Fun for a wedding! Many asked where I got it! 

Obsessed with this dress. Wore for a friend's engagement party. A little shorter than other Lilly dresses I've worn. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to love this dress. In fact, I had seen it online months before renting it and considered buying it. I rented it to try out the size, and I'm happy I did a rental because I then decided against buying it. The dress is adorable, but the fit is a little bit odd on my body type. It is not fitted enough at the waist, which gives it a baggy appearance. The dress itself had definitely been worn as the color was not as vibrant blue as to be expected. I actually think this dress looks better in photos than it does in real life. Otherwise, it is a very cute summer dress that would be great for an outdoor event or party.

I rented this dress for our save the date photos. It was a beautiful dress but it runs very small and was very short. I am very tall (5'11") and this dress was extremely short and tight through the bust. 

I loved this dress and definitely rent it again. I work it for a summer wedding at a golf course and received so many compliments. This was my first rent the runway piece and I was impressed. The dress fit really well but was pretty short. If you are tall it might be a little too short. I have a more curvy/hourglass figure and this dress fit in all the right places. 

I loved this dress and was really scared when my usual size 8 was unavailable. Luckily the dress runs quite small and the 10 fit, although it did seem to stretch out throughout the day. The dress is a tad short, but since I am petite and was in flats it wasn't too bad. Lilly for the win!

I got this dress to wear for my birthday dinner/ other graduation parties. I had never worn a Lilly dress before so I was unsure how they were sized. I ordered a 10 based off of other reviews and photos listed on RTR. It was pretty large and baggy in the chest but was fine for the occasion. Also I am 5'2 and it was pretty short on me so if you're looking for a more modest look if you're on the taller side I wouldn't recommend this dress. Other than that, very pretty pattern- not the typical tropical Lilly print. 

Great fit, runs a little bigger. Not too tight, able to wear a strapless bra. Navy and gold colors both a little muted compared to pictures, still beautiful. 

I loved wearing this Lilly dress. it is cute and classy. the color is really nice. its short on me but I am 5'7" and wasn't so short that it was inappropriate. such a fun dress, it can be work for day or night event. I wore it to a new years eve wedding that was less formal /country theme. but this would be great for summer too. I would buy this !

Lots of compliments!  On the shorter side, good for petite girls like myself!

I rented this dress for a fall wedding. Fortunately, there is a Lily store at my local mall so I tried on a similar style to insure that I would order the correct size for me. I ordered a size down as a backup as well, but decided to go with the bigger size. The material was thicker than I had anticipated. I received plenty of compliments and I was pleased with my decision to rent this dress. 10/10

This was my first RTR order, and the dress was everything I hoped for.  Very flattering even with a large chest, although perhaps a little too sexy for a family event.  I wore this for my sisters graduation, and got tons of compliments.  Love this dress, she wanted to steal it too!

Liked the dress, I rented it for work, but it was little to short so I wore it for a night out with a jacket and booties.  

I wore this to a beach wedding in Mexico (no shoes required!) and it fit the bill great. Most people were in colorful maxi dresses, so it was nice to have something a bit different. I agree with other reviewers that the trim detail is has far more sparkle in person, but that makes it easy to wear minimal accessories - plus there is a nice mix of gold, silver, champagne and white to play with. I did not find this too short (I'm 5'6" ish), and the torso length was perfect for me, although I run a bit short in that area. Overall this skimmed the body without hugging (great for dancing and eating!) except in the chest. This was actually tight enough for me to not wear a bra, but I have a big chest. This also meant that the front V and straps gapped a bit up top, but not so much that it looked odd. Fabric was thick enough to provide structure but not heavy. It did give a bit through out the night, and showed moisture "stains" in the high humidity... fortunately something easily fixed with a hair dryer!

Perfect daytime vacation dress! Flattering fit however it was a little shorter than I hoped but not too short that I couldn't wear it. Still very happy with this rental 

I rented the size 4 and 6. The 4 fit but I had difficulty zipping it up bc of my bust size. So I wore the 6. Fit is comfortable and loose so it's very forgiving if you want to indulge in more drinks and food for the night. Pretty dress. 

