I'm 5'1", 120 lbs, 32D and the 4 fit wonderfully--- minus the length. I had to use hemming tape as it was really long, but no one even noticed. I received so many compliments! The pockets are, of course, a fantastic feature.

It fit well! I enjoyed wearing this piece. Loved pairing it with a necklace that I also rented from RTR

Pretty and well constructed dress. Nice thick material but not heavy which allowed me to not have to wear a bra. Liked the volume on the bottom and was comfortable all night 

Dress was a little heavier fabric than expected. Lots of compliments. Love the hi-low 2 tone colored hemline!! 

Because there was a range of formality, I thought a hi-low hemline would be perfect and suit both categories! I receiving tons of compliments all night, even from complete strangers. The dress itself is very comfortable, but I did find the back to be a bit long on me (5'4"). I paired it with some nude stilettos and would certainly recommend wearing heels in order for the length to be comfortable. If you wear this dress, you're guaranteed to be one of the best dressed in the room. It's a head-turner!

I'm so glad I picked this, I got so many complements! It's defiantly worth it.

I really did love this dress.  It fit pretty much true to size but the bodice was very fitted.  For a plus size girl, made it difficult to keep the waist in place when sitting.  Also, if you have bigger hips, it didn't lay perfectly in the back.  I had to be sure to pull it down to right spot everytime I stood up.  That's why I gave it 4 stars.  But otherwise, got a ton of compliments and fit well.

Material is a little heavier.  It does dip low in the back but I was able to go braless since the bodice was so fitted.  I'm a D cup and can never go braless usually.

This was my first time using RTR and I will do it again!

Perfection. Wore to a black-tie optional wedding in NYC. So many compliments -- one girl actually said I was best dressed after the bride! I was able to wear a normal bra (since I could push down the back a little and it was navy blue). I loved it with the necklace too!! So classy.

I recommend this dress.  The high/low unique and I got so many compliments on the dress.

The Monique gown fit her great!  Lovely flowing back and complimented her figure!!  Love the color too!!

I was so excited to receive this dress. We had a fancier wedding to go to, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew it's the one I wanted! I'm usually a size 0, but got both the 0R and 2R just in case (I'm a C cup, so you never know). The dresses arrived on time, and they're just as gorgeous in person as they are online. I have to say though, the fabric isn't as shiny/reflective as it seems online—in real life the fabric is a lot more matte. It's also a lot heavier than I expected, which didn't bother me. The fit is a little large, but still beautiful. I absolutely LOVE that it has pockets! I got compliments all night long, and was extremely satisfied. :)

only issue is that i ate a bunch of food and the top portion became tight

This was my first time trying rent the runway and I absolutely fell in love with this dress. It is very flattering and my favorite detail...it has pockets!! I would totally rent this again or a similar style. True to size. 

I'm 5'6 and the dress was not to long with heels on. I ordered a 6R and received the 8R as a back up. The 6R fit perfect, I LOVE that the dress had pockets. Very elegant and comfortable. 

Wore for a black tie wedding in FL in Feb. This was my first RTR experience over two years ago. Got so many compliments on this unique dress! 

The dress fit beautifully and try to size. It was elegant and gorgeous.

Excellent dress.  The boning in the bodice on one side was bent by the armpit.  It poked a bit when I tried it on, but I didn't notice it at the event.  The dress was very comfortable and the length was great for me with 3.75" heels.  Even when I kicked them off later in the evening, the back dragged, but not to the point of annoyance.  Pockets were great to have.  I can't say enough about dresses with pockets.  I received numerous compliments on the dress, which was, thankfully, the only RTR of its kind at the event.  I ordered a 10R in the black spiderweb version of this dress because a 10R in this dress was not available at the time I placed my order.  At home, the 8R was a touch tight in the bust and the 10R was a touch big in the bust and the waist.  For the event, I went with the 8R, which fit perfectly.  Perhaps I was bloated when I tried them on at home.

This was an amazing dress - received compliments all night long. I wore it for my final med school winter ball. It fit great through the bust - I'm small chested, and probably wouldn't have needed a bra, but opted to wear a NuBra anyway for a little extra shape. I ordered a 2, which actually fit great, but ended up wearing my backup size (the 0) because it fit a little better in the chest and was a little shorter. The dress is quite full in the skirt, but that's what I was going for. It's also longer in the back than I thought it would be - I'm 5'5", wore 4" heels, and it hung JUST above the ground. The pockets were awesome to have to stash my phone in all night. The hi-low design really does make you feel like a princess, especially when walking down a staircase. It was the perfect dress to close out medical school! 

Fit was a little snug through the waist, but otherwise perfect. Very heavy fabric, so the few wrinkles from shipping hung out overnight. The pockets MADE the dress. Such a great first experience with RTR!

I needed something beautiful, formal, but professional. This fit the bill perfectly. My students loved the dress. I'm short 5'1" and this midi length dress was still flattering. It has pockets! 

Most definitely fit true to size. I ordered a size 6 and size 8; I ended up wearing the size 6. My only problem area with this dress was through the chest/ribcage. The size 6 was a tad snug, but the size 8 was too loose. Overall, this dress was amazing! I loved it and was sad to have to return it after my event. I received so many compliments throughout the night. The most beautiful blue and flattering style!

