This dress fit me perfectly until I gorged on food in Paris and then had a wedding... but it was still wearable! Since there is a cut out on the side, you cannot wear spanx, but CAN wear a normal bra, which is a positive! I am 5'7" and was able to wear heels without a problem. The color is beautiful and compliments most skin tones! If you don't mind sucking in your stomach for the day, this dress is worth it! I got so many compliments :)

I love this dress! I bought it from RTR I loved it so much. I wore this dress to a work Gala and received a ton of compliments. I felt so elegant and powerful in it. The fit was absolutely perfect. The cut out hit me in right above the waist and the material is nice and thick so it hides any flaws. I highly recommend this dress if you want to make a statement. 

Absolutely adored this dress! It's formal to fit the 'formal occasion' requirements, while having just a bit of an edge to make it stand out. The fit was spot on, even for being 4 months postpartum. The length was just right on me, but anyone over 5'5'' planning to wear heels might be cautioned that it could run just a bit short. 
The color of this dress is really breathtaking! I would happily recommend it, & hope for another event I could wear it to.

This was a fantastic dress for the outdoor wedding we went to in Jamaica. I went with the 10R for a little more length and moving room for dancing. It was thick enough to not show every lump, but not so thick that it was overwhelming in the heat. I had never done a cutout before (I'm a pretty conservative dresser), but I felt sexy with just this little triangle missing. My husband loved it too, and liked having his hand right there all night. 

For women who prefer higher heels, you may want to order the long - I'm 5'6" and the regular skimmed the ground in a low 1" wedge sandal for me. Loved that I could wear a normal bra. The skirt flairs out for more of a mermaid fit (but it's not too tight).  I got a ton of compliments too!

I wore this dress to a gala at a conference. Overall, I liked it a lot! I got tons of compliments. It was definitely a little bit too long, but I have pretty short legs. The pieces of ribbon that you hang it on kept sneaking out the cutout, which was pretty annoying. If it was mine I would definitely cut them off. Also, by the time I ate dinner it was definitely feeling a little tight, so maybe size up? Other than that I say go for it! 

Loved this dress. The fabric was just thick enough to suck you in and was overall very flattering. Comfortable for dancing and length was great with 4-5" heels for a short person like my (5'1")

The dress was a bit snug for me, but I think I'm in denial about my size so not the dresses fault. I absolutely loved the dress so I decided to wear it - snug and all. I do have a little tummy pooch, but I received so many compliments that night and I actually felt beautiful wearing it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!
I also rented the jewelry from here as well. Everything was great. 

I wore this dress to a formal wedding I attended in San Diego, California. I ordered a 6R, but ended up wearing the backup 8R for the event because the size 6 was just a little too snug around my hips. I'm 5'7" and probably should have ordered the long, but it worked out well with kitten heels. The dress had a few wrinkle lines at the bottom so I wish I had thought to steam those out ahead of time. Overall, the color was great and the material was very comfortable. 

Liked the cutout on the side, however the bottom part seemed to dig in on this one and the size up. Can wear a regular bra with it no problem. 

The 6 was slightly loose in the thigh area, but the 4 was unbearably tight in the airport area. I am 5'4" and had on 4 inch heels and the regular length was exactly where it was supposed to be above the floor. I loved this dress!

I rented this for a black tie optional wedding. It was definitely a fun choice with the cutout! I rented a long size after reading reviews. I wore the larger size as the dress was pretty fitted throughout the hips. The color is not as green as it appears in my picture--I had to lighten my picture to show the dress better. It is the teal blue color as pictured on the website. I wore nude shoes but the dress could be paired with any color shoes and a variety of jewelry. Very versatile!

Great color got tons of compliments! I'm 5'6 and the regular was the perfect length with average heels on. I'm curvier so thankfully I got the 6 when I'm typically a 4 because the cut out on the side the seam isn't stretchy so when sitting down it can be quite tight. The material was nice a little thick so not really recommended for a hot outdoor wedding but we were inside so it was perfect. Would definitely recommend 

This dress was very flattering, light and gorgeous. Everyone complemented on the color. Wish I didn't have to return it.  

