We had our son Baptized at 3 months so I was looking for a dress that would be flattering while still hiding the extra baby weight and be church appropriate. A lot of the dresses I have previously rented have low neck lines or are a little short. I discovered this one and while reading reviews discovered several other costumers rented this dress for church events. I was comfortable and loved that it had a slight cap sleeve. It also has pockets! I can normally wear anywhere from an 8-12. This dress only went up to a 10 so rented that was happy that it fit. Others mentioned the zipper was stiff which I agree. I had my husband help zip me up. I would definitely recommend this dress.

Fit runs true to size. The zipper is a bit difficult to get up but once you do, it's good to go. :) Colors are vibrant and pretty. The pockets are a big plus. Would definitely rent again!

Fun pattern, bright blues! The only challenge of this dress was the zipper. It didn't go up all the way. That's why I wore a blazer. But, it worked!

Kate Spade FTW! This dress fit like a dream! The fabric is thick yet stretchy, providing a contoured, form-fitting top and a beautifully pleated, flowing skirt. The pockets are a total bonus! I am a true hourglass shape, and this dress is so flattering. I would definitely rent this dress again.

Kate Spade FTW as usual! I got this for a wedding rehearsal dinner and LOVED IT! The blue colors are so gorgeous, and the material is perfect for a dinner party.

Loved the dress! Heavy, good quality fabric that holds the skirt shape but has plenty of movement. As with several of the Kate Spade dresses I've worn, the zipper was difficult so my husband had to help.

I love the consistency of Kate spade clothing in general! The bust was a bit tight, but that's always the case for me with Kate spade dresses. The color was great and it was comfortable. I wore it to a bridal luncheon where "dressy southern" was the stated attire.

Wore this dress for a wedding. The fit was fantastic on this dress. The pleats give volume to the dress and the pockets are a fantastic touch. It is a classic style and was incredibly comfortable to wear all evening. The dark blue fell at the smallest part of my waist which helped make it look even smaller which I think is an overlooked and subtle addition to this dress. I would recommend this dress to anyone who likes the style!

Great fit for my post baby body, I am still about 2 sizes larger than my normal size. I loved that this dress has an A-line skirt, it's perfect to hid the belly I still have. The zipper was a little difficult to get up - I needed my husband to zip me up two different times as I was unable to do it myself. The fabric is a little thicker so the dress didn't wrinkle and it looked great in photographs. Plus with my spanx on everything felt nice and secure. I really wanted to keep this dress. It was a perfect choice for my son's baptism.

Great dress from Kate Spade! The fitting was true to size - I found that it fit nicely around the bust and waist. The skirt has a lot of volume (probably more than I originally realized!) and hit a tiny bit above my knee. I wore with 2inch wedges to a rehearsal dinner. I originally wanted to pair it with the Peri to My Winkle Necklace, but the coloration looked strange. I wouldn't recommend those two together, but very nice apart!

I wore this dress for my 30th birthday party. The celebration happened to be on a boat, so the blue stripes had the perfect nautical feel. The skirt was full and had great movement even though the fabric was pretty heavy. It was fun and flirty, while not being too revealing or flashy. The chest of the dress was tight even though I'm not very busty, so I did wear up a size. I was a little worried about the cap sleeves annoying me during the night, but I didn't even notice they were there. Overall, this was one of my favorite rentals.

As a curvy girl, this is always my go-to style! I thought the dress was a little snug in the bust area, but the poof was fun and fabulous! I paired it with a gold Anthro belt to accentuate my waist, and received compliments all night long! It was perfect for a summer wedding.

Very flattering dress. I just had a baby and have some extra weight in my midsection, and this dress was awesome hiding it!

I vary between a 10 and 12 depending on designer etc. I chose to wear the 12 because it was a hot and humid day and I didn't want to feel uncomfortable. Also, while the 10 did technically fit, it was a bit snug so the pleats on the skirt did not lay as perfectly as I would have liked on my hips and butt. The 12 was a tad big at my collar bone, but ultimately looked fine. I wore the dress with a pair of navy blue with white polka dot peep toe heels -- probably a fashion faux pas to mix patterns! -- but I got tons of compliments on how great it looked! I truly loved this dress!

The dress for perfectly with one note on the bodice being slightly fitted. I received numerous compliments on the dress and it slightly flared which I enjoyed. One last bonus were the pockets! If you have a larger chest I would be conscious that the dress might be tighter on you.

