I loved this dress. It fit well and was very comfortable. The high-low made it work for the gala I attended.

This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be using this company again. The dress was beautiful and comfortable. I wore it to an office Christmas party. It does run small, as noted, so I ended up wesring my backu size. The dress did not hve the appearance of having been worn before, which is great. It is a unique dress and was so much fun to wear. I was styled my sister-in-law for this gal and told her to trust me. She's a size 0 she said it was tight for her in the rib cage and she's tiny. She loved it and it was really cute on her.

I fell in love with the unique pattern on this dress, and was so excited when it fit comfortably! The skirt shape is very forgiving, so you can enjoy your dinner and several drinks without feeling super bloated. The material is wonderful. The cut is absolutely adorable while still remaining sexy and fun. Awesome bonus; this dress pairs beautifully with wedges! I loathe heels, but can last all day in wedges. :)

I really liked this dress and wore it to a Christmas party for work. I can see why some people said it ran small. I wore my normal size because I have a smaller waist with wider hips. The backup was a size 6 but I think the 4 worked for me. I would rent it again

One of my favorite RTR dresses ever. It was so fun to wear and I got so many compliments. The top is stretchy and I wore a regular black bra underneath (love not having to wear a strapless bra!). Just like other reviewers said, the waistband has no give and runs really tight. I'm a 34C and wear XS shirts; I would normally wear a 6 but ended up going with the 8 purely for the waistband.

This was a really great dress for a fancy summer wedding. The fabric was comfortable, and it was fun to dance in. I got lots of compliments!

The dress is very unique with the solar system skirt. Got a lot of complements. Pairs better with cropped blazer than sweater. Wore strappy sandals. Need racerback/ x-back bra.

Wore this dress for a afternoon winery wedding. I was skeptical when I took it out of the bag because it's seems like a lot of fabric on the skirt. Once it was on it looked great. I feel like the waist band was small-the 10 fit but felt snug. Very flattering shape and fit!

Wish I owned this dress! It accented all the right areas. The cut is pretty low on the arms, but it didn't look too bad. The dress is very well made, and you can even wear a strapless bra without a problem.

I was nervous about wearing black to a wedding, but having tried it on in the RTR Georgetown Store, I decided that it was so interesting and flatting in a number of ways that I couldn't pass it up. Since the wedding was a modern art museum at night in the winter, it ended up being perfect, and so many people wore black, anyway. It was a really fun dress and I got tons of compliments. The material of the skirt is gorgeous and high end, so I looked to purchase the dress. The designer also appears to have used the skirt material to make separates, and so I tried to buy the skirt, but my size wasn't available. Suggestion: I'm smaller on top (usually a size 4) than on bottom, but the 6 was perfect all the way around, so the top may be tight and you want to size up. Length was great on me, at 5/3" the front half hit right above the knee. If you want to show more leg, and you're taller, it would still be nice.

The fabric is thick, print is gorgeous! The armholes are larger than a typical dress but not uncomfortably so. Definitely a stand out dress, got plenty of compliments!! An RTR best in my book!

Firstly, this dress is magical. The skirt pattern is unique but still very understated and elegant. I'm not generally a mullet dress fan, but this one was perfect for my black tie Christmas party. I'm a larger size ten so I requested the 12 just in case I couldn't make the smaller one work. The ten fit like a glove. The waist was a little tight but not inordinately so. The front length was just long enough but not too long. There's plenty of room in the bust area (I'm a bigger C cup so zippers can be a challenge) to the point where my bestie who's my size but a double D couldn't even fill out the 12. You'll absolutely need a strapless bra but the top material is thick enough that you probably could go without if you don't have one/cannot be contained by one. Overall loved it and wish I owned it (not that I regularly attend events where I could wear it...) Probably too warm for mid-summer events but perfect for a sort of chilly Texas winter evening!

Such a nice change of pace for cocktail party attire. Was initially worried about print being too space-y but it's almost abstract from far away. The tailoring of the skirt is spot on and the high-low cut is super flattering. First time renting from this designer and will certainly do so again.

I had more fun dancing, standing, sitting, talking... I almost wanted to wear it to bed after the party. The only tough thing for me were the deep armholes -- they look super cool but mean you need a special bra or no bra. I wore a low-fitting bustier type of deal, and it was absolutely perfect.

I wore this to my husband's company's holiday party & received compliments all night! Size 4 fit true and it was a great dress for my body type- small waist, big booty, thicker upper legs. Incredibly flattering and slimmed my bottom half down. Great fabric, very comfortable. I actually ended up wearing a padded sports bra with it & you couldn't tell. Was sad to see it go back to RTR, I loved it & would rent it again in a heartbeat!

The dress fit well. Due to the cutof the arm holes I did not wear a bra. I wore the dress to a holiday party and then the next day to a wedding. I received so many compliments at both events.

