I loved this dress! Got so many compliments and really thought the fit was flattering. Color was perfect for an outdoor summer wedding : ) I typically measure larger up top than my bottom half, so the top was a little tight. I usually wear a 2-4 and wore the 4.

The fit is tight in the waste so size up based on waste size! 

This dress was one of the first items I got with Rent the Runway and, I was so impressed. The dress quality is very nice and thick. I wore this press to a wedding in Austin. Texas where the weather is very warm. This dress was lovely with no sleeves but, not too warm, with the thick material. It is a DREAM to dance in! 

I wore this to my wedding anniversary brunch at the Polo Lounge and it was perfect. The bust is tight but the bottom half is super fun and made me feel like a ballerina. Definitely get the larger free backup size. Unfortunately,  the size up for me became unavailable. By the end of the day I noticed the top of the dress became a bit baggier which then made my bust look odd because I wasn't wearing a bra. I really liked it overall but if you have a large bust maybe opt for a different dress. 

I wore this to a fundraiser that I organized after I realized just three days before the event that I never went out and bought a dress! This was comfortable and allowed me to entertain and scurry around a night without fear of a wardrobe malfunction.
Back up size was not available so I gambled and it fit perfectly. I usually wear size 12. (My bust is 34DDD) This dress was the perfect amount of support and I went braless with no worries for the first time in forever! Compliments all night! Worn with nude shoes and simple large earrings and one large cocktail ring:-)

Fit true to size and it felt like the dress from dirty dancing. So fun! 

This dress fit like a glove!  I'm 5'4 135lbs and it was perfect.  The pale pink is perfect.  The dress material is thick and is high quality.  I would definitely rent this again.  The only con is I had to send it back. 

Very, very tight in rib cage....could hardly zip! But, really enjoyed wearing it once on!

The quality of fabric on this dress is by far the best aspect of this dress, super thick and makes you feel like once you are zipper in nothing is going to move anywhere! The dress ran true to size...very fitted in the midsection and I think the top could have been a little more fitted but I am very small chested.

This dress made me feel beautiful and I received tons of compliments.  I paired it with grey heels, grey clutch, a statement ring and earrings.  I would not recommend a necklace.

I bought a steamer b/c it arrives very wrinkled.  This is a must!  You also need a strapless bra.  Lastly, because if the color i would recommend you be tan for it. Dress is fairly true to size but I'd suggest picking your second dress a size up because it's a little tight in the stomach.  Overall, I loved this dress an would recommend it to anyone.  

The dress is just beautiful. I received many compliments and I felt really beautiful in it. You won't be unseen!!! The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because when the dress arrived I have to take it to dry cleaning and steamed it!! Otherwise the bottom looks sloppy and the 'petals' are wrinkled. The petals looked like dented. The designer didn't think about  the tape on the bottom and It shrinks during the dry cleaning I guess. And that's how it is impossible to receive the dress ready to wear. You have to steam it!!!!


Definitely reminds me of the dress from the final dance in the movie "Dirty Dancing"...loved this and would BUY it!!

Looked so feminine and playful.  I felt like a princess.

I got so many compliments. The fit is true to size. 

Runs a little small. To make the skirt look better, iron over the seams, and steam the panels.  It really makes a difference.  The shape of the dress is beautiful, and very unique.  It is incredible to dance in, as the skirt is perfect for twirling around!  

When I first got it, it could barely zip up. But I wore it in the Dominican and it actually fit probably because I lost weight being there from sweating so much. Very thick material so probably not the best to wear in tropical climate but I felt so beautiful. It sucks in your stomach and pushes your boobs up too. Doesn't look like the picture but I liked the Ruffles and the flowyness of the bottom. Overall very happy with this dress! 

Rented this for my sorority 50's prom themed date party! The dress is pretty true to size. Wore the 4 since the straps fit better on my shoulders than those on the backup 6. The torso/waist section is corset-like so it was a little tight but still manageable. I love the skirt on this dress but it wrinkles easily so be ready to iron or steam it! I'm smaller-chested but I think the bust area of this dress would be pretty comfortable for most women. Highly recommend, I can't wait to rent this dress again for another occasion!

Fit like a glove. I'm busty 30FF I didn't need a bra. The material held everything in just wonderfully. 

Only issue. Showed up kinda dirty and it appeared it's not been previously dry cleaned. =/

Great fit! I wasn't completely wowed with the dress. Maybe too much pink or felt like it needed more flair, but it served it's purpose.

They had to overnight this one because the first 2 did not fit. It definitely runs small so size up! The bodice is quite tight and it holds you in, so no need for any smoothing girdles, which was great. I still needed a bra just to push my boobs up so they didn't look flat. After eating a 3 course meal at a very fancy wedding and drinking all night, I was quite miserable with how tight it was, but it looked great. I would rent it again, but probably in the black and white style that I originally rented. 

Had to iron the bottom of the dress so it would look somewhat presentable ... That's the only con. The color was beautiful and I felt good in it.

I wore this for New Years Eve. Dress is absolutely beautiful. So glad I had 2 sizes. I'm normally a 4 and I was busting out of the 6. Couldn't fit a bra under it with my bust.   Also agree that the skirt part needs to be run over with a steamer or iron and it still looked wrinkly in my opinion. These are just notes to be aware of but it's honestly such a pretty dress and really flattering in all the right areas. Was really happy with it and literally got compliments all night. 


