While this was to tight on me, it fit my friend perfectly.  She has a straight body type while this was very tight on top for me.
Luckily I had a backup dress idea.

I am a super hard fit (petite and curvy).  I wore this one to a mid-day, couple's baby shower.   The fabric is thick but doesn't wrinkle even after being stuffed in a garment bag.  This dress worked well at the beach in 90 degree weather.   Pros: I am a 36D bra size and the size 8 dress was snug enough up top to go braless without show through. Loved the pattern and the fabric.  You should rent this one. 

I wore to work and felt great all day, though it could easily be dressed up for a summer event. Fabric has some stretch and a nice weight. This is a flattering and comfortable shape as well! Love! I got this for Nantucket, and I fit in perfectly :) Definitely recommend - pairs perfectly with the beach house + necklace. 

Really liked this dress - so fun to wear!  I wore to work but could easily wear out to eat, for a wedding/baby shower, or dress it up even more.  Will definitely rent again. 

I felt so great wearing this dress. I swear I would have worn it just to sit at home. So many compliments. My only issue was the side zip. I would definitely size up if you have a large bust.

Loved this dress! The only issue I had was that the waist on the model looks a lot lower than it was on me (crossed my ribcage). I just didn't like that kind of feel, but overall I wanted to purchase this dress!

I rented this for a semi formal work function, and sadly they did not have my usual size so I sized up based on reviews that it ran small. I found it to run very true to size and sizing up the thick material really swallowed me up. It's definitely cute but not amazing. 

Loved the bright pop of blue from this dress! Perfect for Easter - church-appropriate without feeling dowdy. I'm usually a 0/2 and was glad to have chosen the 2. It was a bit tight in the chest and I'm not at all busty! 

We had our son Baptized at 3 months so I was looking for a dress that would be flattering while still hiding the extra baby weight and be church appropriate. A lot of the dresses I have previously rented have low neck lines or are a little short. I discovered this one and while reading reviews discovered several other costumers rented this dress for church events. I was comfortable and loved that it had a slight cap sleeve. It also has pockets! I can normally wear anywhere from an 8-12. This dress only went up to a 10 so rented that was happy that it fit. Others mentioned the zipper was stiff which I agree. I had my husband help zip me up. I would definitely recommend this dress. 

This dress is bright and easy to wear. Fit and flare is flattering. Material wrinkles very easily though.

Great (heavy) cotton fit and flare dress!  Good flare for sure.  I could have comfortably worn the 10, especially in the chest area, but this worked. I did wear a dark navy cover over it.  The dress was hard to zip up on the side, and it did have over an inch of a hem at the bottom. I would have liked the extra length. Overall, quite nice, but it did have a couple unnoticeable spots. 

Such a fun summer dress the skirt is full and the pockets make it awesome. I wore the 6 (4 wasn't available). I think it runs true to size. The zipper was a little quirky even though the dress was a little big. The blues in it are really pretty. Lots of compliments. 

Kate spade is so fun to wear. This dress is no exception! The skirt is wonderful and full and the perfect length on me, right at the knee.  The little cap sleeves make it more work appropriate and the boat neck is nice for necklaces. Enjoy wearing and get ready for compliments! 

I really love this style of dress - super cute and comfy. Couple of things with this - the dress creased in the bag so I should of really ironed it before wearing (couldn't be bothered!) and also the zipper is under the arm and was super stiff so struggled a bit on my own to do it up 

Zipper a bit hard to zip up and a bit hard to iron to get wrinkles out but overall I absolutely loved this dress and felt very pretty in it. Perfect for my
Daughters baptism. The 4 and 6 were pretty similar in size. I went with the 6. 

My daughter was on the Queen's Court for a local festival, and we rented this for one of the events she attended. She loved the dress, especially the pockets. 

I am pear-shaped and typically wear size 6-8 dresses. I couldn't even zip up the size 6 (i.e., side zipper), but the size 8 zipped up just fine. I also typically wear dresses that are roomy/flouncy on the bottom half due to my pear-shape. Although this dress was overall well-suited for my size and shape, I think that the pockets add a bit more bulk than is necessary, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The fabric is sturdy and of good quality, and benefited from some steaming to get rid of wrinkles and folds. I received compliments on the dress and so got to share my love of RTR! 

