Runs small around the lower ribcage area so definitely good idea to size up by one extra size. I am a size 0 and wore size 2. It fit really well. The length is longer so it fell to about 3 inches below my knees which still looked great. A petite length would have been helpful. The top is partly see through in the shoulder area and belly area but still very tasteful and elegant. I was not comfortable without a bra so i wore one. For some reason the gray color of the bra meshed well with the red and did not show and just simply faded into the beautiful red color. Overall beautiful and comfortable dress. My phone fit in the pocket and i did not have to worry about bringing a purse. 

Such a fun dress for engagement photos. Wore with gold shoes. Comfortable and flattering. There is a small section at the waist above the skirt that is sheer through the top layer. Skirt does show every wrinkle due to the fabric. 

Felt very chic in this. As others have noted, the top doesn't have much give, so it might be a tight squeeze for larger busts. I'm a 30B and a size 0 fit perfectly. Ended up wearing something else but am lining for an occasion to rent this again and wear it!

This is a great color is red, and the dress is very comfortable and has pockets! There is mesh over the top portion of the bodice with no whining or backer around the waist and in the upper chest. Make sure to planet your undergarments accordingly!

LOVE that this is in women's sizes and kept the peek a boo stomach!  Felt sexy, elegant, with a little scandal. Never felt uncomfortable. Would highly recommend.

Fit was perfect! I am 125 lbs. and 5'3" and the size 4 fit like a glove (not an OJ Simpson glove either ;))!! The model shows the dress hits over the knee, but it was mid-calf and I actually preferred that length. I wore a nude bra and nobody noticed the bra straps. Oh, and the dress has pockets!! Be prepared to steam the dress! On a side note, this was my first pick dress but in size 2. I was notified by RTR that due to unforseen circumstances, they couldn't send me the dress. They had a personal stylist pick a similar dress and shipped that in the original dress' place. They were very accommodating and professional and offered to overnight another dress if I wasn't happy. Now that is service!!

I usually wear a 0 but they didn't have that size available so I took a chance and just ordered the 2 based on the reviews I read. It fit perfectly, so I would recommend sizing up if you're unsure on the size. The material is thick and the skirt lays beautifully. The top adds a modern flair with the crocheted lace and it also has some edgy cut-outs in the lace which are sexy but tasteful. It was perfect for a winter Christmas party, the thick fabric was comfortable and warm. Plus it had pockets!! I couldn't wear a bra with this because of how low the back is, however if you have a really low bra band you may be fine with a strapless. I got a lot of compliments and felt very festive.

I ordered an 8R and ended up wearing the back up 10R because the fabric/fit around the waist and bust was snug and fitting.  I wore the dress without a bra (and I'm only a 36B) because it was tight on top.  The length of the dress appeared shorter in the model picture but thanks to the reviews and pics of others the dress hit mid-calf, which I was hoping it would!  The color is vibrant and the satin bottom with lacey top, cap sleeve was great for a winter party!  I did a bright red lip, red bottom Louboutins in nude, one sparkling bangle and chandelier earrings and got many compliments!  It was fun to feel so glamorous!

I wore this dress to a black tie optional awards banquet. It was super cute and comfortable. I spent all night in it, including eating dinner and dancing, and it never wrinkled or got uncomfortable. I found that it fit true to size. Would definitely recommend! 

This dress perfectly managed my two dressing challenges -- 6 ft tall and small chested.  Length was fun while not skimpy, color was rich, bodice was nicely fitted (and im small through the torso. )

I loved this dress so much. The red is super rich and it photographs amazing. It does run small though and the zipper was super tough to get over the waist band because of the change in fabric for the sheer middle situation. 

Such a beautiful dress! It was super elegant, fun to dance in, and had pockets!! Worn to a wedding in November in Virginia, and the material was heavy enough to be warm while we were outside. Make sure you have a bra that will work with the open back, mine was barely covered. Belt is mine. 

This dress made me feel amazing at a recent (cocktail attire) wedding. The color is gorgeous and it has such a lovely silhouette. Very Audrey Hepburn. The peek-a-boo top made it especially fun and a little sexy. I received so so many compliments and the deep pockets were so handy. As many other reviewers mentioned, the fitted top runs slightly small. I wore my usual size but my back was aching by the end of the evening from how tight it was! I think the next size up would have been too big though. I can recommend, especially if you have a naturally small waist.

Fit well and was very comfortable plus the pockets were great! I would say size up, it is pretty tight across the chest.

This dress is beautiful! I wore it to a fancy dinner while vacationing in Vegas and it was perfect. The dress does run small, so maybe be prepared to order a size up. I am typically a 12, and when I wore the 12, it was very very tight. 

The color was so pretty and the dress was pretty too. It has pockets which I love and is fun to wear. But it was soo tight across the ribs. I couldn't breathe out the entire night. Not my favorite rtr selection ....

Such a fun dress. I usually wear a six but went with the 8 and 10 based on reviews. The 8 was a little tight but loosened up quickly. The 10 was baggy, which didn't look good with the style at all.