I loved this dress!! It was a little bit more expensive than the dresses I usually rent, but so worth it. This fit me perfectly and the color was stunning on me, pictures do not do it justice. I wore this to the wedding of a close family friend and received compliments all night long- even the bride loved it! The dress fit me perfectly in the waist and there was plenty of room in the hips. The bust and arms were just a tiny bit loose on me- I did find it challenging to keep a bra concealed as the back was just a bit to low and the straps moved just a bit too much- but was able to go without and it was not an issues. This dress did only have one pocket- any pocket is better than none but I was surprised to only find one. It also arrived with a bit of an odd smell but I removed it from the bag immediately and let it air out overnight and it was fine. This dress arrived very wrinkled-probably due to the volume of the skirt being stuffed into a garment bag- so be prepared to press or steam it before your event! If you are thinking about renting this dress, do it! You won't be disappointed! 

Dress was really nice and the cut was comfortable. Pockets were a bonus!

Overall, I liked this dress - the color, the hem, the fabric. The fabric is thick (which was great b/c it's still freezing in NYC in May), and I was happily surprised by a layer of tulle to give it some shape in the skirt. Con: I'm very small chested, and I thought it was too big up top. Also had to wear a NuBra instead of a regular bra because of the V in the back (not a con, just a tip). I also recommend having a necklace to wear with it. I rented some very pretty Alexis Bitter earrings but couldn't wear them because once I put the dress on, I realized it needed a necklace and I didn't have one to match the earrings, so I had to go to plan B.

This dress has a beautiful cut for anyone trying to hide their hips/back-side. The images make it look more sheen/silk than it is to the eye. You definitely need a plunge bra or else it'll peek out a little bit. 

This was a phenomenal dress!!! I honestly had no idea what size I am so I ordered one hoping it would fit and it did perfectly! No spanx needed which was nice. I was able to wear a normal bra although I could have gone without. It is a bit poofy which I enjoyed but others may not. The pockets helped so much! If you are in between sizes I would go a size down. Covered my belly and hips very well! I'm 5'9" and 215 lbs

A perfect dress for a wedding that has blue colors. The classic fit is simple, but completes turns heads because of the unique flair in the back. 

Loved this dress it is gorgeous but the top was too tight on my breasts, I needed one size up and it would've been fine, will rent in bigger size in the future 

Rented for a fundraiser, lots of compliments, felt halfway between being princess and a movie star.  Fit perfectly, nice, thick fabric, did not wear a bra.  Could have planned shoes a little better, thankfully had a nude pair that was okay.  Length was fine at 5'4" + 3" heels.  Added sparkly necklace.  Even had pockets.  My profile won't update, but I was between 130-135 when picture was taken.  LOVED wearing this dress.

It's extremely comfortable and hid my postpartum belly without looking bunchy. With 4+" heels, the back fell about 2 inches from the floor. I received compliments all night! I rented the necklace as well and it was the perfect way to complete the look.

I wore this dress for my last Law Prom. When it comes to dresses, I usually range from a size 6-10 (depending on how tight the bust is), but this dress was a perfect in a size 8. It is very forgiving in the bust and waist. I was worried that the hi-low hem would be too long in the back (as I'm 5'3"), but the length was perfect with 3-4 inch heels. I felt gorgeous in this dress and could really move in it on the dance floor ;-) The navy and royal blue really pop, too! I will *absolutely* be renting this dress in the future.

Fabric was not at all what I expected but ended up being quite comfortable. The arm holes were a bit annoying due to the material and was the only uncomfortable part of the dress. Otherwise great fit and perfect for my event. 

This dress was GORGEOUS. I rented for my fiance's law school ball and it was perfect. The color is fantastic for winter/early spring. The hi-low cut is amazing for looking formal yet still being able to dance the night away. I got tons of compliments on this piece - it is a bold, classic gown. The bodice is very well structured (so if you eat you don't feel like it shows!) and I didn't need to wear a bra. The shoulders were a teensy bit big but not enough to be bothersome. It was very hard to send back!

I wore this dress to a formal/semi-formal wedding at a beachfront hotel resort in March, so not the easiest event to dress for but this dress fit the bill perfectly! It is classy but still playful with the hi-low hem. I got a 4 and a 6 to try and ended up wearing the 6. The 4 fit better up top but was a bit tight through the waist, and the 6 fit more comfortably in the waist but was a bit loose up top. With dinner and dancing I didn't want to be in a too tight dress so I think the 6 was the right choice.

I felt like a million bucks all night and even the bride and her mother commented on how much they liked the dress. I hope that RTR keeps this one around so I can find another event to rent it for!

I have a short torso, so while the 0 fit better around my waist, the 2P had shorter straps. Both were in beautiful condition and I was happy to wear either!

The boobs barely fit but I squeezed into it anyway. It does fit snug in the rib cage. I absolutely loved it and felt beautiful in it. I got compliments all night on this dress! 

Dress was fun and very comfortable all night. Great for those w large chest Bc it has good coverage. Got lots of compliments !
