It was a tiny bit small around my ribs and a tiny bit too large at my chest, I used fashion tape to try and help. Great quality dress, and I got lots of compliments on it. Especially loved the back. 

5'6 140 lbs I rented This dress to Dj for an elegant yet whimsical hippie style wedding. The color scheme for the wedding was navy blue so this dress was absolutely perfect. I can be hard to find a dress to wear for this type of themed event and still look classy but this dress absolutely did the trick. It was very comfortable all night long I would definitely recommend. Such an elegant dress! I wore this for a fancy date night to see Hamilton, after which we dropped into my boyfriend's formal work holiday party. Dress is on the longer side: I am just short of 5'6" and was wearing 4" strappy wedge heels, yet the outer fabric was still lightly grazing the floor. (Would not be a issue if you're slightly taller.) Overall, the dress was very comfortable and not at all revealing despite going braless. I felt sensual and classy! 

The fit was true to size, very comfortable, and the open cutout on front and back were gorgeous! Everything stayed in place and I didn't have to worry about it at all during the night!

The R length was perfect with 4 inch heels for my height. If I leaned forward, the fabric would buckle and make an opening on my chest. Nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix (taped two sides together at base of chest) and wearing pasties to feel secure!

This was actually my backup dress to a November wedding, but I liked it better than the original. It fit nicely and I felt comfortable in it all night. The long was very long though, even for someone 5'9 and wearing 2-3 inch heels!

I went with the 8R while wearing flats. I'm 5 10. The hem just grazed the ground. Could not wear a bra, and I needed a little fashion tape to make sure the cutout in the front stayed in place. The dress is very elegant. It's subtle and classy. 

Very nice dress in a beautiful navy blue color, but the top will definitely fit different on every body. Not too tricky, but a bit tricky. I had to pin the front diamond opening which was revealing, without being ridiculous looking. The back is open and the zipper/band where the dress gathers at the waist is a bit tight around the ribs if you have broad ribs/any ribs at all. Size one size up and be prepared to pin the fabric around the chest. Otherwise, it was a beautiful dress. The only other thing that's hard is that the lining kept riding up and twisting, which I notice on many dresses these days. The dress doesn't LOOK low quality, but this tells me it wasn't particularly well-made. The lining just clung and twisted and had to be readjusted throughout the evening quite a bit.

True to size!  I wear an 8 and got an 8 long so I could wear heels.  I'm 5'9 and wore 4 inch heels.  Fabric is so amazing, flows beautifully, and very flattering.  Used dress tape as you can't wear a bra.  Loved it!

Very nice dress, lots of compliments all night long. Worked perfect at a winter wedding. Ran tight in the hips/butt so I ended up going a size up from normal. Wore a backless bra with it to add support. Some fashion tape may be needed too to keep everything in place. Overall great look. Fabric wasn't the most stretchy but I was still able to dance and move around without too much trouble. 

Love this dress! I'm 5'6" and usually an 8. I ordered the 8L because I'm right on the cusp between regular and long. I wore about a 2 inch heel and it was a tad long, but worth it. The regular length would've been too short I think. You can't wear a bra with this because the back is open. I wore nipple covers and put a small safety pin in the lower V. I'm about a 34C bra (from VS, so take it with a grain of salt). I felt super comfortable in this dress and got tons of compliments on how flattering it was! Highly recommend! 

I ordered this dress for a military ball and it was perfect! I am 5'11" and usually wear a size 4 or 6. I received a 4L and a 6L and ended up using the 6L, which fit perfectly. I am always concerned about dresses being long enough for me, and this dress was almost too long (which I prefer over being too short). The color and material were beautiful, the dress was very comfortable and easy to move around in. I had to use double-sided tape on chest area as I felt it was a little too revealing for the event. Overall, I loved this dress and highly recommend!

This dress makes you feel like a Greek goddess. It was pretty and elegant. The back is great and the front is a little difficult to manage if you have a large bust. Bring on the fashion tape!!
Also the underlining was a bit snug around the hips.

Good overall fit. The long worked well for me with heels. I'm 5'10, 150 lbs and the 6 was perfect. A little loose in the chest, but I have no boobs so that's always a problem. If you have a bigger chest, you'd fill it out a little better. 

In one word - Elegant. It was both classy and sexy, with the small cut out on the chest and open back. The slip was snug around my butt and thighs, but the outer silk layer is loose and hides the tighter look underneath. Had to wear pasties - cannot wear a regular bra. This was the first time I tried a mystery bling, and I loved the RTR gold cuff bracelet that matched my gold earrings.

Military ball with my bf, when my original dress didn't fit. I'm so glad though, because this dress was stunning! The 8 fit perfectly and the cut was so unique - I love the twist in the front (though I did have to pin the front just a little... small boob problems!!) and the open back was stunning. I wore a sticky bra since wearing a regular bra wouldn't work. I was worried it would be too short as I'm very tall, but the 8L hit the floor and I actually probably could've worn a short heel! Overall in love with this dress and would highly recommend it.

The dress fit well and looked great on. Perfect for a black tie wedding. I will say the under layer of the dress fits more snugly than necessary and the 6r felt exactly the same except the dress was longer. Just something to consider when renting the dress. I am 5'3 and wore 3.5 inch heels.

