Felt amazing in this dress!!!! It's absolutely stunning

I'm over 6 feet tall and when you add in some heels, it's very difficult to find many pretty dresses that actually fit AND are cute...this one did just that! It fit perfectly and I felt awesome! I was so beyond happy that I chose this one! 

This shows off your curves without revealing too much.

I wore this dress to my senior prom and I stood out in the best way. Fits nice and snug on top, with a perfect mermaid bottom! I wasn't constantly pulling it up but it didn't feel too tight either, just right. The only problem I had was the length. I am 5'1'' and even with 6" heels I felt like I was going to step on the gold trim at the bottom.

It is a perfect combination of classy and sexy. I felt comfortable and received lots of compliments. It was lighter to wear than it looks in the RTR photo. 

This dress is beautiful, definitely a show stopper. It is glamorous and classy and honestly it was overwhelming the number of compliments I received. Regarding sizing, I would definitely recommend L versus R if you are 5"6 or taller. I am a size 4 and ordered the 4L (the 6L wasn't available as a backup) and it fit just right with some help from tummy shape wear ;)

This dress stands out in a crowd. It's different but stunning. I love the intricate details of the dress. I rented the 2L but could of worn a 0L. I am 5'6" and 120 lbs. The 2L was big in the chest area, but surprisingly the dress stayed up. I thought I would be tugging at it all night but it stay put. 

This gown was absolutely beautiful and I didn't want to send it back. If you have hips you will need to go one size up and it fits snug but I was able to dance in it no problem. I'm 5'7 and needed the L and I wore flats. Got compliments on this dress all night!!

I have a 32 bust 24inch waist and 35inch hip/butt, wore this with 5 inch heels. This dress seemed to be stretched out quite a bit. The hook closure was bent open so I had to take a plyer to it. And the boning inside was bent weird and coming through so a couple bandaids took care of that. It looked absolutely lovely on, the material was beautiful and the length was perfect. It's extremely well made and is very striking in real life. Had to keep pulling it up throughout the night but it wasn't ruining the evening by any means. This was my first time using RTR and I'd like point out to all my fellow first timers to take note of people's height and weight when trying to base your size choice off other reviews. I was lead to believe that this dress ran small from a number of different reviews but it seems that a lot of people just seem to have no idea that they're picking a size to small for their body when they're getting formal dresses. If you always wear a 0 in formal wear, you will fit a 0. I was a bit frustrated that all the dresses I received in my order were stretched out and slightly loose even though most had said they ran small.

I absolutely fell in love with this dress the minute I took it out of the RTR bag. The material is so delicate and decadent at the same time. The only issue is that it definitely doesn't have any stretch so make sure you include a size up from what you may normally wear - especially if you are a little bigger in the booty department. The only complaint I have is the length - I wore a 6L and could only wear small heels otherwise the dress would've come up way too short off the ground. (I'm normally a 4-inch heel sort of gal). Overall, this was a beautiful dress and I received so many compliments throughout the night.  

This is a gorgeous dress.  I fell in love with it online and when I went to order it, the 4L was the smallest that was available (I'm normally a 2).  I decided to try it any way and it since I'm smaller in the chest, it was just too big.  If I had a 2R, it probably would've fit better.  It's beautiful, I just decided to go with a dress that fit me better.

Pros:  The dress was gorgeous and the material fell very softly! Compliments all night! 

Cons:  Unfortunately the dress had a rip in the lace in the back and the hand stitching was frayed in a number of spots.  Fortunately, it wasn't noticeable in pictures, but disappointing considering I spent $175 for the rental! I can only assume it wasn't inspected before it was sent out.   My last RTR experience was so good that I'm not letting this one bad experience taint my perspective about RTR. 

Also, it was a little short - and I'm only 5'3 - so I had to wear shorter heels.  

That said- it was still a gorgeous dress and I got compliments all night long! 

This dress was amazing. I am originally a size 4 and I am 5'4. i ordered the 4R and 2R as back up. unfortunately the size 2r wasn't available. The RTR team was amazing about finding me a replacement dress right away, sent me couple choices before my event. The 4R actually fits fine except it was too short to wear with heels, so I got a 4L last minute which was available and it was just perfect!!! Received so many compliments all night, got so many comments and texts about where did I find this dress. It was truly a show stopper. Dress feels comfortable and light, fits well, shows curves. Would highly recommend this dress for a formal event or wedding. Thx RTR for making me look fabulous.

A little hard to sit in a chair, but totally worth it 

The fit was exactly what I expected. I couldn't have had a more perfect dress. 

The dress fit like a glove - just right with not much room to spare. It accentuates and makes you look tiny in all the right places. This dress is amazing for a wedding or formal affair.

Little snug up top, if you have a larger bust I suggest wearing a light strapless bra , no added padding. 

Fits like a glove and masks my big boobs which I loved so they weren't obnoxious in pictures. This dress makes your butt look awesome btw... Wearing to prom! Could not love this dress more

Most flattering dress and it fit like a glove.  Really pretty details and such a classic gown. 

