Sweet Almond Martini Dress

Overall the dress is great! The dress is made of a heavier material, but that made it better since I didn't have to worry about it riding up. The color is more of a dark gold than the very light gold shown in the model. The package also came with teeth whitening strips! That was a nice touch. The only downside is there is a hem along the midsection which can make your stomach appear a little larger than normal. It's perfect for a 1920's party if you accessorize it right!

I wore this to a Great Gatsby party and it was perfect! I am very petite and was nervous this would be too long but it was the perfect length. I loved this dress. It fit well, was comfortable, arrived in great condition, and looked awesome.

First RTR rental and it was perfect! The dress was high quality and the sequins were fun and flashy. The small was a perfect fit, but one word of warning is that it is a little short in the front. I didn't mind, but might be an issue for others. I didn't wear a bra with is as the back came down fairly low, but you could probably get away with one and just make sure the back strap is tucked a bit low. Got lots of compliment and felt great at my fiancé's 20s themed holiday party!

This dress runs a little big. The open back is beautiful in person and felt very comfortable to wear.

As a very narrow chested person, I have a hard time finding dresses that fit my upper body in a flattering way. This dress however, was perfect. It hugged my hips tight enough to show off my figure and then was just loose enough in the bust area to create a nice drape in the neckline. I did use tape on the side of dress to keep anything from showing too much. Because the side is cut so low, my arms never even touched the dress and I didn't have any irritation issues with the sequins. The dress is short, but not too short. All in all, I loved it!

Wore this for my bachelorette party. It was exactly what I wanted - gold and sparkly! My first RTR; very impressed. Two sizes was very helpful. Will be doing this again for my bridal shower!

This dress is amazing. You feel like a rock star and the fit was perfect. I think it would look great on any shape. My boyfriend couldn't get enough of me in this dress. He bragged to strangers about how much he thought I was the best dressed girl at the Cosmopolitan. I actually missed the delivery and was leaving for Vegas the next morning. Just in case I didn't get the dress, RTR sent me a back up straight to the hotel, no extra charge! Super great service. RTR makes any girl feel like a rock star.

Fit was great, the dress is a lot thicker and heavier than I thought, but that was great because I could go without a bra and I could dance without fear of being exposed ;-) I got compliments all night long, it was the perfect dress for my bachelorette bash! I double knotted the neck tie because since the top is heavy if it came undone I would be totally exposed. It was super comfy I was never pulling it at or anything. I may rent this one again!! Unfortunately the Medium was stretched out of shape and the lining showed all along the front, but thankfully the Small fit perfectly!

There wasn't a huge difference between the small and medium, but I decided to go with the small because the M had a little too much fabric. It was really comfortable, besides the fact that the slip underneath was right and slid up a lot. The fit was great and I found it really flattering on my curvy body

I rented this dress because of a special (it was like $19). I knew the M would be way too big, but I just belted it and it kind of turned the back into a relaxed low back dress. I wore it to a vintage NYE party and ended up winning best dressed. The sequins are heavy! but the dress is such a show stopper. You will get noticed all night!

I rented this dress for New Year's Eve at the last minute. There was only a Medium left, and it felt really big. The back of the dress was big as well as the waist! Otherwise, the experience with RTR is always incredibly and super easy!

This dress is a complete showstopper!!! Be prepared to get lots of looks. Dress runs small, so I would recommend sizing up. Also, I couldn't wear a bra with this dress. Another great RTR experience:)

I wore this to "law school prom" and LOVED it! It was so pretty on!

I rented this dress for a vacation to Las Vegas with friends. I felt SO FOXY in Vegas' swanky nightclubs, and I really stood out in a sea of black. I was a bit nervous about where the waistline hit, but when I saw the dress in photos I definitely looked great! The neckline is low-ish so you'll either be going bra-less (which I did) or wearing a nu-bra. Maybe not a good choice for larger-breasted women. I wore this dress twice in a row and by the second day the undersides of my arms were just a *bit* chaffed from all the sequins, dancing, etc. etc.I paired it with jewelry I rented from Rocksbox.

This dress will definitley turn heads! The gold sequence is hard to miss and will make you stand out in a crowd. There was not much room in the hips, but I am pretty hippie. If you are a true small, you will not have any problems.

I ordered this dress for NYE and it fit perfectly. The dress was a little short, but not terrible. So many compliments and my husband loved it! It was a little tricky putting the dress on because there is no zipper. I was able to wear a strapless bra, I recommend some fashion tape though.

This dress fit perfectly! Everything fell just right - wasn't too short and the neck wasn't too revealing. It was pretty comfortable, by the end of the night, the sequins were a little bothersome under the arm though. Also looked great with black tights!

I loved this dress! And I have to commend Rent the Runway for their wonderful customer service. I had initially rented another dress for my birthday but I had changed my mind and they worked with me to send me other dress options. Thank goodness this dress was available! I was able to receive everything in time for my event and I felt absolutely fabulous! Now for the actual dress, it ran just a little bit large. I wore the medium and had to cinch the waist in with the belt. Despite the slightly larger fit, I don't think I would have squeezed into a small. The dress itself is very forgiving but it's just the right amount of sexy. Absolutely loved it! If you want to stand out, I would definitely recommend renting this dress!

I loved this dress and received LOTs of compliments and praise concerning the look. I wore it in Vegas for a bachelorette party. It's a bit short in front and you could size up to make it a little less so. I wore the suggested size for my body and it worked out. But, if I had been sitting down a lot, I might have been worried about showing my undies. Overall, it's beautiful and dazzling! Stop here, rent this dress!

