I can't say enough positive things about this dress. It fit me perfectly. It had such a sleek, sparkly and sophisticated look to it. I wore this for a performance and received compliments all evening for how it looked. I would rent this dress again if I had a cocktail party to go to or a similar event. I am also a bit busty and I felt like it minimized that and smoothed everything out from top to bottom. Loved this dress!

As the other girls have described, this dress does provide a little discomfort under the armpits but not too much. I wore it all night long for my bachelorette (from 6pm-4am) and didn't end up with a rash. I found it to be slightly hard to breath, I think a 12 would have fit better because I am pretty hippy. It was a stunner though. And yes, if you do have a smaller chest, the straps may be too long. It fit me perfectly. I paired it with the Kenneth Jay Lane Crystallized Aqua Drops and the Times Arrow Carmine Affine Bag and the turquoise and burgundy paring were perfect!

The reviews said the sizing was big so order a size down, but I did not find that to be the case at all. I normally wear an 8 and the fit was SNUG. I felt poured into the dress, and there was little stretch. I didn't even bother trying on the 6! The night of the event I wore Spanx and the dress fit like a dream. I know some women found the sequins irritating under the arms -- I didn't really notice it. The dress stood up to a night of dancing and birthday celebration and I received many compliments. It's a stunner. Would definitely rent again.

This dress was perfect for my birthday dinner in Vegas. Loved the color, the fit was perfect and it was sexy. My only complaint is the sequins scratch the heck out of you!

The dress hugged my figure to the T! It was comfortable in my breast and stomach area and was snug in my hip area. Its sexy but classy and it doesn't need any accessories. I wore it with blue swede shoes and it was a great combination. The only con was that the sequence scratched my arm so I had to keep my clutch under it. Not a huge deal and worth it!

I loved the color and fit of this dress. It's sexy, glam and chic classy. It's a show stopper. Wore to a Grammy after party. Received lots of compliments as its unique. The ouch on this dress is the sequins. When adjusting the dress the sequins were sharp and I did get small cuts under two of my nails.

Absolutely wonderful. I was worried that the length would be too long for my height but it worked out. I stood out at a party where women were wearing gowns. Highly recommended!

I rented this in a 0 with a backup size 2 for a model who is 5'11" size 0-2 regularly. She has a frame very similar to the model pictured and it looked amazing on her! The color is also true to the photograph- a beautiful deep maroon color that reflects kind of purplish in different lighting. The cut of the dress is definitely made for taller girls.

Fitted dress but very comfortable to wear. The sequins are large and do rub against your arms a bit but wasn't really a big deal. Lots of compliments and felt amazing in it! Would absolutely recommend! Perfect for formal event!

This dress is such a winner! I wore it to the Young Patrons of Lincoln Center Fall Gala in NYC. It is elegant and fun. Be warned, it is very fitted. I really, really loved it. It does scratch a bit under your arms, but I didn't care. I'd highly recommend it!

Dress was tight but fit and because it had little to no give, it held me in better than spanx so I did not where them. My upper body is slightly smaller than lower so straps were somewhat loose so I had to tape them to my bra to keep in place and the dress was a little lower in front that usual. However it was fine. I was able to dance freely and sit and enjoy my party.

If I had not eaten five burritos my tummy wouldn't have been poking out a little. Otherwise - perfect fit!!! I didn't even have to wear a bra! I ordered the 4 and the 6. 4 was too small. 6 fit perfectly! Definitely will order this again! Perfect for a trip to Vegas, a girls night out, a fancy dinner at a nice restaurant or an evening wedding guest It's absolutely fabulous!

There is some fraying of the sequence at the arm pits, which makes them stick out a little and can be very sharp on your arms. That being said, I still loved the dress. It was bright and sure to be noticed. It was form fitting and long for me, which I like because I'm tall. I had a ball in it.

This dress is as amazing in person as it is in the photos! Rented this for a boxing match in Las Vegas..Got lots of compliments! The dress does run small and the sequins kill your underarm area but..it was worth it!

Didn't get to wear the dress to the charity event due to illness, but it's a gorgeous dress and I can't wait to rent it for another function . The picture shows me trying it out when it was delivered and I bleed from small cuts all down my arm from where the sequins scratched me. I am not exaggerating with stating that this dress is absolutely amazing but I was cut up bad. Not sure I would last hours in it but am willing to rent it to see how I would deal with it for hours. I would have worn the 2 since I fit in it if I wanted to be super sexy. The 4 would have been more appropriate for the charity event I was scheduled for. This dress has no give or stretch so size up if you baton heavy. You need to be skinny and lean to pull it off really well like the model. Straps were falling off even with me trying it out .. Use tape.

I wore this for a bachelorette party in Vegas. It is one of the most gorgeous dressed I've ever worn, BUT the sequins absolutely tore up my skin (especially on my arm near my armpits)! I still (6 days later) have some scabs on my hands where the sequins cut my skin. Even a friend who put her arm in mine for 2 minutes had cuts. We look like we had a fight with a cat! Despite that, the dress fit perfectly and was the perfect combination of classy & sexy. I would just buy liquid bandaids to apply next time...

The color of this dress is gorgeous in person. It is very form fitting and hugs your curves. I got this as a backup and liked my first choice dress better, so I didn't end up wearing it. The straps were a bit long and felt like they might slide off, and I think the length would be more flattering on someone taller.

This dress is hard to wear, there is no stretch and the straps are a little long. I used hem/fashion tape to shorten it, but it is a beautiful color.

