Like other Black Halo sheaths, this little number slays. Comfortable to wear, this dress is fully lined and breathes but there is little to no stretch. If you're between sizes, order up. I will definitely rent again.

Another great Black Halo dress. Strapless bra is definitely needed because the straps are a bit different than usual. Perfect for work or fun!

I went a size up based on reviews and shouldn't have. The 8 was definitely wearable, but the 6 (my normal size) would have looked much better - there was obviously too much material on the 8 for my body and it didn't hug like it should. The color is gorgeous in person and it's a nice thick but not too warm sheath. Perfect for work, rent your normal size.

So long as you get the sizing right, you can't go wrong with black halo. I'm a size 6-8 with bigger hips, but always size up to a 10 in black halo. this dress fit almost perfectly - was a tiny bit big in the chest on me due to needing the bigger size to accommodate my lower half. I got tons of compliments and felt confident on stage while presenting to a crowd of 400. the neckline is universally flattering and the color is so pretty. well constructed and sleek - this dress was a winner

Beautiful and flattering dress. I sized up to a 12 because I know this brand runs small, and that was the right call. It was just the slightest bit large in the shoulders but fit really well elsewhere without pulling. Nice high cut under the arms hides that pudgy area.

Ordered my usual size, could barely zip it - really tight in the chest and I am pretty small busted. It just looked way too tight and not appropriate for work. But it's a gorgeous dress, great color, flattering cut - can't wait to try it in another size.

Really disappointed I sized up and this still was soooo tight in the hips. If you are not so curvy this is a great find if you need something professional this color.

This is a gorgeous dress but it was too snug on me around the stomach. If I sucked in and stood still it looked great!

This dress definitely runs small, so size up. The cut at the neck and the color are so pretty. Somehow at 5'9", the dress came down below my knees - making me look super matronly, so ai didn't end up wearing the dress