I fell in love with this dress. I wore it for a black tie optional wedding. The 0R fit me perfectly, but I also ordered the 2R as I read some reviews saying it was snug. The material is super stretchy making it form fitting which I loved. The top seam of the cutout was a little tight on my ribs, but not to where it was uncomfortable. I didn't even bother to try on the 2R, as everything I've rented I've been true to size in the 0. The color is rich and gorgeous - perfect for a formal event. With its simple design, your options for jewelry are endless. It took everything I had to send this dress back, I wish it was mine for good! I received so many compliments on it!

Classy but sexy dress because of large cut out ! Runs true to size for gowns, if you have hips or curves you may want to go up one size 

Very pretty dress, but a bit tight in the waist--I'd recommend sizing up for your backup size. Also, the material is somewhat thick, so better for winter than summer.

This dress fits true to size, and it has a little stretch so it can hug the curves while fitting snugly around your waist. As another reviewer mentioned, the neck can be a bit tight when you sit down if you don't adjust. Also, I had to pull it down at the hips/waist a few times because it was starting to ride up a bit (too much dancing), but for the most part it stayed put. Super fun dress. Stylish and beautiful color. I got lots of compliments.

It fit perfectly, the only thing is I should have ordered the long because I like when my gown sweeps the floor.

This dress is AWESOME! I ordered the 0R and 2R but wore the 2R. It was a bit tighter than expected in the rib area but perfect everywhere else! 

I didn't end up wearing the dress because it was a little to formal for my party but the color is great and I love the fit! Rent it! 

The dress is form fitting but in a stretchy way. It was very comfortable and I didn't feel fidgety in it at all. It is completely floor length, I had to wear 4ish inch heels. (I'm 5'5"). This side slit is perfect, a little higher than it seems. Top of my ribs but not high enough for my bra to peek out. I will totally rent this again. 

I chose this dress because it was formal looking but the cutout keeps it looking young/edgy. The color looks a little different in person (not as blue) I got laid of complements on how unique it looked. It was a little tight around the hips/butt probably because it's sort of a mermaid style. This didn't bother me while sitting. Also, I wore nude heals and a Swarovski necklace that I rented from RTR. I would definitely remmed some type of statement jewelry because the dress is a solid color. 

I ordered the 2P and 4R (4P was not available). I ended up wearing the 2P because it hit the ground perfectly with flats--no heels is a bonus in my book. I am 5'2". 

The big difference and reason why I didn't wear the  4R is the cut-out sat a little more oddly/less flattering on me, I think because it is longer.

0 fit perfectly despite some bagginess in the chest, but that could easily be hidden with a bigger bran! Non stop compliments on how classy I looked for senior prom! Will definitely rent again 


The color drew me to this dress because I thought it would go well with my hair. I wore it to my work holiday formal, which was also my first time getting all dressed up since having my baby 4 months ago. 

The 6R fit well and was the perfect length with 3.5 inch heels. I loved the cutout—it felt like just the right amount of skin.

My only issues with the dress were undergarment related. I had to try a few normal bras to find one that didn't show below the cutout and the one that worked had a slight wrinkle on the cup that showed. I think shapewear would have been a better choice than a thong but it worked well enough. 

But I didn't worry about any of that while I was wearing the dress at my event! Someone said I looked like a mermaid, which totally made my night. I got so many compliments and it was fun to feel so elegant and sexy. I needed the boost after having my baby! 

As always, the rental process was smooth and stress-free. The hardest part was deciding which dress to pick!

I wore to a formal wedding and received compliments all evening long! From the fit, to the color, and it's flexibility, I was very pleased with my decision. I ended up wearing the 4R as the dress does run a bit small in the torso, however that was a personal preference. I am normally a 2 so either would've fit well, the larger size just provided a tad more flexibility. Will definitely rent again! 