It felt a little short on me in the church- the bottom fell just at my finger tips- so I kept my navy paschmina on while we were in the church. At the reception I was ready to party! I wore a minimal necklace with fun earrings and bracelets. It paired great with the flats I brought to dance in and I was comfortable the entire night! I LOVE this dress! If RTR had an option to buy out like Stitch Fix I would have! 

I wore this for my birthday dinner at a french restaurant.  It was dressy and sexy without being too formal.  I usually wear a 10/12.  This dress was only available in a 12 and it fit perfectly.  I would size up for your back-up size.

This was my first rental from Rent the Runway and I already can't wait until my next!  I received a lot of compliments on this dress.  It was perfect for the wedding we attended.  :)

I would recommend going a size up - the dress is pretty form fitting and short. I wore it to a wedding in the hamptons and it was perfect though! 

Definitely get your second size a size smaller than what you'd normally wear! I fit into both dresses just fine but the larger one was definitely more box-y and not as flattering as the smaller size. However, the only con I could find to this amazing dress would be it does run a tad short. Do you may prefer wear the larger one to give yourself more length. Quality of this dress was excellent, such a great experience! Wish I could have kept it!

This dress did the trick. The neckline is lovely but it is very metallic on the neckline. Still a very nice cut. Sat well, although a tad bit short. Material does not stretch. 

Hard to go wrong with a lilly.  It can run a tad on the short side if you are tall.I am 5'6.5 .  I love the scoop neck in the back, gives it a sexy look. 

I rented this dress for a family wedding reception. My cousin eloped and then had a big party at the beach-I wanted something fun and summery that I could dance in and this dress did not disappoint! I am typically a 6 but it was unavailable that weekend, I made the 8 work. The straps were a little loose/long but snug in the right places like the hips. I did have to wear a strapless bra. Overall nice thick fabric, a little worn, but looked nice in pictures. 

I rented this for my friends rehearsal dinner. It was a VERY warm day in August and we were outside for a while and the dress was comfortable. I thought it fit true to size and ended up wearing the 6 instead of the 8 only because I thought the 8 was a little stretched out from being worn a lot. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I wore this dress for my sisters bachlorette party! It went perfect with the nautical theme.  It was a tad short but not overly short. It was very comfortable and I received lots of compliments. Another successful RTR experience! 

Fit true to size and was way more comfortable than I predicted. It was short but I'm 5'4 and I felt very good in it I didn't think it was TOO short. Beautiful color and style, I was very happy with it and I'd rent it again!

It fit true to size. No bra needed (I'm a 36D).  So many compliments. It does ride up when you sit!  That's the only flaw!  I'm looking to rent this again! 

A lot of reviews for Lily Pulitzer shifts say that they are too short, especially for tall girls. Not true. I am 5'8 with a long torso and legs, and if you size up it's fine, it wasn't tight, so that kept it classy. I wore with flats and minimal jewelry. Gorgeous and tasteful. 

Overall, the dress was comfortable and easy to dance in. I'm a 34DD, but the front V was cut in a way that was still modest. The knot details were fun and more glittery in person. It seemed like it had been worn one too many times as it was pretty stretched out, with lots of extra room from the waist down, and the color was faded.  Had it run more true to size, it would've been a perfect dress! 

The simplicity in the style of this dress made it perfect for my engagement photos, and the white/silver/gold detail photographed beautifully. The dress was definitely shorter than I prefer- this was ok when we were standing but the seated photos definitely show a little more leg than I'd prefer.  The front is cut pretty low- to avoid crazy cleavage, I went without a bra. The fit, coupled with the thickness of the fabric, made it so you couldn't even tell.  Overall, I love the dress, just wish it were longer!

Dress fit like a glove! I seriously did not expect such great quality from a rental! It was an easy wear too ... Regular strapless bra did the trick. My first dress rent and I absolutely can't wait for my next one! 

Rented for my bachelorette party. This dress is super cute, comfy, easy to move around in and all together awesome. Got tons of compliments!

I rented this for a 4th July wedding - wore the 2 and didn't have to try on the 4 back up. Comfortable, flattering and really nice in person. The rope material is more sparkly than the pictures show. Minimal jewelry needed, wish I could keep this dress!