Great for smaller chested girls (A-C cup). Due to cut outs, I didn't wear a bra with this (there's boning in the chest area of the dress).  It is extremely comfortable and super flattering.  I likely didn't need the long size, as bottom was a little long even with 3 inch heals (and I'm 5'9").  Overall, this is my favorite rent the runway dress!  I wish I didn't have to return it!  It is beautiful and so easy to wear.

The cutout in front is low so make sure your bra is cut low

Gorgeous dress! Made me feel very beautiful for my brother's wedding. A couple of cons: the bust is very low cut, and the one piece of fabric just sort of drapes over. So when you're moving or dancing it can be very revealing. I pinned it and that solved the problem. The lining was a bit tight on my hips and butt, and the low cut back sagged a little bit. Again, pinned it, problem solved. I am 5'6" and wore 3" heels, and the dress was about an inch too short.  Overall a beautiful dress that I got many compliments on!

Wore this to a black tie summer wedding in Napa. Fit like a glove! I was afraid the zipper was a little too tight but in reality it made sure the dress stayed put and my bra-less boobs didn't pop out. I'm 5'9" with B/C cup and size 6 (or 8 for length) generally. This 6L was meant to be worn with 3-4 inch heels! Amazing! 

The dress is a deep navy blue and is very comfortable. I am 5'10" and worse 3 inch heels and it was plenty long. I found it tighter in the hips and a bit looser in the bust. I wish I had tape for the chest area as it gaped a bit on me,

This dress got so many compliments! It fit beautifully, and barely grazed the floor with small heels on.   Very comfortable to wear and looked great! 

This dress was so comfortable and easy to wear. I received tons of compliments on it and everyone wanted to know where I got it. 

I am 5'7" and 180 pounds. 12L was the perfect size for me.  I wish I had purchased a better backless bra because I needed more support.  My fault, not the gown's. I received tons of compliments at the gala.  Everyone kept saying how beautiful the gown was and I was very happy with it. 

I did not expect to love this dress but ended up feeling very wonderful in it and received many compliments. I wore this for a wedding in Lake Tahoe. My original pick didn't fit and my back up size wasn't available and after a major complication where RTR sent more dresses for me to try but sent them to my home in NC instead of Lake Tahoe, I finally got this dress from them. I asked for the 8 because I was too afraid to try a 6 after the other one didn't fit. While this fit looser and was a bit big, I didn't mind because we were eating and drinking all night and I felt 100% comfortable in it. I loved the plunging neckline with the twist above. This dress ended up being perfect!

Beautiful dress. I'm 5'4 and petite was perfect, regular would have been way too long for me. I did use fashion tape because we did lots of dancing and i didnt want to worry about the open front. 

Fitted around the chest, wore sticky bra and used double sided tape on the chest. Great length for 5'6 and 2.5 inch heels. 

This dress fit really well - I wore the backup 4P rather than the 4R because of the length and because the underlying "sheath" in the 4P was a bit more comfortable. I loved the fabric and the color of this dress, as well as the back design. The front design was really pretty and got me lots of compliments, but I did have to tape to keep the ladies from falling out when I bent over or danced around. But overall a great comfortable dress that had a classic but feminine look! 

I normally wear between a 14 and 16 in this so i ordered a 16L with 14L as my backup, as I am 5'10". This dress was actually a backup to my original dress that was too small. Length was perfect for flats, which was more comfortable than heels. The area around my rib cage was tight and slightly uncomfortable all night. The opening around my bra area gapped open and I was not happy with that because I was constantly tugging at it and keeping my chest covered, however a little double sided fabric tape did help somewhat. Overall, I was pleased with the dress but would not rent again as the front area made me uncomfortable.  

I am above average in height, so I thought the 8L would work--but it was way too long. I ended up going with the 8R and it was perfect length, even with the heels. I received many compliments and loved the fit, feel and look of this dress. 

I ordered the 4P which is my true size, and just in case, I got the 2P as a back-up because of my small bust. The 4 ended up fitting the best because it wasn't as tight around my hips and thighs. The length was PERFECT! I was so happy with the length of the dress! My only worry when wearing the dress was the crossing fabric in the front. Since I was not able to wear a bra with this gown, I was worried about leaning over, hugging people, etc because I didn't want to show too much cleavage. I ended up safety pinning the front and using some fashion tape to help with this. But overall, I really enjoyed wearing this dress!

Fit well, was kind of long, i wore heels with it and it worked well. Fit well in the top, i am a 32B, wasnt tight. I am 5'4" so it dragged a bit at the bottom but nothing i couldnt handle, i was carrying it a lot of the night though so i didnt step on it. Overall very classy :)

This dress was amazing and I'm getting really sad that I have to send it back. The 12R fit like a dream but right under the bust there was a tear that I didn't want to attempt to hide so I opted for the 14R. I'm 5'5" and the dress was a bit long. I wanted to wear flats (which is why I chose a long dress in the first place) and I had to hold my dress for a majority of the night but I didn't personally find it that big of a problem. The inside liner was the perfect length but the top fabric was where it got long. If I had ordered the petite size, maybe then it would have been the perfect length for wearing flats. I am not a very busty lady so the dress dipped down in the front more than I would have like. I just pinned it up and it still looked great. The back cut out is my favorite part! It's high enough where you could wear a shaper or spanx if you needed it. Even though the dress had some minor (fixable) flaws, I would absolutely rent this dress again!!!