The amount of compliments I got on this dress was amazing. It's sexy with the cut out yet conservative. This dress showed all of my curves which I LOVED! I am a 8 or 10 in dresses depending on the cut but I went with the 8. It fit like a glove! RENT THIS DRESS! 

The dress was awesome! First off... i'm 5'9 and definitely needed the Long! I ordered the regular, new the size 4 fit, and RTR overnighted me the long for the event. I got compliments all night long and the color was definitely a stand-out at a blacktie event. I didn't feel like any thing was hanging over on the cut-out, however that area did feel super tight. It was worth it! 

This is the first dress I've rented, and I'm so glad I did! This dress has a great fit. The fabric has a little stretch to it, so it's comfortable to dance in. 

Felt like a mermaid in this beautiful teal gown. Loved the cutout on the side! My only issue was that they did not have my size in petite, so even wearing 4inch heels and making the front hem of the dress shorter with some fashion tape, it was dragging on the floor a tad. Overall, it was a great dress. Can't wait to rent more similar to this one!

I wore the OR even thought it was a bit tight on me around the cutout area and hips. I could still move fine but could sometimes feel it cutting into me on my side. Definitely needed to wear the right underwear to prevent the lines from showing. The 2R fit better but the length was too short (I'm 5' 4") with heels. Got lots of compliments throughout the night and felt fabulous! Wore to an awards banquet for work. 

This was my first RTR experience and I was a little nervous leading up to the event with regards to exact fit of the dress!  The other reviews state that this dress runs small, and to order up a size... I did not find this to be the case.  I ordered both a 6L and a 4L, due to my height being 5'9".  I ended up wearing the 4L!  It fit like a glove and the material is so comfortable!  I absolutely felt like a star in this dress all night, and the color is fantastic! 

Loved the color, the fit is very sexy and enhances your curves. It was comfortable and with a great necklace or earrings would be stunning for a more formal evening. It was my backup and I wore my first choice so I didn't wear it. I am 5'8" and it was barely long enough with flats so be aware of this if you are tall.  It definitely enhances your bum nicely especially with a good pair of Spanx!

Beautiful color! I was worried the color would be too bright in person, but it stood out in the most positive and gorgeous way. People kept telling me I looked elegant and classy all night long to this day. The size is a bit snug and the side opening kept getting baggy but not a big deal. Extremely satisfied with the dress!

The dress was very comfortable. It stretches a little so when you sit, it doesn't feel tight. I'm 5'5 and the length was perfect with heels. Advice: do some side crunches so you can really show off that side slit. 

I wore this to a friend's wedding last May where the attire was black tie optional. I felt really special in this dress and got a lot of compliments. When I rented this dress the size and fit suggested ordering a long for my height (5'6'), but the long was WAY too long and I had to have a 6R delivered from the NYC store. I would suggest sizing up if you have larger hips or backside. The fabric has some stretch and is very comfortable. 

The dress was a little long, I'm 5"4 and wore 3 inch heels but kept kicking it out when I walked so I wouldn't step on it. The photos and reviews were pretty helpful, so the color I got was what I was expecting. However, the chest area is a little roomy if you are smaller on top like me, but the part where it joined the skirt was very snug so I could see how other people complained that it was tight.  Overall a beautiful dress and would rent again!

I wore this to a summer wedding at a fancy hotel and everyone went nuts over it. It's a classy and comfortable dress, a real show stopper. I went up a size because it was a little tight through the hips.

The color of this dress is amazing, especially for a pale redhead like myself. I am usually a size 4 but rarely a size 2 so I ordered both in the long length.  I technically could squeeze myself into the 2 because the material is slightly stretchy but because it was so fitted, it tended to ride up when I walked so I ended up wearing the 4.  The 4 fit really well. The only thing is that the torso was SLIGHTLY too short for me (I'm 5'10) but it was only really something that I noticed. The length was absolutely perfect with comfy 2.5 inch heels. I found that a regular bra worked perfectly.  One of the garment straps used for hanging the dress fell through the cutout but I just tucked it into my bra and it was no problem.  I loved the dress and the Rent the Runway process was so easy. Definitely recommend!