I rented this dress for my bachelorette party and it was absolutely perfect! I love the gold sequins and pizzazz! I read reviews that the liner was tight so I got the medium and large--ended up wearing the medium because the large was waaay too big. Had no issue with the liner being too tight. Definitely have to wear a stick-on bra, that back is wide open. So comfortable and a perfect dress for a special night!

The dress fits pretty true to size! It may even run a teensy bit large (emphasis on the teensy). Make sure you use dress tape!

Overall this is an amazing dress - it is rather short, but that is what I wanted for the occasion. Perfect for a night out.

This dress was absolutely beautiful! I expected it to be a little large since I am so tiny, but it really fit well. I am 5'0" and about 100 lbs. It's pretty fitted in the bottom, giving a nice silhouette, but loose and slinky at the top. I felt great and everyone at my formal affair complimented me on how beautiful I looked. I have a small bust so I opted out of a bra and wore petals, it worked just fine. I would imagine larger busts would need to find a bit more support, since the dress is roomy in the chest area. The sequins are more matte which I loved; you get the shimmer and shine effect without looking like a gaudy disco ball. When you walk the fabric slides and reflects light, so it's a true head turner. Loved it!

You can 100% wear a strapless bra with this dress if you need to! I almost didn't order it because I am busty and have to wear a bra and all the reviews said you could not wear one however if you tie the halter a little tighter it pulls up the back and covers the bra strap. Super comfortable and I didn't have to mess with it at all during the night which is a huge plus! Also no spanx required because it is lined. Great dress

I wore this dress to homecoming and i've never felt so confident and gorgeous! i received compliments all night long. the dress is very flattering but I still chose to wear Spanx underneath. Definitely needed the NuBra for some support.. the dress doesn't offer any whatsoever. The sequins aren't too much, though, because they're almost matte, not super shiny and glittery like you would expect. The color flattered my skin tone and the red heels topped the look off. I chose to do the surprise jewelry and received a stunning pair of Kenneth Jay Lane earrings. They were HUGE but it was definitely the best final touch. I'm so happy with my experience at RTR! Thank you guys for making my night one to remember!

This dress had a forgiving fit - if you're in between sizes you could probably wear either. It's comfortable for a big night out of eating, drinking, and dancing. It's a little more gold than it looks in the picture. Fashion tape is a must if you are more busty, but you definitely need to go bra-less with this low cut dress. Absolutely loved it! It was the best choice for my rooftop bar, club, trendy restaurant bachelorette party!

AMAZING AMAZING DRESS!!! I highly recommend it. It fits slightly snug through the hips, and you can't wear a bra with it. The sequins are such a high quality and the cut of the dress reminds me of old Hollywood glamour. I was very sad to return this dress.

I rented this for a weekend in Vegas. The dress was comfortable and gorgeous. I wore my own strapless bra with it, and it was a perfect fit. The dress was very sparkly and flattering. Perfect for Vegas!

This dress was gorgeous! I wore it for my 21st birthday and it was perfect. It was a little big on the waist part but fit perfectly on my hips, I think if I had worn the small it would have been too tight.

This dress was absolutely perfect. i got compliments on it all night. The color was beautiful and it fit very well. since i play volleyball my legs are fairly muscular so the dress was a little more snug in the hips than i wanted but with the wrap of the dress you couldn't tell. it was a good length and amazing quality. im a size 4 on top and a size 6 on bottom. the small was way too tight in the hips.

I felt great in the dress, but it needed a couple of tweaks. I needed to double side tape the back and sides because they drooped a little for me (which made the waist line uneven in front and back). Since it was taped, I felt like I needed to be careful with my movements with sitting and bending over. I also had to wear a bra (front only) so I wasn't completely flat- there is no hiding what you have, whether large or small :) The length was perfect, the color was great and I got lots of compliments, but I probably wouldn't rent again based on not being totally comfortable. If it was a dancing party I would have been fidgeting all night.

The dress fit almost perfectly and was so stunning in the lights and photos. The length was short but not too short and showed off my legs; the back was a little loose but that's probably due to my smaller chest, and the waist was not as snug as I would have liked but belting it helped. All in all this dress was perfect for the occasion, and I felt like society royalty in it!

The back wasn't tight enough so it fell to below my waist so I couldn't wear any sort of bra with it. I'm a 32c and even with Hollywood tape it wouldn't stay up in the back. I wore it to a 1920's party. Other than that I loved it!! I got a lot of compliments the whole night!

I rented this dress for New Year's Eve. I had to size up because the lining in the dress was very tight even though the dress itself was okay. The first thing I noticed is that the dress is sooo heavy, and the only thing to hold it up is the thinest string imaginable (mine came frayed and literally holding by a thread), but during the night it didn't bother me and the dress stayed up comfortably. I was able to go without a bra comfortably with nothing showing, since the sequins are pretty thick. It ended up being a great dress! Very sexy and flattering! I am normally not a sexy sequin-y dress kind of girl, but for New Year's it was such a fun, bold change.

I wore this for a rehearsal dinner (and night out after) and got tons of compliments on it! Like most halter tops, it got a little uncomfortable toward the end of the night. But besides that it was comfortable and cute! I would definitely recommend it.

Loved this dress! I ordered the xsmall and small and ended wearing the small. That is because I have some hips so the xsmall did not fit me on the bottom. The small was a tad large on top for me but I am small up top.... It wasn't too large though! I did not have the wear a bra and did not have to worry about anyone seeing anything! All-in-all my first RTR experience was amazing!!
