Love the high/low, especially being short- didn't have to worry about the dress being too long. The pockets are fantastic! I carried my phone in one and ID and chapstick in the other. The zipper is on the side and I needed an extra set of hands to pull it up. Even with the back V, you can wear a regular bra.

I wore this to a gala. It runs larger then I expected so I used safety pins to help with sizing. So recommend sizing down on this. Otherwise it was a great dress and I received a lot of compliments.

I wore this dress to a formal event and got lots of compliments! It fit great and was super comfortable.

Great fit for petites, not too long or short and paired well with a bolero. My only issue with the dress was, as mentioned by others, the zipper at the waist. It took some added hands to zip up (thanks to my husband!) but overall a great dress. Would recommend ordering an extra size up in case you are in between sizes like myself. 

It was beautiful. Wore to a rehearsal dinner and actually hid a hip brace under it. However, I laughed sitting down and the zipper just busted. It wasn't too tight either. I have had trouble with zippers actually zipping up on most of my dresses/shirts I get from here 

The size 16 fit perfect.  I received the 18 as a back up size as well.  It should be noted that this dress, the 18, was SMALLER than the 16.  I think someone altered it.  I am really glad the 16 worked out because I would have been really sorry if I needed the 18.

I wore this dress to a friend's wedding and was 15 weeks pregnant. This dress was comfortable and hid my small bump. I received a lot of compliments on this dress and thought it was flattering. Would rent again.  

This dress caught my eye when I was shopping for my event. I must have rented and tried four other but wound up with my first choice and it was absolutely perfect for the formal banquet I attended. I wanted something modern and fun, but needed something that was more modest. 

The fit was great. I didn't have any issue with gaping under the arms and it was nice to be able to wear a real bra. The top was plenty roomy for my nursing mama chest which was really a good thing. 

Just walking from my hotel room to the lobby I received four "you look fantastic" from random strangers. By the time we got to the banquet I was feeling pretty great about how I looked. 

After reading reviews, I wasn't super sure how it was going to run so I ordered my normal size and a size smaller. I ended up wearing the smaller size and probably could have worn even smaller if I had it. Overall great dress! I was worried the navy and black would be too similar in color but it looked great! I wore this to a formal event and it fit right in!

Worked great for a black tie optional wedding. The zipper on the side is tough - there was space but it's hard to do even when n the hanger. It took a lot of help from my husband to get this one. Once it was situated, looked amazing!

Let me just start with this is my favorite dress. The colors, pockets and the fact I could wear a real bra was WONDERFUL. However... the zipper is awful. I read the reviews about the pain in the ass zipper and I thought, 'Nah, can't be that bad, it's only a zipper.' I could not have been more wrong. After 2 people, a pair of plyers and 45 min later I was in. You may ask why did I go to all that trouble? Because the dress is WONDERFUL 

It was a little big. The size 2 would have been better. 

Fit was true. I didn’t have the right bra and went without but had no problems, and I am NOT small breasted. The pockets were an extra plus. The zipper was a bugger but I worked around it. Overall it was perfect and I got lots of complements on it. 

Fits true to size. Zipper is difficult- the trick to the zipper is to put the dress on, take your arms out, turn the dress so the zipper is in the front (instead of the side), then zip it up and turn the dress to the correct position. I wore 2 inch heels and the dress did not touch the floor. Very comfortable, the fabric is pleated so that it does not make your waist look teeny-tiny, and it emphasizes the booty.

I love a good A-line Dress and this one did not disappoint. I recieved many compliments and it was very comfortable as well! 

I felt amazing in this dress! It's so classy. I wore it to a formal charity gala. The dress definitely ran large. I read other comments and based on that, ordered a 4 and a 2 (I'm usually a 6). I ended up wearing the 2! You should definitely size down on this one. If you are on the shorter side, the high-low style on the dress is more subtle, which I actually loved. 

There’s no give in the fabric whatsoever so if you’re unsure of the size go up one. 

Beautiful dress!  Got lots of compliments.  Bulged a little at the armholes.

This dress hid my small baby bump well (I was 15 weeks pregnant in these photos). The fabric around the waist and rib cage was very fitted and non-stretchy, so I don't know if I could have worn this size or style much later in my pregnancy. The cut is both flattering and comfortable. I could fit into both the 0 and the 2, but the 2 was more comfortable because of the pregnancy (I was ~120 lbs at this time). At my normal weight (110-115), I would have definitely worn the size 0. 

Beautiful dress. The zipper was difficult to pull up, even on the size that was too large. I felt confident and comfortable! 

LOVED to pockets, that made the dress along with no need to wear Spanx. I’m size 12 top, 14 lower. I got the 14, 12 not available. Arms a little big, nothing fabric tape and a shawl couldn’t take care of. Waist was loose. Very comfortable dress to wear 6 plus hours. Got several compliments. 

