It was very form fitting and I had to have perfect posture to sit down. I felt like my back fat bulged out of the top. I did have so many compliments on this gown. My favorite dress I've ever worn!

This dress is an absolute stunner! The number of comments I received from both women and men was unreal. I am a true size 6 so I ordered the 6 with an 8 as my backup. I ended up wearing the 8 and it was still a tad bit tighter around the hips than I would have liked. I feel like I could have gone up to a 10 but then I may have lost some of the fit at the bust. I would strongly advise at least 1 size up from your normal size.

The compliments were endless. The fabric and construction is very high quality. Smoothes all the bumps. Felt like a million bucks

I wore this to a new years ball. I'm 5'7 145lbs, I have a 42 inch hips so dresses are a challenge. I wore the 10R and with a good pair of spanx this dress was snug in the hips but totally manageable. I got compliments from strangers which never happens to me. Also i never felt over heated or like the dress was too heavy. We danced all night and I felt totally comfortable in it.

Loved the fit on me. I went with a 6 Regular based on other reviews and it fit me like a glove and the length was perfect. I wore it with about 3 inch heels and my feet were covered still (which is what I wanted). I usually wear a size 4 in dresses. It was comfortable and was the perfect dress for my daughter’s debutante ball. Such a fun and elegant gown. I did not want to take it off when the night ended. You won’t be disappointed if you select this gown.

Fits like a glove. I stand 5'4", had on 2 inch heels, the dress skimmed the ground. I weigh 145, weight lifter, so I have big thighs. This dress was perfection. Lots of compliments and queatioons on where I got it.

Loved the way this dress looked and received so many compliments. It has zero stretch so if you’re in between sizes or a little unsure go with a size up. I also ordered the long because it was all that was available and the extra length was nice and I don’t consider myself tall.

I usually wear a 12 in dresses. I ordered a 12 and a 14 as a backup. So glad I did as it ran small to me. The 14 fits like a 12. I’m 6’0 so the 14L was a perfect length as well.

I rented the 8L and 10R for a Marine Corps ball attended last week. For reference, I am 5'8" with a 38DD chest and 140 (most of that fat sits in my belly and thighs.) In all dresses I am a size 8 regular or long, depending on the brand. This 8L was a great length (with my 4" heels on, just gracefully touched the floor) but was too small up top. I could not close the gown due to my chest. The 10R was a much better fit but I could not wear bra because 1) there was no space for one and 2) the design of the chest/armpit area I could not wear a sweetheart style strapless bra. My chest was held in tight; I could breathe and the girls didn't move. The stomach area was slightly tight for me, but the extra fabric kind of covers it up. I really loved the draping of fabric up front to add drama to the dress. There is also a slit on that side, but it's only noticeable when you're walking. This one got me a lot of compliments in the four hours I wore her. I would absolutely rent this gown again!

I wore this gown to a black tie wedding & I couldn’t of been happier with it. The dress fit so well I was able to not wear a bra. The material was light enough that I was comfortable the entire evening. Definitely consider renting this dress if you want style and comfort all in one!

The split was just right, modest on the top, not too tight. A little heavy on the bottom .

This dress was the perfect amount of glam for a black tie wedding. Less is more underneath—I basically wore a pair of pasties and a thong. I am 5'4" and wore 5" heels and the back of the gown was still just a teensy bit too long. I think the shorter length would have been too short.

I rented this for my sister in laws wedding. Overall fit was true to size it looked so amazing. I got a lot of compliments. I would say size up if your larger on tummy area. I ordered 10R

This Gown was a perfect fit, very comfortable, and I loved the length. I am 124lbs, 5'3", and a 34b. I wore 3.5 inch heels.

This dress is elegant and classic. And easy wear. A bit heavy (so maybe not for an outdoor event in warm weather) and long on anyone 5'8" or shorter. I'm usually not a ruffles girl, but these ruffles were beautiful.

I'm not exaggerating when I say I was complimented no less than 10 times in the first 5 minutes I arrived at the event! The material is amazing...this looks and feels like a high end designer dress (because it is!) There isn't a ton of stretch so I went with the 4R. Fit like a glove. Flatters in the right places and downplays the mid-section! This designer is always a win for me! Strapless bra...no spanx needed because of the thickness of the material. At 5'7 the regular was perfect in heels.

Pick your original size and one size up runs small around breast and torso area can be worn with a strapless but there is def side boob don't need spanx heavy material def. hides belly pouch . Great material for winter wedding too hot for the summer events.

It will wrinkle in transit so have a hand steamer ready if you are packing it! I wore it with a stick-on strapless bra. Great for the whole night and even comfortable to sit in.

From the material to the color to the cut, this dress is everything. I got so many compliments. For my bigger busted girlies, the material has no stretch so definitely go up a size.

It was a touch short on me when I put on 3 1/2 heels, and I’m 5’7”. So just a note of caution to the taller ladies if ordering this dress, even in long. Otherwise on fit great. Structured fabric that isn’t too constraining and was perfect for a spring evening wedding.

Loved this dress so much!! Only thing, I wish I had sticky pads for a bra because my bra was consistently showing, but I am a part of the IBTC. This dress is such a showstopper!! Highly recommend

I wasn’t a huge fan based on the model picture, but loved how it looked in review photos! The cut of the top is super fun, but makes a bra tricky, so I didn’t wear one, which was fine given the material is very nice, and thick. There is no stretch to the material as other reviews say. If you’ve got thicker thighs, or a rounder butt, it might be a bit snug in that region, and I’d maybe size up. It’s a really beautiful dress!

The dress is stunning. I am a 0 and it fit me 100%. I am 5'3, wore 4 inch hills and would say it was one inch too long, but doable. A friend loved it so much, she will be getting it for her son's wedding.

Beautiful gown!! However, Badgley Mischka gowns are tricky in sizing. Some of the gowns I wear a size 4 in but in a different gown a size 6. I suggest ordering a backup size when renting from this designer. I’m 5’5 and 132lbs in this picture and wearing a size 6. A size 4 fit but it was tight, the size 6 was more comfortable.
