty of room in the skirt, and I did not feel restricted at all, but just fair warming when you read through my sizes and choose one for yourself! ;)

I wish I was a little bit taller because this would fit perfect. The top was just an inch or two too long, but so fun to wear! 

This dress is fantastic. Wore it for a black tie invited wedding and I would absolutely rent it again.

It fit like a glove and has a great silhouette that accentuated the right curves without going overboard.  I danced all night and never felt restricted.

Important to note the waist has little give but the top is: more accommodating for a varied bust size. Definitely go up for the second size if you're worried.

Super comfortable and flowy on the skirt portion. The waist bad was a bit snug, but it wasn't unbearable. 

The material of this dress is thick, and the skirt is stiff meant to give it this beautiful shape. I got so many compliments on this dress because it's so unique and flattering. I did a lot of research to pick the right dress and I'm so glad I went with this one. You won't be disappointed- stop looking and just rent it!!!

I rented this dress to wear to a graduation program for work. It was the perfect mix of modesty and fun. I absolutely loved the cosmic print on the skirt and received compliments on the dress all night long. The dress fit pretty true to size in the waist and had plenty of rooms in the hips. I would recommend a bra that is adjustable to be racerback or one something similar because traditional bra straps will show with the cut of the shoulders. 

Heavy, expensive-feeling fabric balanced out by overlapping panels on the front. It was a little snug in the waist but the heavy fabric provided support. Went braless, too. 12 would have felt too big for that. Very pretty, loved to wear it.

Wore to a formal nighttime wedding and received tons of compliments!  Felt like a princess and someone else's wedding! Lol

I absolutely LOVED this dress and received several compliments on it at the wedding I attended! I feel like it perfectly fit my personality and was just the perfect combination of classy and edgy. I wish I could buy it!! As far as the fit goes, I'd say this dress runs between true to size and small, so if you're unsure, definitely order your backup dress one size larger. I normally wear a size 10 (I'm 5'7 and about 165 pounds) and I ended up wearing the 10 to the wedding I attended, but I think I would have been better off in the size 12 as there is absolutely no stretch in the waist area and it made sitting down a little bit uncomfortable. But still, this dress gets 5 stars from me!