I wore this as a Derby party host. It was the backup as my original wasn't available. It liked this, but didn't love it. The dress was a little too full in the hips for my pear shape. The colors were the highlight of the dress. 

Beautiful blues and a great cut. Wore it for my son's HS graduation.   Definitely not for someone with a big bust - it was very snug in the top which fit me well. The zipper was very hard to pull up. I would give 5 stars but the front hem was coming down a little in the front. 

Pros: this dress is fun and summer-y and I got compliments all day long!  Also, LOVE the deep pockets.  The material feels great to wear and lays nicely. Fits very true to size.
Cons: it took like 5 full minutes to zip up!  The zipper stuck in 3 separate places and even when it wasn't "stuck" it was tough to move.  In addition, there was a hole in the dress by the zipper that I had to safety pin closed.  Also, the dress arrived very wrinkly- I had to iron!

I'm 5'11 and normally a size 4 and the 4 fit perfectly. Like many, the side zipper was impossible to do on my own, and had to get help. It arrived extremely wrinkled and I ironed it as best I could, though the wrinkles were stubborn. The dress itself was very comfortable; I wore it all night for dinner, graduation, and after w/out feeling constricted. It laid just perfectly so to cover any "food belly" that may have been there. I loved the pockets and the length was nice too. Overall, it was a great choice for the night.

I've worn Kate Spade before and found that it runs small so I ended up wearing the 6. The dress has a nice weight to it, was perfect for a warm, fall outdoor event

I wore this to a wedding that we brought our 11 month old who won't sit still but doesn't walk well on his own. It was comfortable. Fit well. Did not have boneing so it wasn't too tight around my ribs. It was long enough I could pick up a movey baby all day and not worry. And the pockets were glorious for snacks and pacifiers. 

I rented this dress for the spring Dapper Day outing at Disneyland. It fit perfectly with flattering box pleats to hide tummy imperfections. I received many compliments and felt so comfortable in this dress.  The material was heavier than I expected but still cool on a warm California day. I would rent this dress again and recommend it to my friends. 

This dress was super cute. Unfortunately, the zipper was really difficult to get zipped. I am full in the chest so even though the waist on this was good, if you are larger chested, consider sizing up.  On the plus side once zipped, it's adorable and it has pockets!

I rented this dress for work and kept it to wear to a bridal shower tea party. So pretty and fits like a glove. I got so many compliments. Very comfortable! A little snug in the chest area but looks ok without a bra. Super cute for spring! 

I wore this dress to my friend's bridal shower and it was a hit! Love the shape and colors of this dress! Also, pockets!! The fabric has a linen/cotton feel to it and worked great for this daytime event.

Comfortable. Conservative and classic. Worn for my son's baptism. Able to hold his bottle easily in the pocket and wrangle my 3 year old without worry of a shifting dress. 

Loved this dress! Length was a little longer than I typically wear by perfect for a family party! Pockets where great and overall fit was pretty true to size, if anything ran a little big, but the 4 would have been way to small!

Wore this dress for my son's baptism. The fit worked well, also noting that I was 5 mo pregnant at the time. I thought the stomach area "poofed" out a bit, and feel it would have "poofed" naturally due to the style of the dress.  Overall I was happy with it. 

I rented this dress as part of my unlimited subscription. I wanted to try a few different dresses before making a final selection for a cocktail about later in the month. I ordered a 10 which is a size up from what I usually wear, even with a larger chest. As other commenters have mentioned, the dress is type in the rib cage. That said, if I had ordered a 12 the waist and skirt would've been too much for my frame. But I did love this dress !!I love the neckline, love the pleating,   love the color. Perfect kneelength.

I wore this dress to my graduation party and it was perfect!! The dress is made out of a very stiff material, which took some getting used to but it was fine. The bust is very tight, and it took a couple tries to get the final three inches zipped but when it did I loved how it looked on me. I got so many compliments from everyone!
