Dress is tight but true to size.  Super comfortable.  Great fit, amazing color.  Compliments all night.  I’d actually rent this again.  I hated to return it.

Fun color and fit!  Great for a summer wedding. Like a lot of the reviews say, it is form fitting, but very comfortable.  

As usual, this was a gorgeous Elizabeth & James dress. It definitely fit snug as this designer usually runs small. I didn't have to wear a bra which I loved. Highly recommend! 

I wore this dress to a friend's wedding and couldn't have loved it more. I got compliments all night (especially from my boyfriend who didn't want me to return it). It's so flattering--tight but the material hides any flaws, and the color is beautiful! As others have mentioned, it definitely runs small so size up. I absolutely plan to rent this dress again!

I wish I had this permanently!!  Fit great.  Runs slightly small.  Im 150 5'4 36 DD AND size 10 fit great.  

I have a booty and this dress definitely showed it off. It is flattering to curves in all the right places. The fabric is also pretty thick so it hugs you in. Because of the high neck cut, I didn't feel like I had to make adjustments all night. The dress online looks much more vibrant than it does in person, but the color is still pretty nonetheless. 

The fit was a little tight, but it was still very flattering on. The slit added a little bit of sexiness without baring too much. I had been waiting to rent this dress all year and it lived up to the expectation!

I ordered this dress in a 2 and 4. I'm 122lbs, 5'0 and a 34C. The occasion was for Vegas. The dress was actually very small and I barely fit into the 4! Uncomfortably tight around the rib cage area. I am usually between a 2 & 4, but never anything larger. The material was very thick whereas the picture looks thinner and more stretchy. It was an okay choice but not what I was expecting. Wouldn't personally order again.

I absolutely love Elizabeth and James dresses because they use such great material! This dress was a very pretty blue that changed colors depending on the lighting. The material is thick, so it hugs your curves perfectly, but doesn't show too much- therefore its perfect for eating and drinking! I am a little shorter so this length was perfect, but I would be cautious if you are tall. 

I loved this dress! It was super comfortable and a nice fun color for a outdoor summer wedding. It is hard to zip up by yourself so you might need a hand for that. 

The material fits like a glove and truly compliments your figure. It's classy, yet sexy, and was perfect for my date night to a party. I would absolutely buy this dress if I could!

loved this dress! fit very similar to other E&J dresses - very small. I'm normally a 4-6 but rented the 8 after reading the other reviews, and it was pretty fitted. absolutely beautiful color, great for a wedding - received lots of compliments. thick fabric so you don't have to wear a bra. overall great rental! 

It is a form fitting dress, so I definitely would suggest renting 2 sizes just to make sure. It was so comfortable and flattering, two words which never really come together. 
The blue is gorgeous and perfect for anytime of the year. I wore this to a bachelorette party, and one of the girls even wore it again the following night. 
If you want to show off your figure in a gorgeous color this is your dress.

Runs a little small.. usually wear a 0 but my back up size (2) fit perfect. Great color. The slit in the front made the dress. Totally recommend for a night out.

The dress was great, the fabric was thick but not too bad.  I tend to get hot and sweaty but this wasn't bad.  the fit was great, I'm glad I went up a size because of the reviews.  I wore a strapless bra but I wish I didn't, it showed up in pictures but the fabric was thick enough that I didn't have to.  the dress did ride up a little and bunch in my stomach but if I pulled it down before pictures it looked good.  I like the dress and would get it again.  I am 5'7, 36D, ~145 lbs

I rented this for a blue themed party at an art gallery. E&J tends to run small, but it fit perfectly. I loved it, my date loved it, random people we came into contact with throughout the night loved it. The color is bright, but not overpowering. It's definitely short, but I didn't feel like I needed to readjust it all night. And it's just overall super flattering. 

RENT THIS DRESS NOW! It's super comfy and very flattering. It does run small though -- I usually wear a 4 but read the reviews and sized up to an 8. I was wearing it to a work party so I didn't want it to be super tight. Love it! Wish I could keep it forever!

This was the perfect dress for Ringing in the New Year! Very cute cut. Pretty vibrant color. The dress was skin tight, but I prefer that type of fit.  Suggest to order a size up. 

The dress itself was gorgeous, I like the material because it was forgiving around the midsection.  It ran a little tight in the hips but I'm generally wide in that area.  Would definitely recommend.

I wore this to my S.O.'s holiday work party & got a lot of compliments on both the fit & color of the dress. It does run small, so the size 2 fit like a glove but at least the material is thick & somewhat stretchy. As long as you don't have a big meal it fits great..  the 4 wasn't available when I ordered, but I'd probably go one size up if you're more pear-shaped like I am.  :)

Both sizes I ordered fit, but the 2 was more comfortable than the 0. The color was a bit duller than pictured, which is the primary reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. I would recommend to a friend, but just know the color isn't completely realistic.

Pros: gorgeous blue, flattters figure, well made material. Loved this dress!  Wore to a fancy dinner.  It was a perfect fit for me. I'm 5'8" 140lbs athletic build. 36B, 27 waist, 36 hips. I would buy this dress!
Cons: make sure you have a strapless bra or one that has narrow straps at the front.  


the dress fit just the way I wanted. I was nervous about ordering a 2 because people said size up but the next size available so I had to bite the bullet and hope for the best, and it was perfect! if you want it to not fit as tight definitely size up but if you want a tighter fit go for your normal size. the dress doesn't have much stretch to it but just enough for it to be comfortable.

Rented this dress for my daughter's senior Homecoming dance. The theme was Hawaiian Luau and the vibrant blue dress was perfect. It is very tight, but once you get the dress zipped, the fabric magically relaxes and fits like a glove. The length was perfect and the dress was easy to move and dance in. Would highly recommend!

I wore this dress to my parents anniversary party.  The fit of the dress was amazing.  I felt like I was sewn into the dress.  The color wasnt as bright as the blue on the model, so I was a little bummed about that and the slit hit me at a different spot too.  But overall, pretty good rental!

I absolutely love the way Elizabeth and James dresses fit and this dress does not disappoint. I received several compliments and felt comfortable all night. It is on the shorter side, but still elegant enough for a wedding. I attended an outdoor wedding in 104 degree heat and was sweating by the end of the ceremony but nothing soaked through (thank god!). I wore this dress with Elizabeth and James Windrose Pave Cuff, Elizabeth and James Valencia Lariat Necklace, and Ella Carter Ryan Earrings (all rented) with nude wedges and a nude purse with gold chain. Highly recommend this dress for any occasion really. Easy to dress up or down.
Heads up for ladies with a little more bust, go a size up. The dress is still form fitting but will give you a little more room up top.
