The detailing on the dress was super pretty.  It fit fairly well and wasn't too long for my size.

Perfect fit, flattering, GORGEOUS beading

Fit: Hugged all the right places and was comfortable. I usually wear a size 4 and ordered a 2 as backup, but luckily the 4 fit perfectly because RTR ran out of size 2 after I ordered it!
Pros: Really form-fitting dress with nice thick material. I loved the length of the short sleeve, and where the length hit at the knee. Love the sheer panel across the chest too!
Cons: I ordered this for a wedding but ended up wearing a replacement dress instead because I thought the scale of the lace pattern made me look older than I intended. The color also felt brighter in real life, than the dark navy shown on the model. I might rent again, but for a more formal event. 

I'd discovered via RTR before this designer fits me beautifully off the rack and this dress was no exception. It was a little more conservative than I usually wear, but I got tons of compliments from my friends nonetheless. 

I found the lace and trim up top to be a little restrictive - was worried about putting my arms up dancing, but otherwise fine. 

The blue of this dress was gorgeous! It was not quite navy, but not quite royal either--I would say somewhere in between, leaning a bit more towards navy. The cut was very fitted and flattering, which is why I selected "runs small;" the waist is quite tight. I got many compliments while wearing this dress, both from other chaperones and students at the prom. The only complaint that I had was that the top eye hook clasp was continually coming undone. Overall, beautiful detailing and very unique! 

So I read the reviews and everyone was saying that it ran big in the top area and to order down in size. I found it to be opposite. Normally I am a 6 but was going to order an 8 to be safe. However, everyone said it ran large so I got a 6 and a 4. Well...I didn't even try the 4 because I could barely just get into the 6. I have a 34D chest, small rib cage/waist and large hips and big booty. I mean, once I got it zipped pasted the chest area it fit like a glove. Even though my boobs were a little smashed, I was very comfortable in it. I was planning on wearing a strapless bra that sticks on your boobs...but there was absolutely no room.  Thank goodness I didn't need it. The fabric is very nice and thick so I didn't feel insecure about anything showing. Also the color I posted is not filtered and this is the true color of the dress with natural sunlight hitting it ...not dark navy. I knew that about the color based on other reviews. I felt so beautiful and multiple women came up to me and told me how stunning I looked and they loved the dress. I definitely recommend this dress for hour glass figures. I don't think it looks as stunning on straight up and down bodies. I am VERY happy with this rental. 

One of my favorite RTR dresses to date! It is simply elegant. The bodice, the structure, the material, it is all so regal. Everyone fell in love with this dress and I wish to rent it again. Glamorous and elegant all summed up in this one dress!

The dress fit but was definitely a little tight in all areas. I think I would have liked one size bigger since it was meant to be a fitted dress. There was a small tear in the lace and the hanger was broken when it arrived, this might have happened during shipping. The dress was appropriate for the event I wore it for, but I would not have liked it for a formal event. 

This dress was so nice. Color was beautiful and comfortable!! I highly recommend!!!

I wore this for a fall wedding and at the end of the night I didn't want to take the dress off.  The illusion neckline was so beautiful with the lace and beading and the fit was perfect.  I ended up going with the 0, but did order a 2 as well for a backup size just in case, as I sometimes need more room in the hips.  The dress was very comfortable to dance in and didn't get too hot.  I would wear this dress again!

The dress was beautiful. I really liked all the bead work. The fit was great, I usually wear a size 2 and the size 2 fit just perfect. I had read about the tan lining popping out at the bottom of the dress in other reviews and it did with the size 2 but not the size 4 which was my other size. It wasn't a big deal for me because the lace still covered it. 

This is a gorgeous dress!  I received lots of compliments all night. It runs a little small and the zipper was a little tricky. You will definitely need someone to assist with zipping-up. I had to go 1 size up but other than that I love everything about the dress.  This is my second rental and I've been impressed both times. I will be renting again for future events. 

Highly highly recommend this dress! So beautiful! The detail is amazing! Fits like a glove and received endless compliments! 

This dress is my favorite I've ever rented from RTR. It looked great, it was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments! You can't go wrong with this one!

Perfect summer dress for a garden/vineyard wedding.  Fit was snug but manageable on the dance floor.  

I adored this dress and wished I didn't have to send it back. I think this is my favorite dress I've ever rented from RTR. Both the 4 and the 6 fit very well but I opted for the larger size as this was a work-related formal event and I wanted it to be a bit looser. Very comfortable length. I got so many compliments on it all night long. 

I am probably between a 2 and 4 and tried to order both but only the 2 was available.  With a waist minimizer, I was able to wear it comfortably and a 4 would have been too large.  Between the dress and the earrings, I had a great outfit for a wonderful day.


Thankfully this dress runs true to size since the 4 was the only size available. it fit perfectly. There is some give so I still had some room. This dress was absolutely beautiful. I didn't understand what everyone was saying about the lining, but they were right.  The lining at the bottom is 2 sided. The underside is neutral but when it shows you can see it through the lace, but I am sure I am the only one that noticed. I got a trillion compliments and apparently navy lace is very in for this wedding season so watch out if you really want to stand out. For reference I am 5'8", 145 lbs, 34A. 

