I would say it fits true to size, perhaps a bit on the smaller side. But with a dress like this, you want it to be skin tight! The only negative to this dress is that the sequins caused a bit of rubbing discomfort under the arms, but that was very, very minimal and the impact of the dress made it totally worth it. I felt like a goddess in this dress and it hurt my heart to return it! Also nice that, because of the extra layering of the sequins, it really doesn't show panty lines so a thong is not necessary.

I never thought of myself as someone who wears sequins, but now I'm hooked! You will not be disappointed!

Loved the longer length which made it more formal. Sequin wasn't the most comfy on naked arms, but well worth it. Great choice for October gala. 

Cons: Runs small, and the sequins do stab under the arms and create scratches. My nylons also did not survive, so don't wear expensive ones if you wear them with this dress. Pros Super glamorous, and looks good on most body shapes and sizes! It photographs really well! (Note: It photographs crimson, but the actual color is a deep plum). I loved it despite the scratchiness, and felt very glamorous.

Dress gave me the rock and roll look I wanted, but The sequence under the alarm was very uncomfortable poking me all night had to wear jacket just to be comfortable in dress

Tons of compliments all night! I recommend you start one size up and then order 2 sizes up for your backup size because the fit is snug. Even with the lining the sequins poked and scratched me, like the other reviewers said, but I only wore the dress for a couple hours. This dress made my night!

I wore this out for a night in Vegas! The dress fit well - a little baggy on the top since I couldn't wear the bra I brought, so I went without. I had to pull it down a few times to make it fit like a glove. The only other con was that the sequins scratched under my arms. But other than that, it was awesome!! I felt amazing in it, got tons of compliments and would definitely wear it again. I even thought about buying it I liked it so much! 


This dress was everything. I thought it was going to be overly dressy for the venue but with not doing accessories it made it work perfectly. I was the star of the night in this amazing dress. The fit was perfect.  

Cons: as other comments have noted the sequins will scratch the inside of your upper arm really bad. 

There were also some sequins missing.  I should've worn the 6 for a more comfortable fit but it was  very obvious the missing patches of sequins. The 4 did fit  but didn't leave a lot of room for movement.  Good thing this was not a dancing type event.  

The fit was perfect and very flattering, I had some challenges with the top because I have a large chest but it made for amazing cleavage!

So sexy yet elegant! The only problem I had was my arms chaffed from the sequins. 

This dress has an amazing fit and looks amazing on. Perfect for Las Vegas, or even a wedding, depending on the theme and level of formality. I gave it 4 stars because I have to agree with previous reviewers about it being scratchy. I only wore it for a couple hours so it was fine, and wouldn't deter me from renting it again, but I wouldn't want to wear this for a long time or for dancing. That said, I had at least 4 people stop me and say how much they loved the dress, so that's saying something!  Fit was true to size for me, cinched in nicely at the waist which is always a challenge for me (some dresses tend to be too baggy in the waist area - not this one!). Dress was overall comfortable, lining was soft and it had a little stretch to it.  Except for the scratchy sequins under the arms and at the slit in the back, it would get 5 stars. Still loved it though!  

Not only did I feel like one but I think about 10 people said that as well! I loved loved loved this dress. I wore it for a fall wedding and it was perfect. The sequins were a bit itchy under the arms but I got over that quickly. I loved that it had a bit more length then a cocktail dress which made it that much more classy. 

This dress was so gorgeous but it was just too tight to be comfortable in all night so I decided not to wear it.  I had a lot of extra room in the bust and the straps seemed like they would slide off all night.  I definitely would've made it work if I had gotten a backup size in the next size up.  I got a 6 and there was extra room in the waist and bust, but the bottom was very tight.  I think this might fit better for more of a straight shape with a bigger chest and smaller hips.

I loved this dress. I got nothing but compliments all night. There is no stretch to it at all, but it fit like a glove anyway. Definitely be careful though if you have sensitive skin. I didn't notice at the time but I was covered in tiny scratches from the sequins. I would definitely wear it again though.

I wore this for a Valentine's date night and my boyfriend loved it! Makes you feel sexy and glamorous! I'm 5'5" 117 pounds and the size 2 fit perfectly, true to size. The sequins scratched the heck out of me when putting on the dress, but they didn't bother me while wearing it. Would definitely recommend!

Fabric is unforgiving and as scratchy as the other reviews promised!  However, it was absolutely fabulous.  I received great compliments and I was full of sequined confidence!  If you want to feel glam, this is an awesome dress.  Loved the mid-length.  Could have gotten away with a regular bra but a strapless looked better.

The dress was very itchy. I had several scratches on my arms the next day. 
No stretch, at all!!! Difficult to walk up the stairs, bend, etc.

Definitely true to size - fits like a glove. I have long legs and a short waist, but the straps were perfect and the dress hemline hit me right at my knees. I felt so confident and beautiful! I received many complents. It's a sassy twist to a sequin dress on New Year's. Definitely channeled Scarlett Johanson for hair and makeup! I did get a little cut up on my eright arm from the sequins, but not until I had been wearing the dress for more than 4 hours. It hurt a little, but it was worth it!

