This was a fantastic dress for the outdoor wedding we went to in Jamaica. I went with the 10R for a little more length and moving room for dancing. It was thick enough to not show every lump, but not so thick that it was overwhelming in the heat. I had never done a cutout before (I'm a pretty conservative dresser), but I felt sexy with just this little triangle missing. My husband loved it too, and liked having his hand right there all night. For women who prefer higher heels, you may want to order the long - I'm 5'6" and the regular skimmed the ground in a low 1" wedge sandal for me. Loved that I could wear a normal bra. The skirt flairs out for more of a mermaid fit (but it's not too tight). I got a ton of compliments too!

I wore this dress to a gala at a conference. Overall, I liked it a lot! I got tons of compliments. It was definitely a little bit too long, but I have pretty short legs. The pieces of ribbon that you hang it on kept sneaking out the cutout, which was pretty annoying. If it was mine I would definitely cut them off. Also, by the time I ate dinner it was definitely feeling a little tight, so maybe size up? Other than that I say go for it!

I didn't actually end up wearing this dress but LOVED it. The BCBG dress I wore didn't have a back up size so this was my back up and it was so hard to choose! I went with the other one but could have worn either and felt gorgeous. The dress hugs your body really well (normally I don't wear "body con" dresses) and the color was vibrant. The black exposed zipper added a little edge! Not very long, I'm a true 5'11'' and I would have work 1-2'' heels at most but all over a stunning dress.

I wore this dress for a friend's black tie wedding. It was a thicker fabric with a bit of stretch. The cutout hit a perfect spot on my body and the fit was very flattering. If you have curves, the dress will accentuate them a lot. Loved it!

It was amazing and everyone loved it! Very comfortable and an amazing color. The top of the 0 fit really well, but the bottom of the 2 fit better than the 0 so I went with the 2. I wore 4ish inch heels and still had to do a temporary hem of the bottom of the dress. I hemmed only the front half using a lot of fashion tape.

The dress fit extremely well. It was also a really high quality material and did not wrinkle all night. The dress is tight all the way down to the mid-thigh area which I really liked. The only thing I can think of that was a little annoying was I had to pull it up to sit down or the material was stretched too tightly over my back and butt. But this was such a small thing. I loved this dress and would highly recommend it.

I wore this dress to my Junior Prom and got SO many complements. It is definitely a very tight fit but not overly difficult to walk in. I am nearly 5"4 and should have ordered the petite because even with 5 inch heels it was still too long. It is very flattering and a gorgeous color.

You can't see from the picture, but the cutout was on the left side, very tasteful. This is definitely a tight dress, but was still very comfortable, the length was perfect with 3-4 inch heels. I am a 36D but the bust still fit (tight, but not too tight). LOVED this dress. I really really did not want to send it back.

This dress is gorgeous! I got so many compliments, and I felt beautiful in it. I wore it to a black tie optional wedding and it fit perfectly. It was my first Rent the Runway rental so I went to the Flatiron store to try it on and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I got the dress right on time and it was in great condition. The material was great, the color looks even nicer in person, and it hugged my curves just right. The only thing I noticed was that when I sat down the neckline was a bit tight but it was nothing extremely uncomfortable, I barely noticed as the night progressed. Overall great experience, I will definitely be renting other dresses!

Gorgeous dress. I wore this dress to a destination wedding. I got several compliments on both the color and the fit. It hugged my curves in all the right places and had the perfect amount of stretch. I would suggest sizing up if you have fuller hips and a backside. Definitely would recommend this dress for women with an hourglass shape.

I picked this dress because I had a baby 3 months ago and I needed something to fit my DD chest and not make me look frumpy. It fit very well and I was able to wear a normal bra which was awesome! I'm only 5'2 so I did have to wear really tall shoes and even so it did drag a little. I'm usually between a 6 and a 8 but needed the 8 because of my chest size.

The dress was perfect to wear to a graduation ball. I wore the 6R, which fit great over my dd chest. The skirt was a bit loose for my taste but still looked great. The cutout was perfectly placed so I could still wear spanx and a standard bra. The length was a bit long on me (5'3) even with heels but definitely doable. Unfortunately the dress did come with two small marks on the chest area but they were unnoticeable so I did not mind.

When I first tried the dress on I was worried that I would end up sweating in it on the dance floor at prom. my little brother quickly explained that's why the designer put in the exhaust vent (aka the cutout at the waist. Turns out that little vent was super helpful throughout the night I was comfortable. I am very petite in the back and my 24inch waist did leave a bit of gapping between myself and the cut out portion of the dress, nothing compromising. The dress was pretty long. I am 5'3 and wore 4.5" heels and the dress touched the ground and the small train did get stepped on throughout the night. Overall the fit was great, comfortable, the fabric molded to my form and was relatively stretchy. It's a striking gown. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel sexy and classy at once.

I love the fit of this dress--the only downside was that the 4L was unavailable, and so, at 5-7", the 4R felt a little short with heels.

