Super fun and cute look! Runs true to size, but quite short. I am 5'7" with longer legs and it was definitely a mini on me. I'd recommend sizing up as your free backup for length. Definitely a great dress for an outdoor summer event. It's made of a thicker material so you can go bra-less, but also wear a strapless bra if necessary. Pair it with fun studs and a bangle to complete your look!

This was the perfect dress for a summer wedding - the textured fabric is forgiving and the "knot" down the front is fun and slimming. Take warning though - this is a short dress!!! I ended up wearing the 8 just for the extra 1/4 inch length in the hem - and I'm only 5'5!

I rented this dress for an anniversary dinner date with my husband. The dress is beautiful and has a nautical feel without being too "costume-y". It is a bit shorter than I normally wear so I'm glad I didn't rent it for a wedding where I'd have been dancing in it. I probably would've felt a bit self-conscious in that case.

I wish I owned this dress. It was beyond comfortable and perfect for a dressy occasion. I wore the 4 with plenty of room and could have worn the 2 for a snugger fit. Only down fall for this dress, too short. It didn't ride up so I was OK but if you are tall, take warning.

Fits true to size. Super comfortable shift dress. It does fit a little short, but not too much so. You can always size up if you want it a bit longer. Perfect for a humid, summer day. Wore it to graduation and it was exactly what I wanted style wise. I wish I didn't have to send it back :(

I wore this for a horse race event & was outdoors all day. I do feel like the dress "grew" in size and by the end of the day and feel as if the size 4 may have been better. All in all this dress gets an A++

Super cute dress! It was just a little short for me though (at least for a morning baby shower!). True navy color. I expected the neck detail to be cream & tan but it's more white & a sparkly gold. The fabric is sturdy, not clingy and it has no stretch. I got lots of compliments!

I really loved this dress. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is just because I have liked other rentals better. I would truly give it a 4.5 if I could. The dress has a nautical feel to it, and the detailing in the middle is very pretty. It runs a little small as it barely covered my bottom, but the fit was forgiving. It could be worn with a strapless bra but is more low cut than you can see in the pictures. It needed very little accessories as it is pretty decorative on its own. Very pretty dress, would recommend it to a friend!

The 0 was perfectly snug, yet still comfortable enough. A little short when you sit down so this is something to consider when selecting sizes. The nautical theme was great for an outdoor wedding by the lake. Would highly recommend. Also, agreed with another reviewer...the material is thick so I didn't need to wear a bra.

I wore this to my confirmation and got some many complaints! It's very form fitting and definitely runs true to size! Th only thing I'd watch out for is the slit down the middle was just a little lower than I expected but overall it was perfect for what I needed it for!

I loved this dress and definitely rent it again. I work it for a summer wedding at a golf course and received so many compliments. This was my first rent the runway piece and I was impressed. The dress fit really well but was pretty short. If you are tall it might be a little too short. I have a more curvy/hourglass figure and this dress fit in all the right places.

I loved this dress and was really scared when my usual size 8 was unavailable. Luckily the dress runs quite small and the 10 fit, although it did seem to stretch out throughout the day. The dress is a tad short, but since I am petite and was in flats it wasn't too bad. Lilly for the win!

It felt a little short on me in the church- the bottom fell just at my finger tips- so I kept my navy paschmina on while we were in the church. At the reception I was ready to party! I wore a minimal necklace with fun earrings and bracelets. It paired great with the flats I brought to dance in and I was comfortable the entire night! I LOVE this dress! If RTR had an option to buy out like Stitch Fix I would have!

I would recommend going a size up - the dress is pretty form fitting and short. I wore it to a wedding in the hamptons and it was perfect though!

Definitely get your second size a size smaller than what you'd normally wear! I fit into both dresses just fine but the larger one was definitely more box-y and not as flattering as the smaller size. However, the only con I could find to this amazing dress would be it does run a tad short. Do you may prefer wear the larger one to give yourself more length. Quality of this dress was excellent, such a great experience! Wish I could have kept it!

I rented this for my friends rehearsal dinner. It was a VERY warm day in August and we were outside for a while and the dress was comfortable. I thought it fit true to size and ended up wearing the 6 instead of the 8 only because I thought the 8 was a little stretched out from being worn a lot. I would definitely rent this dress again!

A lot of reviews for Lily Pulitzer shifts say that they are too short, especially for tall girls. Not true. I am 5'8 with a long torso and legs, and if you size up it's fine, it wasn't tight, so that kept it classy. I wore with flats and minimal jewelry. Gorgeous and tasteful.

I rented this for a 4th July wedding - wore the 2 and didn't have to try on the 4 back up. Comfortable, flattering and really nice in person. The rope material is more sparkly than the pictures show. Minimal jewelry needed, wish I could keep this dress!