I am very skinny and didn't know if it would fit, but it was just the right size! Not to big not too small, just right! the top runs small and doesn't move much. I got so many compliments on it, it is a perfect way too stand out and look fashionable! And it was not too short'

I absolutely loved this dress! Flattering and fun to wear - perfect balance of edge and classic lines. Fit is fabulous though you do need the right bra with the way the arms cut in. Weighty material makes it winter party ready. Almost wore it with black tights and shoes but you want the contrast of the black lining against the color of your legs for full effect.

This dress is AMAZING! I'm usually a size 8 but it didn't fit me right so I wore a 10. The armholes are a bit strange, but it didn't bother me too much. I am a first time renter and I will definitely be back for more!

The dress was amazing! I have a LARGE bust size (38DD), so I was terrified to order a dress online and it not be able to close around my bust or be too big in the waist. If you have a large bust, you will need someone to help you zip the dress up. But you can order it in your size. It doesn't have the stretch material so it took my man-friend and a strong prayer to get the dress closed around the bust. But once the dress actually zipped, it fit PERFECT. I got compliments the entire evening and I didn't want to take it off! Wish I would've taken more photos. BTW, PERFECT dress to go to an event with open bar and lots of food. It hides the bulge of that catered dinner afterward. I didn't have to worry about sucking in after I ate, lol.

Loved loved this dress. Normally an 8 a little hard to zip. The back my be cut just a little narrow , but once in it was comfortable. Went braless the weight of the fabric made it easy to adjust myself to stay perky. Would love to own this dress.

I'm usually not a fan of the mullet (short in front, long in back) but took a risk... and it totally paid off! This dress was perfect. From the unique print, to the weight of the fabric, to where the waistline hit on the body. I loved it.

I ordered a size 10 and 12 for a formal gala. The 10 fit perfectly. I was worried because in the reviews all of the other women were significantly shorter then me, so I thought that the front would run short. The front was just the right length to show off enough leg and still look tasteful. I received a million compliments from everyone, so many that that I wish that I owned this dress in real life! The fabric is very rich with just enough density, its not cheap or flimsy at all. I wore 3 1/2 inch peek-toe booties with the dress which put me at about 6 feet tall, so I definitely stood out. Since the dress is so detailed you don't really have to use so many accessories , in fact use as little as possible. The dress is enough. I chose to wear gold teardrop earrings to match the gold zipper in the back but that was it. This is a wonderful dress that is great for all body types!

I was nervous about the front of the skirt being too short based on the picture of the model but it wasn't. Like the other reviews the fit of the arm holes make it a bit difficult to hide bra straps. I wore a racer back and just kept tucking them in throughout the night. If I had enough time I would've bought something else to replace the bra. Fit was a bit snug, but i think a 6 would've been too large. Shipping was efficient. It was, all over, a beautiful dress and many wanted to touch it because it looked so interesting. Also the volume of the skirt was not lost in shipping so that was good.

I ordered the 4 and 6. The 4 fit but the 6 was more comfortable. I am usually a true size 4. I was worried about it being too short since I am 5'10" but it was perfect! A group of women voted me best dressed for the night! I can't wait to order again!

I rented this dress for a wedding and it was so much fun to wear! The dress feels well constructed. I wore a size 4 but I think a 6 would have fit a bit better (no 6 was available). I loved wearing this dress and felt great all night!

Dress quality was amazing. I recently had a baby and was looking for something figure flattering. I have a boyish body type with no curves so i need dresses with structure. I couldn't have chosen any better. It gave me the right kind of curves and hid my belly. Truly stunning and the uneven hemline gives it such a different look. Loved it. This is my first RTR experience and most certainly it wont be the last.

I absolutely adore this dress ! The skirt print is on trend and stood out from the crowd. The fabric is luxurious and the exposed gold zipper at center back has an edgy touch. Everyone commented on the hi- lo hem which looked fabulous with ankle booties. I could have worn the 6 or 8, the 8 was slightly more comfortable at the waist, but I chose the 6 because the armholes are very scooped and the shoulder is more narrow, making it difficult to wear a bra. A strapless might have worked but I didn't have one with me, so I didn't wear one. I wore the 6 to ensure the bust was tight enough for support. I tried a cross back bra but you could see the straps and side of bra cups at the front armholes, which may have been gaping a little. The fabric was thick enough at bodice for modesty and had a nice texture . The skirt kept it's fullness and shape. Overall the fit was great/as expected. I highly recommend this dress! It pairs great with a leather jacket and gold jewelry. I want to keep it so badly!! I felt perfect in it all night!

I enjoyed wearing this dress and received many compliments! The only drawback for me was that it doesn't have pockets.

I rented this as a backup. The dress I ended up wearing was 2 sizes higher than my normal size and the zipper on this was really difficult to work. Beautiful dress though.

This dress was fabulous! The bottom fabric was thick and held it's shape. The top needed some fashion tape to hide bra straps. I'm usually a 4 and wore the 2. It was snug in the waist but fit better than the bigger 4. I would absolutely suggest renting this dress.

There is no give in this dress. So it fit snuggly on my waist but was a little loose up top, if I were more endowed may have filled it out better. It still looked amazing on.
