Marine Layer is always a fav brand for comfortable everyday wear. Lightweight cotton dress with pockets? Yes, please. The gathered waist in the back adds the right amount of fit without making it uncomfortable. Wore this around Sarasota, Florida in 90+ degree heat and it was incredibly comfortable. It’s more of a really dark grey than a true black. I’m definitely keeping this one for the summer and will likely purchase. I paired it with the Furla Raffia crossbody from RTR and an oversized button-down shirt when indoors.

Not too long for my petite frame! Has a hook and eye above the buttons for extra coverage and all the buttons are functional, could potentially used as a layering piece. Received tons of compliments.

Wore the heck out of this dress! Initially got it in a large but was way too big in the bust. Medium was a perfect fit. Super flattering, great for hot weather

Can definitely dress up or down. I felt it needed either a wide belt or a scarf. I wore it over my bathing suit while spending the day on a boat. 

Smaller in the chest area. But otherwise, it was comfortable

Bras shows in it and it wrinkles easily but otherwise loved the dress so much, I nearly bought it.

Marine Layer always hits. This dress is a gorgeous charcoal with a flattering fit. I'm 5'0" and I was able to wear it with flats. I almost purchased it as a closet staple.

Easy to wear a dress seriously could wear for almost any day-to-day occasion or event.