So elegant! Love: pockets, fit, high/low hemline. Didn't love: ZIPPER IS A NIGHTMARE. Makes the dress so hard to get into. It is a side zipper so I had to put the dress partially on, twist it a little, zip past the waist then wiggle into it fully before zipping it completely. That said, once I was in it the dress was great. Very elegant and perfect for a formal event. The blue skirt was darker than I expected but it was fine. 

The dress fit nicely. It was a little wrinkly out of the bag but nothing that a lil steam couldn't fix. The major complaint that we had was both dresses the zipper was horrible! It was difficult on and off. So difficult to the point that we only unzipped it a lil bit and pulled it over her head like a lil kid and the same for taking it off. Other than that the fit was great!

The dress received a lot of compliments. The bust was a tad big but otherwise fit perfectly. It was extremely comfortable and the pockets are an added bonus!

The zipper is extremely difficult to get over the seam where the skirt and the top meet, especially with the belt. I ended up wearing the bigger size solely so I could have a bit more room to work with the zipper. 
I wore this to a cocktail event, but feel you could go to a black tie event wearing it, due to the material and shape of the skirt. The skirt flows well as you move and the pockets are great. 

Wore this to a black tie wedding. It fit well and looked nice. Had two problems - 1) took the jaws of life to zip it past the waist belt - my husband and I spent about 30 minutes trying different maneuvers - turns out the belt pulls the zipper in an odd way that prevents the teeth from closing so took some creativity to get it on. 2) the waist band has no stretch so it gets uncomfortable when sitting for long periods, particularly if you’re eating a big meal. It also causes the belt to bunch up in a funny way. 
Either way, still glad I rented it as it was perfect for the occasion just want everyone to know what they’re getting into!

I wore this for my friends black-tie wedding. 
Pros: As many others have reviewed, this is a very classy yet fun dress. I received many compliments. You can add more style to it with accessories. The fact that you can wear it with the standard bra and have pockets are huge advantages. 

Cons: The bag of the dress was too long to dance--I stepped on it a few times and almost tripped. The belt was a bit off its place, but I think you can fix with tape. And the zipper... My friends helped me with the zipper and it took us a few minutes to do it.  

Overall, the cons together takes off one star, but everything else worths more than what it costs.

This dress was beautiful!!!!  The length was perfect with tall heels, and I received compliments all evening.  Would totally rent again!

I wanted formal but not too formal for a work gala, the high low was perfect! I'm usually a size 2 or 4 and I probably could have worn either in this but I rented a 2 based on reviews. It fit well when I was standing but this particular event included a very long dinner/speeches and by the end the band was getting uncomfortable. If I had to do it again I'd rent the size 4. 

Unfortunately RTR was out of a size 4, but the details said the dress runs a bit small so to order up. I wore the 6 and for the most part, it fit well. Was a little loose in the arms area.

Considering that I'm small in height (4'11), the high-low style of the dress was PERFET. :)

Great dress. I really enjoyed the cut of the dress, the hemline was nearly floor length in the back, and tee length in the front, it added a really nice flow to it. The high-waist line was also really flattering and covered up my 15 week bump -- could barely tell I'm pregnant! Black and navy were an excellent color combination, and the material was light and flowed nicely. Also POCKETS! This dress was a total compliment magnet. Would recommend. 

Very pretty dress that fit true to size. The 2 was out of stock on the date I needed, so I wore the 4. It was a little loose around the neckline, but otherwise fit comfortably. The pockets were a plus. 

The zipper was a major pain! But here's the solution: Put the dress on, but do not put your arms through the arm holes. Twist the dress so the zipper is in front, where you can more easily pull it up over the belt-line. Once that's done, rotate the zipper back to the side, slip your arms in the holes and then the zipper will slide easily up the rest of the way. 

The belt rode up a bit during the night, so I would recommend dress tape or a tiny safety pin to keep it in place. 

The high-low made it easy to move around all night.

My daughter loved wearing this dress to a banquet. She got many compliments and felt fantastic. She’s 5’ 7” about 130 pounds and the size 2 fit perfectly. It was our first time using rent the runway. She found the dress and asked me if she could do it. I’m glad we did because we had a great experience and can do this again for prom and other future events. 

This dress was perfect for my b-school's formal. Very flattering and glamorous. Received a lot of compliments! My only issue was the sticky zipper. It takes A LOT of strength to get it up, even though the dress definitely fit. Other than that, I loved it!

Some of the pros include: fits busty girls, can wear a bra with it. 
Some cons: It runs a bit large, the belt did not fall smoothly on me

The dress was fine. I didn't like that it was so wrinkled. Which made the dress seem bigger. The zipper was REALLY hard to zip on both dresses. We were afraid that we would break the zipper. But my hubby managed to get it to work.
