The dress was stunning! It complimented my figure and showed my curves. I'm usually a size 4-6 but went with an 8R because of my chest and the details stated the fabric doesn't stretch. It's fit like a glove...better than a glove! Usually I have to pull up every strapless gown I wear or use a bra to keep everything in place :). Not this time! Once it was on, it didn't move. When I saw the dress I assumed the fabric was heavy and stuff but it was soft and didn't weigh me down at all. For the first time in years I was able to dance all night and not have to worry about my dress falling down or shifting on me. The only issue was my zipper. It's probably a fluke thing but I had a hard time pulling the zipper up. Have someone do it for you if you can. #wedding #blacktie #formalevent

This was the best prom dress that I could've hoped for. I was dead set on having something unconventional and different from the traditional, tacky, gem-covered and tulle-filled prom dress that everyone tends to get. This dress made me feel like Hollywood royalty, and it hugged my curves perfectly. I'm a DDD, and the strapless didn't cause much annoyance at all. I would recommend this dress in a heartbeat.

I'm 5' 7" and I ordered the long and I'm really glad that I did because if I ordered the regular it would have been to short to wear with 3-4" heels. Typically I'm a 4-6 just depends on the dress type but I ordered a 4L and a 6L and the 4 was really small so I'd say go bigger not smaller. It was slim fit and kinda hard to sit in because it was form fitting but other than that it was perfect!

Stunning gown! It runs a little small. I typically wear a 2 and wore a 4 in this dress. I'm 5'5" and wore low heels with this dress. If you plan to wear higher heels, I'd suggest getting the long. I didn't need to wear a bra with this, which was a huge plus for me! Very comfortable and unique. I received complements on this dress all night long!

The dress fit a little tighter around the hips. But otherwise the dress is very breathable and will leave everyone with their breathless. It will definitely allow you to stand out.

This dress is the most beautiful thing I've ever worn and it physically pained me to return it. However, it was way long on me. I'm 5' 0" and I wore 4 1/2" heels, and it was still getting stepped on all night. It was a little big in the bust too, so I had to keep pulling it up, but I'm usually a 0 and I wore a 2, so it's probably true to size. Even with all that, I am so happy I got this. It is really truly gorgeous!

The bust was a little roomy up front, I am a C cup and am a competitive swimmer so although the sides were a little snug the cups were not. I wasn't able to wear real high heels because the dress wasn't quite long enough. I am 5'7" so my shoes were probably 3.5 inches. It feel just above my feet. The zipper in the back had great reinforcement to bend and sit without worrying about tearing it. I received many compliments and felt good wearing this dress. I would highly recommend it if you have a longer torso, but not for short wasted people.

I adore this dress!!! The only problem was that it didn't stay up as well and I had to wear two bras as well as pull it up when it would slide. Everything else fit perfectly. I stood out at prom and got so many compliments! The 0L was too tight, for I could not sit down. It had a better fit in the bust, though. I recommend this to everyone!!! I loved wearing this dress. This is my favorite rental with the Nha Kanh dress coming in close second (last years prom dress)

I am typically an 8 and it fit a little snug. Would definitely recommend the long length if you are 5'6+ and plan on wearing 3.5+ heels.

I rented this dress for an Indian wedding. I wanted to wear an American gown and felt that the lace detail had an Indian feel to it. This dress fit like my wedding gown; I had multiple people ask who specially made my dress. I have rented dresses from rent the runway before, and have never been disappointed, but this dress was my favorite. I have a larger chest (34DDD) which I'm normally self-conscious about, but this dress minimized my bust. Before returning my dress, I kissed it goodbye because I loved it so much. This gown will leave you breathless the second you zip it up, I promise!

Fit well , felt comfortable

This dress was amazing. I wore it to a high school prom, and it fit like a glove. I felt like I was wearing a sports bra - but in a comfortable way. This was not my original dress choice, but problems arose and I had to pick a backup. I'm so glad I did!! There is no way I could have loved any other dress more than this one. The cons were that it was a little tight around the thigh area when sitting down, which also made it a little hard to let loose on the dance floor, but it wasn't so bad that it was impossible to dance. For a mermaid dress, it had a lot of give. Also never had to pull it up all night. Granted I have no breasts to really speak of, but I've struggled with strapless dresses in the past and this one behaved perfectly. Also, the detailing is GORGEOUS. I received so many compliments and felt SO GLAM! I was so sad to take the dress off that night.

I am completely in love with this dress! I usually run somewhere between a 2 and a 4 so I got both. I ended up wearing the 4 because the length looked better with my 3 inch heels. The dress was snug but still very comfortable and was surprisingly easy to walk in! Wish I could have kept it!

I was kind of worried about wearing a strapless dress because I've always found them unflattering on myself but this one is beautiful! It's really flattering and it complemented my figure. It felt a tad snug but wasn't uncomfortable. The only cons I have are that the zipper was kind of difficult to zip and a wire in the bodice popped out occasionally poking my side. Other than that it's really nice. The length was fine for me, I wore 3" heels in the photo and in flats it still didn't touch the floor. Since there isn't a size chart, I wore a 4R and my measurements are 35 - 27 - 35

It was absolutely perfect in every way shape and form! It's even more beautiful than the picture! I do usually wear a size 6 but it was way to tight. The 8 fit like a glove and was the perfect length! I can't save enough about how beautiful it made me feel! I received tons of compliments and had a fantastic time! So comfortable and so beautiful... What could go wrong??

Dress definitely runs small, probably could have taken the long too but was not available. The size up fit perfect. With that, the bust was a little larger as well. With a push up bra, you couldn't tell the difference. The dress movement is great, allowed for dancing and sitting down comfortably. Received compliments all night long about the dress. When I tried on in the store front I knew right away this was the gown!! I have curves and it still fit perfect.

