Wore this as a bridesmaid to my friends wedding who told us we could pick anything in gray or blue. I was complimented 20+ times throughout the night. The dress is comfortable and super flattering. RTR did a solid for me, too. When the dress came, there was a problem with the zipper. I called in a panic, hoping they had another size six and they did! RTR overnighted me the dress and it zipped!! The dress ran true to size and was one of those dresses you can wear all day without it being wrinkled or stretched out by the end of the evening, so it was perfect for an all-day event. It is such an elegant and unique dress too--I received compliments all night!

I'm 5'1 and petite, so it is very difficult for me to find formal dresses. I am never able to wear floor length dresses without getting them hemmed. The dress is form-fitting, very flattering, and the perfect length (right past the knee). I highly recommend this dress!

The dress fit like a glove! I ordered a size 0 and 2 since I vary depending on the dress and the 0 fit perfectly. I was afraid of the length since I am so short but it worked out well! The dress was a hit and I would definitely recommend it!

The dress fit very well and looked great on. As noted by other reviewers, it doesn't stretch at all so you want to get the right size. I was concerned it would be tight in the bust but it wasn't and I was able to wear a strapless bra with it.

Such a beautiful dress and extremely well made. I originally rented the 6 because that's all that was available but it was too tight. I called and they shipped me the size 8 right away. The detail is so gorgeous and the bride kept telling me how much she loved my dress.

The fit was true to size. There is no elasticity or stretch, so if you are in between sizes def get 2 sizes to check out.

I have a VERY large chest (36-J) , so I was leary about ordering a rental dress without being able to do alterations. It was a great fit though. The material was substantial enough that I was actually able to wear the dress without a bra or corset like I'm used to. Thank God because it was an outdoor wedding in Charleston and everyone was melting! The corset would have made me faint! The zipper was a little tricky to get zipped up, but put some gusto into it and you'll be fine...those zippers always seem to cause a bit of trouble and it has nothing to do with size. If you want to feel like a million bucks, definitely rent this. It is a much richer, brighter blue than is shown (think regal, royal, cobalt blue) which complemented my red hair perfectly!

Wore smaller size, fit great. Perfect for evening wedding!

This dress is perfection! I received more compliments in one night than I've ever received in my life. The color, cut, style is spot on. I'm normally between a 2-4, but if you're a solid 4 it should fit well (I had some wiggle room).

Tried this dress out for my cousin's wedding but the 8 was a bit too tight. Size up if you're not quite sure. It looked good but I would have been sucking it in all night. It is quite beautiful though!

This dress was a beautiful style and color- perfect for a very conservative wedding I attended. However, the zipper was a nightmare. You definitely cannot zip it up on your own. At first, I thought it was just too small of a size. I tried on the larger size and that one had the same issue. My husband and a friend had to zip me into the smaller size, which was tight in the rib cage at first ( I am a 38DDD) but the dress for beautifully after everything was in place and I received endless compliments all night

The dress was very tight around my rib cage, and very form fitting. Took a while to get comfortable but loves the lace and sleeves.

Runs tighter in the waist and a little looser up top, and I'm a 34D, but otherwise a great fit. Not too short, not too long, was perfect for a wedding. I felt feminine and sophisticated and fun. Exactly what I wanted!

The fit was a little snug, got two sizes and had to wear the larger of the two. the color of the nude illusion neckline wasn't exactly the the shade of my skin tone, so it looked a little off. It's a much more extravagant dress than it looks like, but was alright for an evening wedding. I might have elected for something a little more summery, if I could do it over.

Feminine, orgeous lace sheath hugs my curves and remains tastefully classic! It fit true to size and skimed a couple inches above the knee. Wore it with nude patent kitten heels. Felt wonderfully beautiful in it! Another successful RTR experience-I'm hooked!

At first I thought this dress was too matronly. But my engagement pictures looked beautiful! The details are intricate! If you are in between sizes you might go for the lower one!

The dress fit great everywhere except where u button it in the back by the back of your neck with the mesh. It was a bit bunchy but my hair hid that well.

I wear dresses between and 8 and 12. This is a form fitting dress so I needed the 12 through my hips. The color is a deep blue almost purple in color. It needs no embellishment but chandelier earrings are perfect to show off the wonderful details at the shoulders. I did find that the hook and eyes at the back top of the dress, came undone several times during the evening, and that was a bit annoying , but other than that...it was a gorgeous and unusual dress.

