I'm 5'5" and 128 and usually wear a size 4. The other reviewers were correct it's quite fitted in the bodice I'm very muscular and small on top so it fit me just right. I'm heavier on bottom so the size 4 worked great for me but I could see if you are bustier than a B you will need to go up in size. Got lots of compliments, loved the quality of the fabric very 1950s Elizabeth Taylor would definitely rent this again.

This dress was my substitute dress as the one I originally picked was not available. The color of the dress is beautiful and I had to wear the size 12 instead of the 10 as it was a bit tight in the bust area. Overall the dress is a beautiful a-line style that is very flattering and comfortable.

GORGEOUS COLOR. POCKETS. I'm 6'1," wore 2" heels, and the dress hit just below my knee. The sleeves are a bit restricting but the full skirt is a lot of fun and great for twirling. I especially loved the sheer mid section detail- it added an edgy element to an otherwise conservative dress. My only real complaint is the zipper was a little difficult to pull up because of the thickness of the material.

Runs small around the lower ribcage area so definitely good idea to size up by one extra size. I am a size 0 and wore size 2. It fit really well. The length is longer so it fell to about 3 inches below my knees which still looked great. A petite length would have been helpful. The top is partly see through in the shoulder area and belly area but still very tasteful and elegant. I was not comfortable without a bra so i wore one. For some reason the gray color of the bra meshed well with the red and did not show and just simply faded into the beautiful red color. Overall beautiful and comfortable dress. My phone fit in the pocket and i did not have to worry about bringing a purse.

Such a fun dress for engagement photos. Wore with gold shoes. Comfortable and flattering. There is a small section at the waist above the skirt that is sheer through the top layer. Skirt does show every wrinkle due to the fabric.

Felt very chic in this. As others have noted, the top doesn't have much give, so it might be a tight squeeze for larger busts. I'm a 30B and a size 0 fit perfectly. Ended up wearing something else but am lining for an occasion to rent this again and wear it!

This is a great color is red, and the dress is very comfortable and has pockets! There is mesh over the top portion of the bodice with no whining or backer around the waist and in the upper chest. Make sure to planet your undergarments accordingly!

LOVE that this is in women's sizes and kept the peek a boo stomach! Felt sexy, elegant, with a little scandal. Never felt uncomfortable. Would highly recommend.

Fit was perfect! I am 125 lbs. and 5'3" and the size 4 fit like a glove (not an OJ Simpson glove either ;))!! The model shows the dress hits over the knee, but it was mid-calf and I actually preferred that length. I wore a nude bra and nobody noticed the bra straps. Oh, and the dress has pockets!! Be prepared to steam the dress! On a side note, this was my first pick dress but in size 2. I was notified by RTR that due to unforseen circumstances, they couldn't send me the dress. They had a personal stylist pick a similar dress and shipped that in the original dress' place. They were very accommodating and professional and offered to overnight another dress if I wasn't happy. Now that is service!!

I usually wear a 0 but they didn't have that size available so I took a chance and just ordered the 2 based on the reviews I read. It fit perfectly, so I would recommend sizing up if you're unsure on the size. The material is thick and the skirt lays beautifully. The top adds a modern flair with the crocheted lace and it also has some edgy cut-outs in the lace which are sexy but tasteful. It was perfect for a winter Christmas party, the thick fabric was comfortable and warm. Plus it had pockets!! I couldn't wear a bra with this because of how low the back is, however if you have a really low bra band you may be fine with a strapless. I got a lot of compliments and felt very festive.

I wore this dress to a black tie optional awards banquet. It was super cute and comfortable. I spent all night in it, including eating dinner and dancing, and it never wrinkled or got uncomfortable. I found that it fit true to size. Would definitely recommend!

This dress perfectly managed my two dressing challenges -- 6 ft tall and small chested. Length was fun while not skimpy, color was rich, bodice was nicely fitted (and im small through the torso. )

I loved this dress so much. The red is super rich and it photographs amazing. It does run small though and the zipper was super tough to get over the waist band because of the change in fabric for the sheer middle situation.

Such a beautiful dress! It was super elegant, fun to dance in, and had pockets!! Worn to a wedding in November in Virginia, and the material was heavy enough to be warm while we were outside. Make sure you have a bra that will work with the open back, mine was barely covered. Belt is mine.

Such a fun dress. I usually wear a six but went with the 8 and 10 based on reviews. The 8 was a little tight but loosened up quickly. The 10 was baggy, which didn't look good with the style at all. Picture is slightly blurry because it's a screenshot of a video of me twirling in it. Such a good dancing dress. It's a little heavy since the skirt fabric is thick, but I wore it to a wedding in Texas in September and I was not too hot in the dress since the top is not heavy. If you get the right right enough size, easy to wear with no bra.

I rented this dress for an engagement shoot and LOVE how this dress pops in the photos! It is a very true red - not orangey but not cool toned either. It does run small in the upper body. I am consistently a size 10 in RTR designer dresses and needed a 12 for this one to accommodate my bust and arms, and it was still a little snug. If you are slender on top relative to your bottom, though, you probably won't need to size up. If you rent this dress make sure you have a steamer handy - when the dress arrived the bottom was wrinkled, and given the smooth fabric the wrinkles really show. I was able to steam everything out in 20 minutes with a tiny hand-held steamer. I also wish I'd worn flesh toned shapewear to my rib cage to prevent some minor muffin top, given the lower-sitting waist and sheer panel above it. It is a heavier fabric, even the top, so I was a little warm. All in all, though, this dress was fun and flirty!

This dress was gorgeous from the get go. I thought I would need a size 18 based on the measurements but they didn't have it available so I ordered a 20 and a 16 in the hopes that all my workouts and eating right would pay off. And it totally did, not only did the 16 fit but it was kind of big on me, even in the bust! This dress is fun and flirty and the pockets just make that much more fun to wear. I made my mother take about 50 pictures of me wearing this dress to show off on social media!

Wore it for a roaring 20's themed party- it was great! I was a bit uncomfortable with my belly showing, wish it had been solid. It was a bit big, but I have been losing weight. I did have to iron the bottom when it arrived.

The color is gorgeous, the fabric luxe and the skirt has a gracious swish to it. The cut-out midsection is a fun touch. I really loved everything about this dress and would totally rent it again.
