Loved this dressed! The pleating and lace were beautiful. I loved the high neck (was appropriate for a more conversative event) but the little opening in the back made it sexy. The only thing I didn’t like was the band around the waist. It was reeaallly tight, so I’d recommend going a size up. But would definitely rent it again! 

I wore this on my anniversary date night to a fancy restaurant. It is so comfortable, and the length was just perfect on my tall frame. I'm almost 6'.  Hit me right above the knees.

I had to rent this as a back-up just to see it.  It is a very unique, pretty dress, and one that is well made and classy.  I did not wear it due to other choices available, but would like to have this dress permanently in my closet.  I tried on both size 2 and 4, and found that size 4 would be my preferred size.

I liked the dress and received a few compliments.  It was uncomfortable when I sat down; it was too tight in the rib cage area.  However, the next size up, just did look as good.  A few people made comments about how they thought the nude material was my actual skin.

This dress was perfect for a timeless look. I'm usually about a size 4 however I wore the size 6 for a bit more comfortable feel. I am a 34DD and the size 4 seemed to snug in the breast area.  Received many compliments on a classy look. It was nice to wear something other than the typical sequins dresses most wore. Spiced it up with the faux fur shoulder shawl. 

Overall I really liked this dress. The design is very flattering- it accentuates your waist and the nude lining creates great curves. I didn't realize that the nude stripes on the dress are connected to the lining, so it's almost like a sheath with the black pleats creating a more forgiving A-line shape. I felt classy and elegant and it was fun to wear. The dress was in great shape- some people mentioning the elastic for the button closure in the back was stretched out,  but mine was perfectly fine. Also, I am a 34DD and I felt the bust was a comfortable (not too tight). I wore a sticky bra and it worked out fine. 

This dress was overnighted as my original selection did not fit. I fell in love with it! The fit was perfect (true to size) and silhouette flattering. It was also very comfortable. Received many compliments...

Dress felt great. Very comfortable. The 6 was too small (I usually wear 6's), but the 8 fit great. 

The fit was amazing! I generally go between an 8 and a 10, and had to wear the 10, but it was perfect! My boyfriend loved it on me and I got so many compliments. Sorry I couldn't get a picture of the entire dress, I forgot :/ Absolutely a dream though!

Dress fit true to size, matches perfectly with any color shoe/accessory. RTR really made a huge difference in my night.

I typically wear a size 6 but the 6 was tight in my rib cage with no give. I'm glad I ordered up for the 8 was very comfortable since it runs small. Great dress for a wedding!

Fits pretty standard for BCBG, so maybe a little small compared to other brands.  The 4 fit me perfectly and I'm a little on the taller side so it hit right at my knee.   I had on a strapless bra at first but it made the nude lining under the bust stick out weird, so I took it off and it looked normal.  Didn't need it though!  Very pretty on and doesn't need many accessories.

Great dress - got a ton of compliments as it wasn't an ordinary LBD. The 4 was a *little* tight in the waist but overall was the better fit on my body with length and other areas so I made it work. If definitely rent again! 

The dress fit great. I weigh around 135 pounds and am 5'8. I rented a size 4 and size 6. Usually I wear a size 4, but for this dress I ended up wearing the 6 so I do think this dress runs a little smaller. It was very comfortable and I received TONS of comments on how beautiful the dress was. 

I ordered the 4 and the 6, as I typically fall somewhere between.  The 4 fit perfectly, but did hug my hips quite tight (I didn't mind, but someone else might).  The 6 was too large on the top, so I went with he 4.  I did not need a bra, which was great, as the top held me in well.  It was very comfortable and very pretty.  I would rent it again!

This was a really nice dress. The detailing is great, the lace panels and the pleating make it very flattering. Great if you want something a little longer, and it moved really nicely when dancing. Received several compliments.

Love, love, love this dress.  Dressed this up for an evening wedding reception at a winery - fancy event and felt like the dress was very appropriate.  You do need a strapless bra but the way the dress is fit I wasnt tugging to pull up the bra all night.  Very flattering fit if you are trying to conceal a midsection.  The lacy sections adding a really great detail.  The 8 fit fine but wen with 10 for a more comfortable fit around the arms.

This dress had a vintage look/feel and was perfect for my h.s. reunion banquet. I ordered both the 4 & 6 and could have worn the 4 but it was just a teeny bit tight and constricting in bodice area. I also chose the mystery gift which was a very nice gold clutch that I paired with a gold bangle. No need for a necklace with this beautiful lace neckline. This dress is QUALITY! If you want a classy and sexy look order this dress. This is my 2nd RTR dress and I am always impressed. 


Keep in mind that it is not stretchy around your waist, armholes and bust. I've ordered size 2 and 4 and could not fit my bust into 2 and it was uncomfortable around my waist.  Go with your usual size based on their size chart. I got a lot of compliments during Gala. Thank you RTR!

The fit is pretty true to size, but a little snug through the rib cage and back.  If you have an athletic build or broad back, I would size up on your second size.  I had to pull on the dress every time I stood up to ensure it wasn't bunched up.  There was a small tear in the lace on the front, but not noticeable to anyone but myself.      

The fit was perfect!! I felt comfortable all evening, especially with the length (dresses usually are too short for me as I'm 5'9")!!