I loved, LOVED this dress. The size 6 fit me perfectly, I typically wear a 4-6. I received so many compliments, I didn't want the night to end! I was over the moon with my selection as well as everything with RTR, would definitely recommend.

Both the 4 and 6 fit me .. I ended up wearing the 6 to have a little extra room for dinner ;)

This dress was a little stiff, but it was so beautiful I didn't mind. I was still able to dance the night away at an Indian Wedding!

I loved the dress and received many compliments. It runs a bit small, so I wore the backup size 6. Size 4 felt snug around the tummy when I sat down. I am 5' 0", and the dress fell at the calf level, working well as a tea-length dress. RTR also offers this in mustard color (my first choice), but it wasn't available in my size. I like this dress enough to rent the other color next time!

Such a beautiful dress. The length was perfect. Loved the sleeves and lace detail. No stretch at all. I really could've worn an 8 because it was a bit tight in the bust and hips... but it wasn't available. Read the reviews beforehand so I was prepared. Worn with nude heels. Definitely renting from RTR again! I love this website because it is really convenient for someone like me who does not like wearing the same thing twice to big events. My only regret is that I wish I could have bought this dress and kept it! lol

The fit was great. I was a little nervous because I have a booty from crossfit and I have more muscular arms as well. I did wear spanx with the dress just so everything stayed smooth and went on effortlessly. The color was great and it's the first time I have ever actually worn navy to an event. It was so on trend right now, yet I looked completely different then the rest of the wedding guests. I was really happy and definitely will be renting again!

This dress fit perfectly. It hugged my curves without being tight or constricting. But it was also elegant and classy for a high-end benefit in New York. I felt great wearing it.

Pros - very elegant loved the color and it's pretty true to size I wear a 4/6 and opted for the 4 because it was a better fit.
The lace wasn't scratchy at all
The intricate beading work is an added plus 

Cons - I don't like the nude Piece that hangs at the bottom 
The top clasp kept coming apart at the top 

Beautiful dress, but it felt a little "old" for the vent I was attending.  I opted for a more fun, flirty Nha Kahn style.  

Loved this dress so much ! I wore it for my cousins wedding and it was classy and got a lot of compliments.  I wore the size 6 and felt it was true to size as I have a larger bottom and it fit perfectly.  The only problem I had with it was the under layer kept flipping up so you'd see the beige through the navy dress.  Other than that it was classy and fabulous!

Based on reviews I was able to select my proper size.  I ordered the size 4 and 6.  I ended up wearing the size 6 and it fit me perfectly.  The size 4 dress had a problem with the lining which fell below the dress fabric hem which was unacceptable for me as this should not show.  The size 6 fit me perfect so no problems there.  I received the dress on time in order to get my accessories.  I have a 36C/D bust and was able to wear this dress without a bra due to the cut of the dress.  It fit like a glove, however there is no stretch to the fabric so be true to your size.  Also no slip required as the lining of the dress was wonderful.  Only under-garment required was your typical panties.  I received non-stop compliments from the moment I put the dress on until I took it off, and even complete strangers stopped me and complimented.  It was a hit!  This was my first time using RTR and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  This dress received reviews that it was a bit matronly?  I disagree with this as this dressed screamed elegance, class, perfection, tasteful, and just plain beauty.  Yes, I am probably considered older, however due to my body type, I can wear whatever I want.  If you want to be both comfortable and beautiful along with being a class-act too, don't hesitate to order this gorgeous dress.

Got so many compliments on this dress! For true to size, was comfortable, classy, and a great navy color! Loved it! 

Overall this dress was a hit for the wedding I attended. The dress is pretty comfortable. As for fit, I would say if anything it runs a little small. I usually wear an 8 which I could have worn with spanx but decided to go with the 10 and be a little more comfortable. I rented the dress in yellow as well and was torn on which color to wear! The only complaint I have about the dress is the lining of the dress kept rolling up underneath it to show the nude color. You can slightly see it in this photo. It wasn't a huge deal though. I WOULD NOT wear this at a summer wedding. The dress does not breathe as well as some other dresses might! 

I'm normally a 2 but that size in this dress was a little loose on me . Not overly large but the 0 fit better.

The dress fit very well. I'm normally a 4 or 6 and ended up going with the 6. I absolutely loved the color and couldn't have had a better experience. 

I prefer wearing a dress that is 100% comfort.  This dress fits that requirement.
I LOVED everything about this dress and received many many compliments.

The fit of this dress is true to size and even though there is a high lace collar it wasn't restricting at all. Easy to sit in and dance in. I was sad to have to return it because I loved it so much. I highly recommend this dress.

The fit was perfect, and fit like a glove! True to size and hit right at my knees which was great since I am very short and petite.