It definitely runs small. I'm a larger 8/smaller 10, and I ordered the 10 and 12 after reading the reviews. It fit really well, but it was short. I'm 5 foot 6, and luckily I was wearing cowboy boots, but if you're wearing heels, I would get the "long" size! 

It definitely runs true to size I am usually a 2 and I ordered a 2R and it fit perfectly I was wearing three inch heels and im 5'2 so it was the perfect length as well! Tracking was great I would definitely recommend the text messages for tracking it gives you a lot of peace of mind. I tried to include a picture of the front and back so you could see the zipper and all on the back! Honestly hugs the curves great and pretty comfortable I danced in it for 4 hours at prom and had no problems whatsoever. I have a smaller chest and even though it was strapless it stayed up for the most part and was not a nuisance! definitely would recommend to anyone interested!!!! xoxo

It runs small. I wore a 2R when I usually wear a zero. Overall absolutely gorgeous dress. I got so many compliments on it! 

The 0 wouldn't go up my hips/butt so I had to wear the 2 which was a little loose on the bust and not that tight around my midsection but not a big deal! Kind of hard to zip but once on SO flattering!! Received many compliments! 

I normally wear a size 0 so when RTR sent me a size 2 because of an issue with my order I was skeptical that this dress wouldn't fit. It fit like a glove and I was showered with compliments over it all night. I didn't have room for a strapless bra but I didn't need one anyway. This dress definitely runs small so I would order up a size, but I'm very happy with what I picked out. 

True to size! I'm 5'9" and the long size was good for me to wear with five inch heels 

Loved everything about this dress. So comfortable and so beautiful. I wore it to a a black tie wedding on New Years. I consider myself pretty curvaceous and it was incredibly flattering, especially on my booty. I'm 5'6 and just made the cut for a regular length with 3.5 inch heels. 

I had a good friend rent this dress for a previous wedding and I couldn't get over how amazing it looked on her.
I usually wear a 6 but the hip hugging silhouette called for a larger size. Its still fit very well up top. It stayed up but seemed to slowly turn throughout the night, so keep an eye on it.  I'm 5'7 and the length was perfect in a long with heels or flats. Zipper was a bit difficult to get up but I managed to get into it by myself. I would definitely rent it again.

This dress is stunning, but the particular one I received needs to be retired. The fit is totally off from overuse, and it has visible signs of over-stretching around the hips. There were several holes and loose threads around the bottom of the gown - luckily I wore this gown on stage so it was fine from a distance. The fit of the dress in general has a very large waist and bust - be prepared to wear a heavily padded bra to hold it up if you are a true size 0. 

Pros:  arrived in a timely fashion and the whole process was very easy.

I am normally a 00 the 0R worked with a strapless bra that increased bust by (2) sizes...the dress is understated and elegant.  I received lots of compliments.

I rented this for a black tie wedding in New Orleans. I normally wear a 4 or a 6, but after reading the reviews and chatting with the RTR staff, I went for a 6L with an 8L as backup. The 6 was tight but not too bad, and overall fit better than the 8, which was a little too big. I got SO many compliments all night. I even had complete strangers stop me during the 2nd line  to compliment it.  My only regret was not getting more full length pictures while wearing it!

I am so happy I picked this fabulous dress for a Mardi Gras ball I attended. The fit was perfect in every way. Yes, it was super form fitting in the torso, but the material helped smooth things out! I felt like a princess all night! The dress was so expensive looking and the bottom moved beautifully! I am 5'6" and 127 lbs with a smaller chest and upper body. I ordered the 2L and a 4L for my back up. I usually wear a 0 or a 2 in formal gowns, but after reading reviews, I went with the 2L. The 4L would have worked fine also, but it was slightly big in my chest and not as form fitting in the waist as I wanted.  The 0 in this one definitely would not have worked for me!! I am  very glad I went with the long- I even wore flats and the length was fine. Probably wouldn't have done more than a 3" heel even with the L. The only semi con for the dress was that it was a bit hard to sit in, which was fine for me bc I was up dancing most of the night! :) You should definitely rent this dress! You will not regret it!!!

I found my RTR twin at the ball haha! This dress was amazing and comfortable all night long. It was true to size but the material has no give so if you are between sizes, I would size up. It's even prettier in person than in the pictures. I was so sad to ship it back. You won't regret renting this dress!!


I rented it for a Masquerade ball and it was AMAZING!!! I got a TON of compliments and it fit like a glove.  I am 5'9" so I got the long and it was perfect!! This dress is a show stopper couldn't believe how many people commented on it!!! :)) YAY!!!

I typically wear a 0/2 but after reading the reviews I ordered a size up and thank goodness I did!  I couldn't even get the 2 zipped past my waist. But I'm an athlete and I have broad shoulders and back, so I'm sure that was the issue. The size 4 fit but I have a long torso so it was a little short and the bust was a little too big.  I pulled at it all night.  So if you have a long torso I wouldn't recommend this dress unless you have a bigger chest and don't mind showing a lot of cleavage.   But it really is a beautiful dress. Just wasn't suited for my body type.
