Material was thick and had a bit of stretch, not a lot but enough to wear at a work conference and sit for long hours. Received many compliments on the color. Definitely want to purchase.

This dress does not disappoint and very flattering.  Size up 1 size if you have curves, especially D cup or larger.  Could be styled for work, brunch, dinner or semi formal event.

Amazingly comfortable & soft.  Easy to style.  Wore several times.  Structured & lined 

Black halo dresses fit me like a glove and this is a 3rd dress I had to buy because wow! Everything about this dress was just perfect including  the color.

Comfortable to wear, this dress is fully lined and breathes but there is little to no stretch. If you're between sizes, order up.

Another great Black Halo dress. Strapless bra is definitely needed because the straps are a bit different than usual. Perfect for work or fun!

I wore this for my older daughter's college graduation. It was so comfortable that I wore it all the way home to San Antonio from Dallas. Glad my self tanner went on smoothly. I am considering purchasing this one. 

I went a size up based on reviews and shouldn't have. The 8 was definitely wearable, but the 6 (my normal size) would have looked much better - there was obviously too much material on the 8 for my body and it didn't hug like it should. The color is gorgeous in person and it's a nice thick but not too warm sheath. Perfect for work, rent your normal size. 

Great fit on curves with still being conservative 

I loved this dress. It was perfect for my friend's baby shower. We all wore blue 

Wore this for work with a white blazer. Fitted and great length for me. 

So long as you get the sizing right, you can't go wrong with black halo. I'm a size 6-8 with bigger hips, but always size up to a 10 in black halo. this dress fit almost perfectly - was a tiny bit big in the chest on me due to needing the bigger size to accommodate my lower half. I got tons of compliments and felt confident on stage while presenting to a crowd of 400. the neckline is universally flattering and the color is so pretty. well constructed and sleek - this dress was a winner

Such a great dress. Perfect for work. Good, high quality fabric. A little snug for a size 6 (as in it was impossible to zip by myself) but once on, perfection.