I am usually a size 8, but I decided to go with the 10 because I felt the bodice was very snug and had no give. I am pretty busty (34 DD+) and I needed to keep readjusting the lace detailing in the front. I also felt the back lace closure was very large and the button you are to secure it with was either stretched out, or just too big because it came unbuttoned a few times during the day. Overall, this is a pretty dress and I'm happy with my RTR experience, 

The dress was absolutely perfect, but it did run a bit on the small side. My suggestion would be to order a size from your normal dress size as a backup. 

Fit was true to size, hung beautifully.  Arrived in excellent condition.  Since there isn't any stretch to the fabric it did feel a bit snug in rib cage area when sitting but not uncomfortable. It was not a formal affair so I paired it with black cut out sandals. 

Beautiful dress!! I got lots of compliments on it and would definitely wear it again. Fit true to size, possibly runs a little on the small side. It's very snug at the waist (more than most BCBG dresses) and I would size up as a backup if you think that may be an issue.

I was so excited to take this beauty out of the package! It was in good condition, no pilling or anything present. The shape of it was very flattering on my smallish bust, and nipped in at all of the right places to highlight my curves. The liner was just a touch tight at my hips, creating a line, but I'm just generally hippy, so I don't think would happen on all 12's that rent it. I wore it to a jewelry designer friend of mine's birthday help at Pump in Hollywood. I felt classy but still youthful and so pretty in this dress! It was easy to move in, had a nice little sway about the fabric at the bottom, and was a good length for me (right at the knee). I would definitely rent this dress again to feature again on my blog, dressedfortime.com, or for an event like a cocktail party or birthday. 

Really beautiful, I wore it for an award ceremony and got multiple compliments. If you have a larger rib cage like I do, it fits a little tight around there but it wasn't tight enough for me to justify wearing a larger size. The skirt hangs lovely and makes walking around very fun. I'm kind of sad I didn't get the chance to dance in it. 

BCBG seems to run a bit small. I normally wear a 6 or an 8 and had to get a 10 in this dress. The 8 was very tight. The 10 fit perfect. 

The reviews stated the dress ran true to size/small- I found it ran very true to size! I ordered my 'normal' size and a size below (since size above was taken) and I was a bit worried at first, because some people said they went a size up- but my 'normal' size fit just fine. I even felt like the top was roomy, was a tad fitted at the natural waistline, but I wouldn't have wanted it any bigger! Beautiful dress!!!

It was much longer than I thought it would be. I'm pretty tall and it still hit me at the knees. Go a size up, I'm usually a size 2 but I got a size 4 and it was about right

This dress was gorgeous - insanely high quality, great condition and super sexy without being revealing. I ordered a 6 and an 8 as the reviews mentioned it ran a bit small, but I didn't find that at all. The 6 was perfect. My only complained was that the back keyhole section was HUGE and gaped a lot. I had to have my husband pin it, which sort of ruined the effect. Otherwise, gorgeous dress, perfect for dancing.

This was an out-of-the-ordinary choice for me.  There is black lace over a neutral backing except at the shoulders, where it's just the black lace.  As others have said, this dress runs small (BCBG usually does).  The band below the chest is snug, so it could be a problem for larger chest sizes.  It was form fitting around the hips, but the skirt is full.  As you can see in the pic, it's also a little longer than other dresses, so it was perfect for the business formal event I wore it to.  All in all, a GOOD dress.  (But I've had so many GREAT dresses from RTR, that this wouldn't make my top ten list).

Renting for 2 more events as I write this.....

I'm tall and the dress was long - hit right in the middle of my knees. It's beautifully made but a little tight around the ribcage and some of the lining bunches on the hip. It ended up working perfectly for the 1925-themed party I attended and I received a ton of compliments!

The dress fit well. I opted for the smaller size because it felt more secure. I loved the lace details and the length was very classy. It was a perfect dress for a November wedding. I would rent or buy it again.

This was the perfect dress for a friends wedding. The cut and fit were perfect, and I was able to dance all night. Everyone loved the dress, and I felt great in it!

Beautiful dress! RTR sent me exactly what I asked for, in exact sizes. I didn't have any issues receiving the dress I wanted for my occasion, and it was exactly as described!
Pros:
-Dress fit me like a glove! I ended up wearing the size 10 and didn't even need to try on the 12.
-Beautiful lace, illusion, & pleating details. Received many compliments! This photo doesn't even do it justice because you can't see the detailing or the back.
-Dress was knee length on me (I'm 6'1") so was the perfect length and not too short!
-I'm smaller up top and larger in the hips. This was the perfect fit as the pleated skirt is fuller and had plenty of room. The waist, bust, and armhole fit me spot on. Some reviews mentioned you were able to see the bra even if it was strapless so I didn't bother wearing a bra. The dress gave me enough support without one, however I'm a small 36B cup so this may not be the case for larger busts. Some other wearers also mentioned the dress being tight in the rib cage, but I found it a perfect fit and was very comfortable (maybe due to my smaller bust).
-I would definitely rent this dress again!
Cons:
-The only criticism I have for the dress itself would be that the thread loop closure for the button at the center back neck was too large of a loop. The button loop came loose more than a couple times that night, so I would recommend RTR should stitch this loop a little smaller if possible so it doesn't come loose! But this wasn't a big deal in my opinion.
-Also, when tracking my incoming package it looked like the tracking mentioned the dress was delivered, when in fact it didn't get delivered until a couple hours later so that created some confusion. But the dress was delivered later that day by 5pm with no issues, so no big deal.