Over the dress was gorgeous and pretty comfortable. I got tons of complements from strangers all night! I only gave it 4 stars because even though I wore the zero, it was still a little big. The straps fell to the side a bit, showing my bra and I had to keep adjusting all night. it was a little baggy, not to mention just a little bit too long for a petite woman. I didn't have the scratching under the arms but maybe bc it was too big? I did however feel scratching along the hem on my legs, but it was do-able. Still loved it though. 

I wore to a Christmas party. I did receive tons of compliments. My only complaint is that it does run large. I wore a size 0 and it was large around my waist. I had no other dress to wear so I just went with it but it was not flattering due to it not being fitted. The straps are a little too long. I did not experience any discomfort from the sequins. I was concerned about the neckline because I am very busty..however it did not show too much cleavage. Overall it is a fun, gorgeous dress but it just does not have the "fit like a glove" effect that most high end dresses do. 

This dress was fun, sexy and I got a ton of compliments but I have to say it was anything but comfortable. It was VERY tight- no stretch at all. It also is a little scratchy under the arms because of the sequins. It is very flattering though and is sexy without being too revealing- great for my husband's gatsby themed work party!

True to size, though a little loose for me in the straps. The sequins are a little painful when they dig into your skin, but not a big deal. An awesome dress for Vegas dancing -- hot dress, with some length. Would wear it again.

This dress is definitely snug. I wore a shaper underneath to help smooth my body (I am 8 months post partum). Lots of compliments. I agree with others with the sequins hurting your arm, so just expect that.

I wanted sizes 0, 2 but they were out of size 2. This was a little tight on me and yes the sequins do tend to scrape the insides of your arms but its' WORTH IT. I was receiving compliments from total strangers as I took a walk through the vegas strip! :D

Rented this for a NYC weekend away.  Dress looked incredible.  

The fit was perfect...not stretchy so make sure you order the correct size.  Gorgeous dress the only flaw was the inside of my upper arm rubbing against the fabric the sequins were rough on my skin but definitely not enough to bother or regret this dress

This was a great dress, was a little big in the bust area/ shoulders but I am very small up top 34a and small upper frame. Fit perfectly on the butt. Be prepared to be cut up by the sparkles though.. next morning had all red scratches on my inner arms. Love the color too

The fit was great, though the neckline was a little stretched out. Nothing anyone but you would notice, though. The sequins do scratch your arms to ribbons but it's well worth the pain.

I rented this dress for a James Bond-themed Halloween Party and it was perfect!!  I received tons of compliments.  I was nervous about a dress with "too much sequins" but this dress did not look costume-y at all.  The length made it look sophisticated.  I received tons of compliments all night long.  Its a dress that could be perfect for a gala or very formal event.  The dress falls below the knee and accentuates an hour glass figure.  I only knocked off one star because it was a tad bit scrathy and did not have much stretch to it.  Otherwise, fantastic dress!  

I've worn sequin dresses before, and we all know you run the risk of getting some cuts from those sharp little suckers--this one did a number on my forearm. It wasn't unbearable, but I had to make an effort to keep my hands on my hips all night to reduce scratching. It looked like i was in a fight with a small kitten the next morning. However, compliments galore, and I truly love the look of the dress. Fitwise, I opted for the 6 over the 4 for fear the 4 would rip if I made to sudden of movement or sat for that matter. There is no give in the lining. Top was a little too big in the 6, but it wasn't really an issue. Straps came down once or twice but were easily put back in place. 

I wore this dress to a fraternity formal.  The dress fit very well and I received a ton of compliments!! I felt great in it, and it was fun to wear!

For the first time renting a dress, I was a bit nervous about the fit.  The other reviews helped a lot.  The dress fit perfectly and I did use a bit of tape for the straps, more for security.  The issue about the sequins rubbing under the arms did happen but only on the right side and only a little bit.  Overall, the dress was so fun to wear and it brought lots of compliments!

I wore this to a Great Gatsby party. To me, it was true to size. I did not wear a bra, as it was a little snug in the bust area. Also, beware of the sequins, they can definitely irritate if you rub against them too much. All in all, great rental!

I received so many compliments on this dress. It's for well but it was a little snug in my boobs but I'm a 34DD and my hips when I sat down. But the waist fit me perfect. The sequin on the sides kept scratching my underarms but that was the only issue I really had. You can't wear a regular bra with this one...the straps in the back are too far apart. But it's a really comfy dress. 

I rented this dress for Valentines Day and it was perfect. It is super sexy without being over the top. The fit is like body con, accentuating you in all the right places especially if you have a big backside like me. My husband loved it. I noticed in other reviews that people complained about the scratching sequins but I didn't really notice except one point at dinner the dress lining got folded up underneath me to where the sequins were directly against my skin but once I smoothed it out everything was fine. This has been probably my favorite rental because I felt like such a bombshell and who doesn't like walking into a restaurant and having everyone stop and stare! My only complaint is that the straps were too long for me and I kept having to adjust them because I have a very small chest compared to my booty. But nothing was going to stop me from wearing this incredible dress.