It's a little heavy since the skirt fabric is thick, but I wore it to a wedding in Texas in September and I was not too hot in the dress since the top is not heavy. 

If you get the right right enough size, easy to wear with no bra. 

Such a beautiful dress, my first RTR and I couldn't be happier.  I got so many compliments on how beautiful it was and loved the pockets.

I was a little skeptical of this dress on the hanger because the top is almost knitted, but once you put it on, it is super fun!  I wore this to a black tie event and it really stood out against all the other "safe," sequin slinky dresses.  It definitely looked formal enough and very classy.  The dress gets a little tight around the middle (rib cage area, not stomach) so you might need help zipping up, but once it's on, it has a slimming effect with the skirt being full.

I rented this dress for an engagement shoot and LOVE how this dress pops in the photos! It is a very true red - not orangey but not cool toned either. It does run small in the upper body. I am consistently a size 10 in RTR designer dresses and needed a 12 for this one to accommodate my bust and arms, and it was still a little snug. If you are slender on top relative to your bottom, though, you probably won't need to size up. If you rent this dress make sure you have a steamer handy - when the dress arrived the bottom was wrinkled, and given the smooth fabric the wrinkles really show. I was able to steam everything out in 20 minutes with a tiny hand-held steamer. I also wish I'd worn flesh toned shapewear to my rib cage to prevent some minor muffin top, given the lower-sitting waist and sheer panel above it. It is a heavier fabric, even the top, so I was a little warm. All in all, though, this dress was fun and flirty!

This dress was gorgeous from the get go. I thought I would need a size 18 based on the measurements but they didn't have it available so I ordered a 20 and a 16 in the hopes that all my workouts and eating right would pay off. And it totally did, not only did the 16 fit but it was kind of big on me, even in the bust! This dress is fun and flirty and the pockets just make that much more fun to wear. I made my mother take about 50 pictures of me wearing this dress to show off on social media!

The sleeves were a bit tight on my arms which prevented some mobility on the dance floor but overall, very fun party dress.

A gorgeous red dress simply too big for me but it was the only size available. Pockets! Great for  night out. Open design around stomach and shoulders

The fabric on this dress was so thick and rich.  I didn't wear a bra, but wish I wore a strapless.  

This dress is adorable! It is very Audrey Hepburn and very fancy. The fabric is very heavy, which is why I opted not to wear it for a summer wedding. The skirt flares out and is very flowy. The mid section is a bit see-through, which I did not mind at all. The bust area and shoulders are tight fitting and very elegant. It gives the dress a bit more of a sexy feeling. It did arrive to me damaged, with a few stitches ripped out at the bust area. In any case, I look forward to renting this dress again for a holiday party!

The fit of this dress is awesome! The zipper was stiff but other than that it was a great rental. The pockets made it fun and practical to wear. I wear this to a 50's/Rat Pack themed party. Received tons of compliments all night!!

Wore it for a roaring 20's themed party- it was great! I was a bit uncomfortable with my belly showing, wish it had been solid. It was a bit big, but I have been losing weight. I did have to iron the bottom when it arrived.

Received compliments from several women on this dress.  It has a rich red color, and the texture on top is great, especially in contrast to the smooth skirt.  

This dress might be a little formal for work, the designer should have been a top off for me that this dress is better for weddings.    Also, would look best on someone tall, narrow and straight, as the skirt has structured volume.   

Fiance opinion is most important.  He did not offer one, but when asked, he said it was "good."

I loved wearing this dress. I'm not much for formal dresses and this dress struck the perfect balance between fun, flirty, and formal. The satin skirt is gorgeous, a perfect tea length for this short girl (5' 1"), and THE POCKETS ARE EXTRA LARGE!! 
Believe the reviews when they say the top runs small. I wore my backup size but probably would have been more comfortable in the next size up. 

Didn't end up wearing this dress to my event, but loved it nonetheless! Fit perfectly! See through areas of the top add some sexiness but still conservative enough to wear for work event, show, etc

I felt fantastic in this dress and received many compliments. It fit perfectly, was super comfy and... pockets! Who doesn't love a beautiful gown with pockets? The color is gorgeous, the fabric luxe and the skirt has a gracious swish to it. The cut-out midsection is a fun touch. I really loved everything about this dress and would totally rent it again. 

I got so many compliments on this dress!! I loved wearing it for my husband and I's anniversary celebration. The fit runs tight through the ribcage, but is otherwise very flattering. I was newly pregnant in this dress and it fit me very nicely.

The top is tight. I'm medium chested so why there is no room for a padded bra is strange. Otherwise it's great. Order a size up from your usual should do the trick. 

Great color, fun to dance in, dressy without being too formal, has pockets.  Wore this without a bra and still felt fine dancing.

This dress was really fun. A little bit flirty but still mice enough to be a dance chaperone. The pockets are really fun. I enjoyed wearing this dress.