This is a pretty dress that feels very expensive (i.e. worth the price of the rental). The photo doesn't do the detailing justice and I wish I had taken a better photo of the neckline. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best fit for my body so I did not wear it, and I felt it was a better dress for a woman in her 40s or 50s who wants a pretty detailed dress, but nothing too flashy. If you are tall and want a long dress, this is a good dress to wear. I'd imagine it would be too long for girls under 5'5, but to each her own. I have wide shoulders and this dress didn't do me any favors. The material is thick -ish, so it's nice that it doesn't show all your flaws. If you are hourglass, they dress fits very nicely to show your curves. The size 6 was a little big (I go between a 4 and 6) so maybe size down for your backup size.

The detailing on the dress was super pretty. It fit fairly well and wasn't too long for my size.

Perfect fit, flattering, GORGEOUS beading

So I read the reviews and everyone was saying that it ran big in the top area and to order down in size. I found it to be opposite. Normally I am a 6 but was going to order an 8 to be safe. However, everyone said it ran large so I got a 6 and a 4. Well...I didn't even try the 4 because I could barely just get into the 6. I have a 34D chest, small rib cage/waist and large hips and big booty. I mean, once I got it zipped pasted the chest area it fit like a glove. Even though my boobs were a little smashed, I was very comfortable in it. I was planning on wearing a strapless bra that sticks on your boobs...but there was absolutely no room. Thank goodness I didn't need it. The fabric is very nice and thick so I didn't feel insecure about anything showing. Also the color I posted is not filtered and this is the true color of the dress with natural sunlight hitting it ...not dark navy. I knew that about the color based on other reviews. I felt so beautiful and multiple women came up to me and told me how stunning I looked and they loved the dress. I definitely recommend this dress for hour glass figures. I don't think it looks as stunning on straight up and down bodies. I am VERY happy with this rental.

One of my favorite RTR dresses to date! It is simply elegant. The bodice, the structure, the material, it is all so regal. Everyone fell in love with this dress and I wish to rent it again. Glamorous and elegant all summed up in this one dress!

I wore this for a fall wedding and at the end of the night I didn't want to take the dress off. The illusion neckline was so beautiful with the lace and beading and the fit was perfect. I ended up going with the 0, but did order a 2 as well for a backup size just in case, as I sometimes need more room in the hips. The dress was very comfortable to dance in and didn't get too hot. I would wear this dress again!

The dress was beautiful. I really liked all the bead work. The fit was great, I usually wear a size 2 and the size 2 fit just perfect. I had read about the tan lining popping out at the bottom of the dress in other reviews and it did with the size 2 but not the size 4 which was my other size. It wasn't a big deal for me because the lace still covered it.

This is a gorgeous dress! I received lots of compliments all night. It runs a little small and the zipper was a little tricky. You will definitely need someone to assist with zipping-up. I had to go 1 size up but other than that I love everything about the dress. This is my second rental and I've been impressed both times. I will be renting again for future events.

Perfect summer dress for a garden/vineyard wedding. Fit was snug but manageable on the dance floor.

I adored this dress and wished I didn't have to send it back. I think this is my favorite dress I've ever rented from RTR. Both the 4 and the 6 fit very well but I opted for the larger size as this was a work-related formal event and I wanted it to be a bit looser. Very comfortable length. I got so many compliments on it all night long.

I am probably between a 2 and 4 and tried to order both but only the 2 was available. With a waist minimizer, I was able to wear it comfortably and a 4 would have been too large. Between the dress and the earrings, I had a great outfit for a wonderful day.

Thankfully this dress runs true to size since the 4 was the only size available. it fit perfectly. There is some give so I still had some room. This dress was absolutely beautiful. I didn't understand what everyone was saying about the lining, but they were right. The lining at the bottom is 2 sided. The underside is neutral but when it shows you can see it through the lace, but I am sure I am the only one that noticed. I got a trillion compliments and apparently navy lace is very in for this wedding season so watch out if you really want to stand out. For reference I am 5'8", 145 lbs, 34A.

I loved, LOVED this dress. The size 6 fit me perfectly, I typically wear a 4-6. I received so many compliments, I didn't want the night to end! I was over the moon with my selection as well as everything with RTR, would definitely recommend.

Both the 4 and 6 fit me .. I ended up wearing the 6 to have a little extra room for dinner ;)
