Marine Layer is always a fav brand for comfortable everyday wear. Lightweight cotton dress with pockets? Yes, please. The gathered waist in the back adds the right amount of fit without making it uncomfortable. Wore this around Sarasota, Florida in 90+ degree heat and it was incredibly comfortable. It’s more of a really dark grey than a true black. I’m definitely keeping this one for the summer and will likely purchase. I paired it with the Furla Raffia crossbody from RTR and an oversized button-down shirt when indoors.

Not too long for my petite frame! Has a hook and eye above the buttons for extra coverage and all the buttons are functional, could potentially used as a layering piece. Received tons of compliments.