The fit on the dress was great! I did wear spanx just to feel more comfortable but not really necessary. I am a 32DDD and it worked perfect for my bust. Definitely a dress for a larger bust. I got many compliments on it and people are still telling me how stunning it was. I agree with some other reviews, the sequins were scratchy on my legs but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't handle it, especially after a couple glasses of champagne! ;-)

I wore this for a Roaring 20's party but would rent for a special event. The color was beautiful and the dress was sexy. The sequins were itchy but it was a comfortable dress - very form fitting but stretchy. Received compliments all night.

Based on the other reviews I ordered an 8 (this was a backup for a different dress). I wore this to a semi-formal wedding and I was very happy with it. There is basically no give in the hips. It was not easy to sit in this dress especially since I have a bigger bottom half. I liked how it accentuated my curves and it got a lot of attention at the wedding, the color and sparkles definitely stand out.

I usually wear a 0/2, but since I don't usually wear bodycon dresses I ordered a 2/4 to be safe and the 2 fit. The sequin dress was perfect for NYE but the midi length and rich color made it classy enough for a wedding. I did see comments about the sequins rubbing against your arms and it is true. My arms were on fire by the end of the night. The straps were a little long too but it was such a cute dress and a big hit you can suffer through both of those problems for one night.

A month before NYE, I was having second thoughts on an Herve I originally rented (I thought it was too plain for NYE in Miami) and came across the only sequined dress RTR had in my size--kinda. I normally wear a size 2, but all that was left was a 0. Though the size notes said it ran big, I was nervous that the midi length would be too long (I'm 5'1") and the dress would be too small (I'm a 32DDD). But I took a chance and rented it anyway, and thankfully it did not disappoint. The dress was snug in all the right places so it hugged and accentuated my curves, while the midi length kept it classy. And the color was the perfect shade, adding a nice bit of vampiness to the ensemble. Since the dress was a tad too long for my height, the bottom was not as tight around my calves as a true midi should be, and after a night of partying the sequins did take a toll on the inside of my arms. I don't think these are deal breakers, but just some things to think about when you rent. As for sizing, I think this dress can run big so be sure to order a size down as a back-up if possible. Overall, fabulous dress. Enjoy!

The sequins are very scratchy. Watch the undersides of your arms as you walk, you can get scratched by the sequins. The dress also has very little give, so I couldn't move or bend much. It does look beautiful on but I would suggest wearing for a short event, not a long evening.

I rented this dress for a wedding in New Orleans and it was perfect for the location! Beautiful deep red color that sparkles and shines in the sun. I was worried that the length of the dress would be too long but it was just below the knee and looked great on my 5'4'' frame. Straps did not fall all night but the sequins were scrachy around the underarms and definitely got annoying as the night went on. Beautiful color and fit though!

I ordered a size 0 and 2 and alas, there is no in between size, so if you have a bigger butt, the bigger size is much more breathable and movable. I wore a size 2 and the only issue was the loose top portion, though I have a small bust. It was fairly comfortable most of the night and the tightness of the dress was not overwhelming. The dress is incredible quality and I got so many compliments on the color at homecoming.

This dress was perfect for a dinner / dance / concert at a Gold Coast mansion. I'm 5'10", and the length was just right. The 6 was not in great condition, however. It was clearly more worn than the 4, my backup size, which was too small. There is no stretch in this dress and the sequins really REALLY scratched my underarms. Like, to the point where I had to borrow a shawl and tuck it under my arms. But it was beautiful, compliments all around. I skipped a bra since the dress was so structured. I wish I could say I'd rent again but I remember how uncomfortable I was that night!

The dress fit like a glove, it definitely accentuated my hourglass figure. I did feel really slender in the dress, and I got loads of compliments! The reason I gave it 3 stars was the underside of my upper arms were rubbed raw from the sequins that stuck out and scratched me up. We danced a lot at the party, so that probably added to the irritation. It was a very pretty dress, but by the end of the night I was hurting under my armpits pretty bad.

I would say it fits true to size, perhaps a bit on the smaller side. But with a dress like this, you want it to be skin tight! The only negative to this dress is that the sequins caused a bit of rubbing discomfort under the arms, but that was very, very minimal and the impact of the dress made it totally worth it. I felt like a goddess in this dress and it hurt my heart to return it! Also nice that, because of the extra layering of the sequins, it really doesn't show panty lines so a thong is not necessary. I never thought of myself as someone who wears sequins, but now I'm hooked! You will not be disappointed!

I wore this out for a night in Vegas! The dress fit well - a little baggy on the top since I couldn't wear the bra I brought, so I went without. I had to pull it down a few times to make it fit like a glove. The only other con was that the sequins scratched under my arms. But other than that, it was awesome!! I felt amazing in it, got tons of compliments and would definitely wear it again. I even thought about buying it I liked it so much!

This dress was everything. I thought it was going to be overly dressy for the venue but with not doing accessories it made it work perfectly. I was the star of the night in this amazing dress. The fit was perfect. Cons: as other comments have noted the sequins will scratch the inside of your upper arm really bad. There were also some sequins missing. I should've worn the 6 for a more comfortable fit but it was very obvious the missing patches of sequins. The 4 did fit but didn't leave a lot of room for movement. Good thing this was not a dancing type event.

The fit was perfect and very flattering, I had some challenges with the top because I have a large chest but it made for amazing cleavage!
