As most of reviews have said...this dress does run big. I typically wear a size 6-8, but I could have easily worn a 4 in this dress. I wore the 6. It worked but the lining bunched up a little due to it being a little large. The color of this dress is really beautiful. The unique hemline makes this a standout. I would rent this again for sure!

Wow...I have to say that for my first rental, this was a definitely a Winner. Very comfortable and flattering to my classic Pear sharp. I got compliments all day long and danced the night away. I’m short and the length was perfect. The color was the main reason for my choice. Take a chance on this one. My first pic is with no shape wear but still flattering when it’s all smoothed out.

At the time of photo, I was 5'8, 175 lbs. I normally wear RTR 14 because of my full bust and shoulders. Based on reviews I ordered the 12 and it fit perfectly. Lace is beautiful although I agree with a couple of the reviewers that it is a deep purple color outside in daylight. The length may also swallow up some petite gals as the longest portion of the asymmetrical hem hit mt right above my ankle bone. Very comfortable dress with stretch. Received lots of complements!

Comfortable fit and beautiful color. Liked the length. Although it is short sleeved, it was warm for a cold night. Made for a fun fancy evening!

Wore the 18, easy fit, so I didn't even try on the 16. Strapless bra is the best. Very high neck on the dress. Great length and color. Always tons of compliments

The color was so warm and beautiful. The fit was true to size, maybe slightly large up top. Loved the hem, made it just a little different.

Love this dress! I’ve now rented it twice to attend different weddings over the years. The color is beautiful - sort of a burgundy color with tan underneath. I wore nude colored shoes. I wore a regular bra but the straps showed through a little bit (crochet lace in the dress). The dress is super comfortable and has a little stretch to it. Received many compliments.

Super comfortable, photographs well., I work a regular nude bra and some slimming items. I may have been able to wear an 8. Nice stretch. Very flattering and forgiving.

It fits great and hugs you in all the right places. I was even able to dance our traditional dances in it without tripping! Would rent this dress again!

I agree with other reviewers though that the nude “under layer” is much darker than in pictures and doesn’t quite lay right. It was a little puckered and ultimately I did not wear this dress. Fits well though if you are large in the chest area.

Only complaint is that it didn't hide my stomach well. I loved the color and the asymmetrical hem!

The color is more purple than red, I loved it. It runs a bit large and with this dress a fitted look is better

The material was definitely flexible, but the outer lace part was definitely worn. Certain spots had small rips from the top layer being pulled on. Was still beautiful and the color was better than pictured.

I rented this as a backup for a black tie optional event I was attending. While it looked beautiful in pictures, I didn't love it on and chose a different option. It was more form fitting than I prefer even in a size up from what I usually wear. Also, if you are clumsy this is not a good choice. The fabric seemed very delicate and I was worried I would get caught on something and rip it. Definitely a beautiful option for those looking for a form fitting dress and aren't clumsy!

Comfortable, fit well, seemed quality and fun idea, but…… to me the dress was pretty unflattering and almost dowdy looking (odd for a lace dress). It had a strange “boxy” look to it that didn’t work well on my figure. Maybe for someone curvier it would work. I didn’t wear it.

I rented this dress for a summer church wedding. I received a lot of compliments on this dress and loved it. I didn't want to return it! The asymmetrical headline and the pretty lace detail made it unique, but still very appropriate. The nude lining made the dress very comfortable. I would absolutely rent this dress again.

This dress was so fun to wear, lots of compliments and if I could purchase this dress, I would! I was worries about the length since I have short legs. But the length was just fine with even small high heels. The color is like a rich wine and the lace is soft! I was able to wear a normal nude color bra. This dress was perfect for my work holiday party in January :) I will for sure rent this dress again! It hugs all the right curves for an hourglass figure.

The 0 fit well on the hips and top but the waist seemed stretched out. It still fit well and wasn't too noticeable.

The dress was everything I expected and wanted for a early Fall wedding. The color was beautiful and the fit was very comfortable. I wore flats with the dress, and the asymmetrical cut created an edgy and appealing look. I had selected to pick up at the Chicago RTR store to try it on, and the 18R actually fit like a glove, but found a big snag in the lace so unfortunately had to wear the larger size, even though the smaller one fit wonderfully (but it wasn't that much of a size difference).

This dress fit true to size and I got SO many compliments. The material wasn't tight, so I was able to sit and eat at the wedding I attended without feeling stuffed lol.

I've been a RTR member since it's beginning. I rented this dress for my brother-in-law's graduation. Needless to say this dress outshined everyone else's. Received many compliments on the style, fabric, color. Will rent again in the future!

Fit really well, actually could have sized down a size but I belted it to make it work. Got lots of compliments all night about how well I matched the wedding colors :)

This dress was a hit! It fit perfectly almost on the larger side. A lot of “give” to the fabric. I would buy this dress in a second. I received so many compliments. This dress could be worn to any event. Beautiful color as well.

Rented this dress last minute for an outdoor party. I wasn't overly excited by it but comfortable and easy to wear. Does run large! Lots of room up top for ladies with a large chest.