Fun and flirty, lots of compliments, the dress came wrinkled so be prepared to steam it lucky I worked for a retail store and the owner let me come in to use her nice steamer.  

I ordered both the 0 and the 2.  I ended up wearing the 0, although it was a little bit snug in the waist, the 2 looked a little too big.  I usually have problems with dresses not being proportional to my petite frame, but this one fit perfect!  I would definitely recommend this dress. :)

I loved this dress, it went perfectly with my fiance's blue suit and light pink shirt. I wanted something that was simple but yet romantic! I will say that this dress needs to be weary of heavy busty girls. I am a size 6 but had to wear the size 8 because of my bust... which as a 32DD still had a very hard time getting up even with the 8! I don't remember reading that anywhere in a review before or else I would have known, maybe good to plan on not wearing a bra? Anyway I would have given it 5 stars and I would not want anyone to hesitate to get this dress!! 

I am almost always a 10 and based on the reviews I ordered the 12 and the fit was perfect! The only downside is that the bottom did not look like the shape in the model photos but I still loved wearing it! 

It runs very very small. I have a 30 G bra size, am 5 Ft 1". I weigh 125 and usually wear a size 2 and the size 4 was very small in the chest area but I made it work. The ordered 2 sizes the 4 and 6 but 6 was way to big in my waist. I would order a dress again from RTR but the one negative thing was that the size 4 was torn at seam under my arms but I wore it anyway just because I could hide it but had I not been able to hide it I would have been in a tough situation. Love love the dress ! 

I rented to this for an end of summer brunch. The dress is very fitted in torso area, fits like a corset. I did have an issue with the straps one on the closures to secure the dress strap to the bra strap was broken and constantly required adjusting. I loved that this dress it gives the illusion of a small waist and elongates the torso. Loved it. I am in between sizes if the top is fitted and the bottom is full I opt for a size 2 if the dress is fitted I size up. Because the torso area of this dress is so fitted  one may want to consider a size up. I preferred the smaller size.

This dress fit beautifully - I don't think it ran small, though it didn't have any stretch, so if you're between sizes you'll want to order the back-up a size up from what you typically wear. One thing to note - you ABSOLUTELY MUST iron the seams that reinforce the "bubble" pleats because it comes with all sorts of puckers from the previous dry-clean.  I did this using a medium-high heat and low-steam setting and, from the inside of the dress, rolled the tip of the iron over the reinforcement a number of times so that it would roll back on itself (kind of like a snap bracelet). After ironing each one, I folded the pleat on the seam and gave it a quick once-over on the outside of the dress to ensure the outward bubbling would stay in spots where the dress wanted to pucker in. The puckers are not cute when left un-ironed. I would have given this dress 5 stars, but it takes some time to get it into wear-able shape, so just be aware before you rent! Totally worth the effort, though. Everyone at the wedding commented that my dress reminded them of a cupcake in the best way and it was a blast to twirl around in while dancing. 

The dress is beautiful and perfect for my homecoming dance. I received a ton of complements. The zipper is super sticky and difficult to zip.  I'm  a competitive swimmer and I was concerned the dress would not fit my back and shoulders.  The dress was tight in the bodice, but not too tight that I couldn't breathe or eat. Otherwise, it is fun to dance in and very comfortable.   I would love to rent this again!!

I rented this for my daughter and she looked so beautiful. She was very happy with this dress. It looks exactly like in the pic and the quality of the fabric was amazing. Would really recommend this dress it does run a little small recommend to go one size bigger. 

Fit true to size, great quality.  I brought mine to the dry cleaners to be pressed/steamed prior to wearing - would definitely suggest that.  

As others noted, fits snug in the waist and center area, straps tend to stretch a bit through the night, the fabric feels solid. It compliments most body types and is fun to dance in. I got the pleats steamed and fluffed day of event- highly recommend.

Fits very snug up top but otherwise holds its shape well. The silk is thick so it has a nice buttery hand feel too.

I loved EVERYTHING about this dress! At first the stomach part was snug not tight but it does loosen up as you're wearing it for this awesomely flattering look! It has your girls sitting up and not at attention but nicely smoothed out!!! It was flirty, fun and angelic all at the same time! I love how the skirt bowed out for a ballerina look. No CONS! Fit true to size, I wanted an 8 after the girls said it ran big but something happened at the last minute and the 8 couldn't be shipped. I was praying I didn't need the 8. The 10 was PERFECT! 

I absolutely love this dress! It fit a little tight in the bust but other than that it was a great dress! I went a size up and wore a 6 mainly because I have big boobs and that material doesn't stretch. 

So many compliments on this dress!! Defiantly need to steam/iron out wrinkles in the skirt. 

It was snug around my rib cage, and the skirt is pretty intensely puffy. I was pleased that I could wear a regular strapless bra with it. The only issue was the boning in the skirt, it was wavy and looked messy.  I tried to press & steam it out but to no avail. Had I tried this dress on in a store I might have passed because of the skirt, but in this case it wasn't enough of a problem to make it so I didn't wear it. All in all lots of compliments.
