It was very form fitting and I had to have perfect posture to sit down. I felt like my back fat bulged out of the top.  I did have  so many compliments on this gown. My favorite dress I've ever worn!


This was so a beautiful and classic gown. Received countless compliments! It was a hit.

From the material to the color to the cut, this dress is everything. I got so many compliments. For my bigger busted girlies, the material has no stretch so definitely go up a size. 

It was a touch short on me when I put on 3 1/2 heels, and I’m 5’7”. So just a note of caution to the taller ladies if ordering this dress, even in long. Otherwise on fit great. Structured fabric that isn’t too constraining and was perfect for a spring evening wedding.

Loved this dress so much!! Only thing, I wish I had sticky pads for a bra because my bra was consistently showing, but I am a part of the IBTC. This dress is such a showstopper!! Highly recommend 

I was surprised the 10 was my fit, but with some silky shape wear and a strapless bra, it worked out. The cut at the shoulders makes a strapped bra very difficult.  Maybe clear straps crossed qoyld have been ok. But my black crossed straps kept showing,  so I just went strapless. The tummy and hips were very tight.  
About shipping, I received this a day late, on the day of my event. Which was absolutely nerve wracking. I didn't see that if your return date ends on a Sunday, you can return it on Monday any how, or else I would have rented it with more time for it to arrive. Overall, I love the quality and availability of clothes to rent. But the customer service has made me worry of renting the runway again. I would caution anyone to consider the impact of receiving your rental within hours of your event. You may receive your rental more than 24hours AFTER your actual rental time. And no compensation was offered to me for my inconvenience. Buy if you RETURN it one day late then you'll owe $50. I think if you reviewed it one day late you should be credited $50! 

I like a tight dress so size up if you need room.

I wasn’t a huge fan based on the model picture, but loved how it looked in review photos! The  cut of the top is super fun, but makes a bra tricky, so I didn’t wear one, which was fine given the material is very nice, and thick. There is no stretch to the material as other reviews say. If you’ve got thicker thighs, or a rounder butt, it might be a bit snug in that region, and I’d maybe size up. It’s a really beautiful dress! 

I got it on, but I could not sitdown without fear of it splitting.  I am a 12/14 and I would need an 18. Dress is beautiful with high quality material. 

This dress was absolutely stunning and very classy! So many compliments! I wear a 4-6 and ordered the 6. This fit perfect! Would highly recommend. 

Beautiful, classy dress; I received lots of compliments. Based on prior reviews, I ordered 1 and 2 sizes up; ended up wearing the one size up and it fit perfectly. 

This dress is an absolute stunner! The number of comments I received from both women and men was unreal. I am a true size 6 so I ordered the 6 with an 8 as my backup. I ended up wearing the 8 and it was still a tad bit tighter around the hips than I would have liked. I feel like I could have gone up to a 10 but then I may have lost some of the fit at the bust. I would strongly advise at least 1 size up from your normal size. 

The dress is stunning. I am a 0 and it fit me 100%. I am 5'3, wore 4 inch hills and would say it was one inch too long, but doable. A friend loved it so much, she will be getting it for her son's wedding. 

Beautiful gown!! However, Badgley Mischka gowns are tricky in sizing.  Some of the gowns I wear a size 4 in but in a different gown a size 6.  I suggest ordering a backup size when renting from this designer.  I’m 5’5 and 132lbs in this picture and wearing a size 6.  A size 4 fit but it was tight, the size 6 was more comfortable.  

The compliments were endless.  The fabric and construction is very high quality.  Smoothes all the bumps.  Felt like a million bucks 

So many compliments, the cut of the top is very flattering, the stomach and hips are very forgiving and loose, in a good way

I loved this dress, but will caution on the fit! I ordered the 6L & the backup 8 was not available. I don’t see how anyone with much of a bust could wear this dress. The fit through rib cage was very snug. i think the 8 would have gaped too much in the top. But the ruffles along the slit were beautiful & I received a lot of compliments. I’m 5’8” & wore 4” heels & had a tiny bit of drag in the back, but wanted to be sure it was floor-length so went with the L. 

I received so many compliments. It is elegant, classic, chic and just plain gorgeous! Perfect for me as I was the chair for our annual military ball.  Would rent it again. And again.

I wore this to a new years ball. I'm 5'7 145lbs, I have a 42 inch hips so dresses are a challenge. I wore the 10R and with a good pair of spanx this dress was snug in the hips but totally manageable. I got compliments from strangers which never happens to me. Also i never felt over heated or like the dress was too heavy. We danced all night and I felt totally comfortable in it. 

This dress was perfect for a gala I attended. It was a very forgiving fit and hid everything and complimented my figure. I also liked how this dress felt durable and I wasn’t worried about wrinkles.. I would recommend this dress for any formal event. 

Loved the fit on me. I went with a 6 Regular based on other reviews and it fit me like a glove and the length was perfect. I wore it with about 3 inch heels and my feet were covered still (which is what I wanted). I usually wear a size 4 in dresses. It was comfortable and was the perfect dress for my daughter’s debutante ball. Such a fun and elegant gown. I did not want to take it off when the night ended. You won’t be disappointed if you select this gown. 

I loved this gown! Wore it to a Military ball. I am normally a six but had to size up to an eight. It fit perfect! 

Got this as a backup and did not wear it - I’m a solid 16 and this was tiiiiight.

Wore the dress to a formal event. Received tons of compliments. It fit like a glove and hugged in all the right places. In a sea of black dresses, the blue stands out. It’s classy and sexy at the same time. Get it!

Ladies, this is a mermaid shape, order up a size- I am usually a 6- maybe 8- definitely needed the 8, but just gorgeous.  It was form fitting but stunning.

I loved this dress! the neckline is stunning, the ruffle on the side is perfection and the fabric is great! I did wear some Spanx to make it look a little extra smooth this night but it fit very true to size! (I’m really tall and wore heels that made me like 6’1 this night so it didn’t hit the floor for me but it probably would on other people!) would absolutely order again!

Master of disguise. This beauty takes all your problem areas and makes them disappear…hips, tummy, even flabby arms. The cut is everything. And that ruffle. It was a tad bit long without wearing heels but I wanted comfort for this SW gala. This does run a bit small. Usually I’d wear an 8 but the 10 was necessary for the bust/waist. 

I am 5’3” and wear a size 10.  This dress fit comfortably, except it was slightly too big in the bust area and too long but I wore heels and made it work. 

Wore this to a formal wedding in NYC. Felt amazing. Slam dunk! Dress is a bit heavy and at 5’2” it was a bit long but not noticeably with a moderate heel. 

Fits like a glove. I stand 5'4", had on 2 inch heels, the dress skimmed the ground. I weigh 145, weight lifter, so I have big thighs. This dress was perfection. Lots of compliments and queatioons on where I got it.  

Needed a petite length but otherwise the fit was perfection. I had to use fabric tape to hem the length. The ruffle is gorgeous and so flattering but impossible to pin or hem without changing the look. I thought it looked pretty with the ruffle being a bit longer than the rest so I was happy. No bra needed. Beautiful deep navy color. 

I normally wear a 2-4 in dresses, since I'm smaller on top. This 4 fit perfectly.
