I agree with other reviewers though that the nude “under layer” is much darker than in pictures and doesn’t quite lay right. It was a little puckered and ultimately I did not wear this dress.  Fits well though if you are large in the chest area.  

I went to a church conference and it was very modest and very high quality.

Comfortable, fit well, seemed quality and fun idea, but……  to me the dress was pretty unflattering and almost dowdy looking (odd for a lace dress). It had a strange “boxy” look to it that didn’t work well on my figure. Maybe for someone curvier it would work. I didn’t wear it. 

As most of reviews have said...this dress does run big.  I typically wear a size 6-8, but I could have easily worn a 4 in this dress.  I wore the 6.  It worked but the lining bunched up a little due to it being a little large.  
The color of this dress is really beautiful.  The unique hemline makes this a standout.  
I would rent this again for sure!

Love this dress! I’ve now rented it twice to attend different weddings over the years. The color is beautiful - sort of a burgundy color with tan underneath. I wore nude colored shoes.  I wore a regular bra but the straps showed through a little bit (crochet lace in the dress). The dress is super comfortable and has a little stretch to it. Received many compliments. 

Under the lace is a nude slip-- very sleek. Lace is very cool

Only complaint is that it didn't hide my stomach well. I loved the color and the asymmetrical hem! 

Very pretty, feminine and classy dress that came out of my suitcase ready to wear. The material had just enough stretch/cling to fit well and flatter. 

I rented this as a backup for a black tie optional event I was attending. While it looked beautiful in pictures, I didn't love it on and chose a different option. It was more form fitting than I prefer even in a size up from what I usually wear. Also, if you are clumsy this is not a good choice. The fabric seemed very delicate and I was worried I would get caught on something and rip it. Definitely a beautiful option for those looking for a form fitting dress and aren't clumsy! 

Super comfortable, photographs well., I work a regular nude bra and some slimming items.  I may have been able to wear an 8.  Nice stretch.  Very flattering and forgiving.

The color is more purple than red, I loved it. It runs a bit large and with this dress a fitted look is better

It fits great and hugs you in all the right places. I was even able to dance our traditional dances in it without  tripping! Would rent this dress again!

Loved the asymmetrical length. It is comfortable yet dressed up perfect for the wedding. 

This dress was very comfortable and the fit was great! 

The material was definitely flexible, but the outer lace part was definitely worn. Certain spots had small rips from the top layer being pulled on. Was still beautiful and the color was better than pictured. 

I rented this dress for a summer church wedding. I received a lot of compliments on this dress and loved it. I didn't want to return it! The asymmetrical headline and the pretty lace detail made it unique, but still very appropriate. The nude lining made the dress very comfortable. I would absolutely rent this dress again.

This dress was so fun to wear, lots of compliments and if I could purchase this dress, I would! I was worries about the length since I have short legs. But the length was just fine with even small high heels. The color is like a rich wine and the lace is soft! I was able to wear a normal nude color bra. This dress was perfect for my work holiday party in January :) I will for sure rent this dress again! It hugs all the right curves for an hourglass figure.

Loved the dress.  Great fit, super comfortable, got tons of compliments.  Only issue: the lining which rode up.  With an open lace body, this was anxiety producing.  While sitting at the ceremony, I noticed the lining was up all the way to my waist and my Spanx were showing.  I sized down because the dress runs big and now I am wondering if I sticking with the larger size would have been helpful.  All that said, I would absolutely rent this dress again.  

Wow...I have to say that for my first rental, this was a definitely a Winner. Very comfortable and flattering to my classic Pear sharp. I got compliments all day long and danced the night away. I’m short and the length was perfect.  The color was the main reason for my choice. Take a chance on this one. My first pic is with no shape wear but still flattering when it’s all smoothed out.






I rented this dress for a September wedding. I felt this it ran bigger than normal, so I was able to size down. I liked the length, but I did notice the lace got caught on things every so often. I got many compliments. The reason why this dress gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because I felt like the lining color didn't match my skin tone and I also felt this the lining underneath made my midsection look bigger than it really is. 

The 0 fit well on the hips and top but the waist seemed stretched out. It still fit well and wasn't too noticeable. 

Ended up not wearing since it was a little too heavy for the 90 degree day.  Dress was beautiful but a little too long and almost made me feel maternal.

The dresses showed up a day late, so I was worried, but everything fit great. I felt so beautiful and recieved a ton of compliments. The dress was really comfortable too. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the lace overlay is very delicate. It actually showed up with a small section broken. Luckily it wasn't noticeable. Would definitely recommend this dress though. 

The dress was everything I expected and wanted for a early Fall wedding. The color was beautiful and the fit was very comfortable. I wore flats with the dress, and the asymmetrical cut created an edgy and appealing look.  I had selected to pick up at the Chicago RTR store to try it on, and the 18R actually fit like a glove, but found a big snag in the lace so unfortunately had to wear the larger size, even though the smaller one fit wonderfully (but it wasn't that much of a size difference). 

My size fluctuates wildly between designers but never has a 0 been too big! It was baggy at the waist which made me lost my shape. The length was all the way down to my angle which was not as chic as I had hoped. Beautiful color and comfortable.

Wore this for a gala and it was comfortable, true to size, and perfect. I received tons of compliments and loved wearing this dress!

This dress fit true to size and I got SO many compliments.  The material wasn't tight, so I was able to sit and eat at the wedding I attended without feeling stuffed lol. 

I've been a RTR member since it's beginning. I rented this dress for my brother-in-law's graduation. Needless to say this dress outshined everyone else's. Received many compliments on the style, fabric, color. Will rent again in the future! 

Fit really well, actually could have sized down a size but I belted it to make it work. Got lots of compliments all night about how well I matched the wedding colors :)

The dress was amazing.....very comfortable and easy to move in. The color was a deep wine, which was perfect for me, since it matched the colors of the event itself. 

Dress fit really well and hit me in a flattering place. Another rental looked better for the occasion, but I did really like this dress!

Summary - Highly recommend, would definitely rent again or even buy this dress.
I wasn't sure what size to order since I just had a baby (okay he is 10 months old, but still!).  Pre-baby I would usually wear a 4.  Originally when I went to order the dress I was going to order a 4 and a 6.  I am glad I read the reviews.  It definitely runs large, which is a great boast to your ego.  I ended up wearing a 2 COMFORTABLY to the event.  For us "shorties" it is a bit long on the tampered hem.  So the sample pic shows it several inches above the ankle.  Mine was right at the ankle.  Not ideal, if I was buying the dress I would have had it altered, but for a 1 time wear, not a deal breaker.   

Fit was amazing, little big in some areas. Renting a size 10 and 8.. usually wear a 10 and o ended up going with the 8. Best part was the comfort. Would recommend!