This was one of the dresses rtr sent me in lieu of one of my other dresses I ordered that was returned late, I'm so glad they did because I absolutely loved this one! Fit me like a glove and was extremely flattering. Highly reccomend. But also the 2L was still kind of short on me being 5"6 so I wore flats.

This dress is definitely a stunner. It will turn heads for sure! I got zillions of compliments at my event. It does run small - I usually wear a 6 and was really glad that I got the 8 based on other reviews. The regular length is not super-long...I am almost 5'5'' and it was the perfect length with 2 inch heels. You don't technically need a bra, but I found that a non-pushup strapless bra gave me the perfect amount of cleavage. I also wore Spanx shorts underneath to keep my thighs from rubbing together since the cut is pretty slinky...lol. With those two undergarments it was perfect and looked absolutely amazing! If you have anything more than a flat stomach this dress will show it, so if you are not confident about your midsection, this is not the dress for you! Definitely a winner for anyone with an hourglass figure.

I am usually a 0 in this brand, but this 0 cut in at the breast line. I have small boobs, and the rest was perfect, but I wore the 2 b/c I didn't like the look of that pinched top. As the night wore on, the dress stretched a little, and I wished I had worn the 0. That being said- this dress is TDF. Just stunning, unique, amazing. Not super body con, but a gorgeous dress. I received tons of compliments and was photographed many times. Loved wearing it, felt very red carpet.

The 2R fit nicely but the length was a little short when I put my 4inch heels on, so I went with the 4R which kissed the floor perfectly and hugged my curves just right. It's also a great dress on the dance floor and trust me we were dancing up a storm. The dress is comfortable & lightweight. It's perfect!

The dress fit perfectly and was form fitting without being uncomfortable. I wore 3 inch heels and the 4L was just the right length for me. I got so many compliments throughout the night. Highly recommend renting this, I would rent it again.

Form fitting and flattering.

I am 5'6 and usually run between a 2 and a 4 in dresses. I ordered the 2L as a backup but ended up going with the 4L. I was able to wear a bra with the 4 and it was just more comfortable for me. The length was perfect with 3 1/2 inch heels. It's a flattering fit and I actually liked it a lot better in person! This was my first RTR and I will definitely be using it again!

I got more compliments on this dress! Very unique look and very different than anything else I had worn. It was a size smaller than I normally wear and snug and I am pear shaped so definitely not something I wear normally. I wore with drop earrings and no necklace and given how much this dress has going on, doesn't need much to stand out! I would definitely rent this again! Length was great with 3 in heels.

I sent pictures of this dress and another (Shimmering Element) to some friends to help me decide what to wear as both are stunning. I ended up not wearing this but hope I can rent it in the future. The dress is surprisingly lightweight and while it's a mermaid I was comfortable walking around. This dress runs small for this designer, I wore a 0 in the Glisten Up Gown with no issues. I only tried on the 2 and it was pulling a little at my hips which are really more of a 4 (37") but I have a small waist (25"). The 4 probably would have fit as well and given me a bit more room, but I prefer my clothes more fitted. At my height I wouldn't wear shoes higher than 3" with this dress.

My bust is a D cup(size6), my body is a size 4, so I had to go with the 6r. It was a little big but it was such an excellent cut that it hung onto my body. No pulling it up constantly. The gold patterns on the dress are metallic and perfect for our Mardi Gras ball!! Perfect length for me at 5'3" with tall shoes.

If you tall and get a tall, it's still long but better long that too short. Tall girls need at least 3-4 inch heels.

Received this dress as a back-up after the dress I originally ordered was damaged, and LOVED it! I was nervous about renting a long dress since I normally have to get things hemmed, but the length was perfect with 4-inch heels. I probably could have gone a size down since the most restrictive area of the dress is through the hips. If you have hips or a butt, I'd consider going a size up if you want to be able to use the bathroom easily :)

Chose this gown for a Mardi Gras Ball. I ordered a 0R and 2R. Tried the 2 on first, it was very snug around the hips and thighs. I considered ordering a 4, but it stretches when you walk and the longer it's on the more comfy it gets. Didn't need to wear a bra either, which is always a plus. The detailing is so beautiful, the pictures seriously don't do it justice. I love love love this dress! Was sad to return it!

I don't think there are enough adjectives for me to describe how incredible this dress is! I rented this dress for a Mardi Gras ball in New Orleans and it was just spectacular! The details were so gorgeous and the compliments I received were endless! I rented the 2R and the 4R. The 2R was a bit too tight but the 4R was perfect; it fit like a glove! I am also usually very hesitant to wear strapless gowns just because I never want the hassle of worrying about it staying up. With this dress, it just stayed put. The fit was honestly like it had been tailored to my body. The length was perfection as well. I am about 5'4'', 120lbs, 34D breasts. I wore this dress with 5in heels and it was perfect. Just perfect! Obviously I wish I could've kept this one! So great! You won't be disappointed.

The dress fit great without the need for special undergarments ( i.e. Spanx and strapless bra) I could move as breath and dance and eat dinner!! The first dress I ordered didn't fit my freakishly long torso properly so I called and the girl on the phone recommended this one and overnighted it to me. I didn't get to try it on Until 2 hours before the event. It was perfect. Great experience!

This dress is to die for!! I had so many compliments all night long. I am 5'5 and 128 pounds and I wore a 6L with 4 inch heels and the length was perfect. The 4L fit me but I couldn't wear my bra with it....it was too snug at the top! Overall this is my favorite dress ever!! I wish I could buy it!!