I LOVED THE DRESS! I am normally a 4 and I was worried to 2 would be too tight, but It fit! Little snug but not too bad. Loved the cut out, got complements all night. Thanks RTR!

This dress was beautiful. It was my first pick dress for a blacktie wedding. It has stretch and a slight flare at the bottom. BUT, I could not wear this dress because even with the highest shoes I own, it was still too long on me. Also, because of my petite frame the cut out kind of sagged unless I threw my shoulders back and stood tall. Also, I wore the other backup rent the runway dress I got and was happy I did so, because when I showed up to the blacktie event the majority of the people were wearing black and I felt like I really stood out. If I had been wearing this blue dress as opposed to the metallic dress, well, I probably would have gone back and changed! Rent this dress if you have a semi formal, outdoor or beachy wedding and you are like 5'4 or taller!

I am 5'7 and the length of this dress was tricky. I got the Regular and couldn't wear that high of a heal or it would have been too short.

This dress fit me perfectly until I gorged on food in Paris and then had a wedding... but it was still wearable! Since there is a cut out on the side, you cannot wear spanx, but CAN wear a normal bra, which is a positive! I am 5'7" and was able to wear heels without a problem. The color is beautiful and compliments most skin tones! If you don't mind sucking in your stomach for the day, this dress is worth it! I got so many compliments :)

I love this dress! I bought it from RTR I loved it so much. I wore this dress to a work Gala and received a ton of compliments. I felt so elegant and powerful in it. The fit was absolutely perfect. The cut out hit me in right above the waist and the material is nice and thick so it hides any flaws. I highly recommend this dress if you want to make a statement.

Absolutely adored this dress! It's formal to fit the 'formal occasion' requirements, while having just a bit of an edge to make it stand out. The fit was spot on, even for being 4 months postpartum. The length was just right on me, but anyone over 5'5'' planning to wear heels might be cautioned that it could run just a bit short. The color of this dress is really breathtaking! I would happily recommend it, & hope for another event I could wear it to.

The dress was a bit snug for me, but I think I'm in denial about my size so not the dresses fault. I absolutely loved the dress so I decided to wear it - snug and all. I do have a little tummy pooch, but I received so many compliments that night and I actually felt beautiful wearing it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I also rented the jewelry from here as well. Everything was great.

I wore this dress to a formal wedding I attended in San Diego, California. I ordered a 6R, but ended up wearing the backup 8R for the event because the size 6 was just a little too snug around my hips. I'm 5'7" and probably should have ordered the long, but it worked out well with kitten heels. The dress had a few wrinkle lines at the bottom so I wish I had thought to steam those out ahead of time. Overall, the color was great and the material was very comfortable.

The 6 was slightly loose in the thigh area, but the 4 was unbearably tight in the airport area. I am 5'4" and had on 4 inch heels and the regular length was exactly where it was supposed to be above the floor. I loved this dress!

I rented this for a black tie optional wedding. It was definitely a fun choice with the cutout! I rented a long size after reading reviews. I wore the larger size as the dress was pretty fitted throughout the hips. The color is not as green as it appears in my picture--I had to lighten my picture to show the dress better. It is the teal blue color as pictured on the website. I wore nude shoes but the dress could be paired with any color shoes and a variety of jewelry. Very versatile!

I fell in love with this dress. I wore it for a black tie optional wedding. The 0R fit me perfectly, but I also ordered the 2R as I read some reviews saying it was snug. The material is super stretchy making it form fitting which I loved. The top seam of the cutout was a little tight on my ribs, but not to where it was uncomfortable. I didn't even bother to try on the 2R, as everything I've rented I've been true to size in the 0. The color is rich and gorgeous - perfect for a formal event. With its simple design, your options for jewelry are endless. It took everything I had to send this dress back, I wish it was mine for good! I received so many compliments on it!

This dress fits true to size, and it has a little stretch so it can hug the curves while fitting snugly around your waist. As another reviewer mentioned, the neck can be a bit tight when you sit down if you don't adjust. Also, I had to pull it down at the hips/waist a few times because it was starting to ride up a bit (too much dancing), but for the most part it stayed put. Super fun dress. Stylish and beautiful color. I got lots of compliments.

This dress is AWESOME! I ordered the 0R and 2R but wore the 2R. It was a bit tighter than expected in the rib area but perfect everywhere else!

The dress is form fitting but in a stretchy way. It was very comfortable and I didn't feel fidgety in it at all. It is completely floor length, I had to wear 4ish inch heels. (I'm 5'5"). This side slit is perfect, a little higher than it seems. Top of my ribs but not high enough for my bra to peek out. I will totally rent this again.

I ordered the 2P and 4R (4P was not available). I ended up wearing the 2P because it hit the ground perfectly with flats--no heels is a bonus in my book. I am 5'2". The big difference and reason why I didn't wear the 4R is the cut-out sat a little more oddly/less flattering on me, I think because it is longer. Rent it.

0 fit perfectly despite some bagginess in the chest, but that could easily be hidden with a bigger bran! Non stop compliments on how classy I looked for senior prom! Will definitely rent again