Wore this beautiful stunner to my sissy-in-law to be's bridal shower. It was a huge hit & I relieved so many compliments. The fit was so perfect up top & the skirt full but beautiful. I am petite up top and under my rib cage & thick in my bum and thighs so empire waist/A lines are always my go to. Kate Spade does NOT disappoint!!!

Both the 8 and 10 fit but I ended up going with the 10 so I had extra room in the arms (which are definitely my problem area). Other reviewers were right about the zipper being a struggle; it's not because the dress is too tight either. Plan to have a buddy when getting ready. Fabric is thick without being hot. Well constructed. I received lots of compliments. My boyfriend summed it up perfect by saying, "You could wear that again and I wouldn't be upset." Definitely a winner!

I can't even describe the ways in which I love this dress. I love it so much that immediately upon returning it, I sought it out and bought it (seriously, within 10 minutes of dropping the package in the return box - I needed to own it). I felt like a million bucks in it. I've had three kids and have been up and down in sizing, so wasn't sure how this would fit - but the 14 was perfect, it fit like a glove. The fabric has just the tiniest amount of stretch, which I liked. The fabric itself is heavy enough to lay really well, but I wore it to an outdoor spring wedding on a warm day, and it definitely wasn't too hot. I think the stripes are much prettier in person, the blue is vibrant and rich. The skirt is a little fuller than in the picture (fun for dancing!), and the bodice is on the tighter side, but those things made it fit me even better. It's great if you have hips you want to hide.

I rented this dress for my 8th grade promotion (graduation ceremony) and dance. It fit me very well, it was really crisp, and the colors were much more vibrant than in the online picture. The fabric was nice and thick, and even though I wore it on a hot summer night I wasn't too hot. The zipper was very frustrating, though. The zipper on the size 0 would not go up, but the 2 looked the same in regards to the rest of the dress, but the zipper went up much easier. The pockets were very nice to hold a lip gloss and my iPhone 4s with an Otterbox case on it. It seems like it would also be able to hold a phone an inch or so bigger than that. Overall, the dress was beautiful and it was a great rental!

Ignore my arm fat. I sprained my ankle a while ago and I'm glad I got the extra size up. The fit was perfect for my pear shape and has a nice inner lining that gives it structure. And it has pockets. It's nice to not tote a clutch around.

I loved this dress and it was perfect for my event. However, I normally wear a size 4 and when I tried the 4 on it was a little too tight up on top so I went with the 6. My favorite part was of course the pockets! It made my night so much easier so I didn't have to carry a purse around. I would recommend this dress to anyone!

I rented this dress for my engagement photos. I loved the fit, style, & color! It was perfect for the beach / shore setting. A bonus was that it had pockets! It is an extremely comfortable dress and I didn't want to send it back!

This dress was a great rental for my fiancé's graduation. Although it does fit a bit tightly in the bust area, it's overall very comfortable, especially with the A-line skirt. And it has pockets (need I say more)! The color of the dress is also much more vibrant than it even appears online, and I got a lot of compliments all day. Really great option if you need a dress that is lightweight and not overly dressy but still classy looking.

I really, really loved this dress. I was nervous about the stripes, but it worked out perfectly! The color was awesome. The fabric was a heavy weight, but breathable and with some stretch. It fit me perfectly and I felt beautiful. I didn't want to send this dress back. I rented the recommended necklace too, and at first thought it was a bit too chunky for me. Once I showed my friends/co-workers, they convinced me otherwise. The whole outfit came together nicely. (Sorry for the bathroom selfie. Still waiting for the pictures our event photographer took of me wearing the dress, ha!)

The top is very form fitting and the skirt is obviously full making it perfect for a pear shaped figure. I loved the hidden pockets, which I didn't find until late in the evening. The material has stretch which made it comfortable. The fabric has some body, which makes it crisp and fresh looking, without making it stiff. I'd rent this again in a minute for the right occasion.

This dress is really perfection! This dress is very well made and the fabric is very high quality. I typically wear 00-0 and the 00 was a little too small. The 0 fit perfectly. This dress has great hidden pockets. The print on the dress is beautiful and colors were bright and vibrant. I wore this dress to my sister's graduation and an outdoor party afterward and it received MANY compliments. I highly recommend this dress!!!

Wore this for a 1st Communion. Stylish yet appropriate for church. Wore a sweater because it still thinks it's Winter in Minnesota :( Zipper was tough to get up past a certain point where the dress changes shape, but just get help and it'll go up. Tight as hell in the bust for me (32D/34C) but I got in and was still comfortable. TONS of compliments on it. Great springy colors, preppy cool. :)
