The thing that caught my eye on this dress is that it looks really nice on women my size too. I wanted something not frumpy but that didn't accent my belly. Like most have said, it runs large. I am pretty much a size 16 (sometimes a 14) so I wore the 14. I wasn't super fitted but I didn't want it hugging all of my flaws. The gold zipper in the back gave it a nice touch.  I received lots of compliments on this dress & will be ordering again 

I wore the size 14W & The fit was perfect, and very comfortable. Easy to step into, not putting on over your head!,  because the back zipper runs almost the whole length of the dress. If I did not wear any Spanx undergarments, the fit would have been more form fitting for me. This dress is lined, not "itchy" or "scratchy" whatsoever! I received many compliments on this dress too

I ordered this last minute for a very formal wedding and it ended up being PERFECT! I'm glad it was the Wide option because it is very form fitting and I don't like super tight clothes.  I got so many compliments on the dress and was thrilled with my choice.  It looked elegant and I felt great in it.  Definitely recommend. I was worried it would rub on my armpits but it didn't and ordering it was the best thing I've ever done!

I cannot say enough great things about this dress. I've never worn a dress that had no shape to it before so I was worried about the fit, but it's relaxed and looked fantastic on! The dress was clearly worn before (you could see a little fraying on the lace) but I guarantee no one could see except me. I was worried that the length would be a little awkward on me, but with some high heels it worked out great! Highly highly recommend!

The dress was very flattering and extremly comfortable. For my 31st birthday, I didn't want to go too crazy, but I did want to wear something special. This was just the ticket and was exactly was I was looking for. I loved that I was able to wear a regular bra with it and it's perfect for winter! Definitely recommend this dress. Figure flattering, hides the tummy, makes your butt look phenom, and holds the girls  in a good place. 5 stars!!

I ordered this dress in 14W and 16W but ended up wearing 16W. I am size 16 and ordered 14 only bc people were saying that it runs bigger. I did not have this problem may be bc my bottom was always bigger the the top. I had a lot of complements and people even said that I lost weight. 

The dress was GORGEOUS in person.  It fit wonderfully and was super comfortable.  The details in it were perfect and it was perfect for a winter formal wedding.  The only con was that the lace was easy to snag on jewelry so I just ended up taking off my bracelet so I wouldn't damage the dress!  Overall, this was a perfect fit :) 

This was the first dress I have rented from RTR, and I was thrilled with the dress (and the overall experience)! The dress was in great shape - I had been worried about renting a dress with a lace overlay like this, but it was very well-kept, with only maybe one or two small tugs in the lace (unnoticeable to anyone but me, really).  I thought it fit to my body nicely too; hugged my shape just slightly and was very comfortable. Overall, this dress was a big win for me!

This is the perfect LBD! Super flattering and very comfortable. 

A lot of people said this dress runs large, but I didn't think so. I was also worried about some of the reviews stating that it was tight in the arms, but again, I had no problem with that and I have big upper arms. I am 5'2" and the dress fell to right above/at my knees. Also, there were enough reviews that said this was kind of boxy and they needed a belt to give it some more shape. And again, I had no problems. This dress runs true to size. I felt so beautiful in this outfit, and I don't say that often. 

This dress was extremely comfortable.  I probably could have worn the size smaller but in all honesty, the dress fit comfortably and still gave me enough shape so I was happy with it.  I didn't have to wear spanx or anything.  The length was PERFECT. Not too short, but not too long either.   I was worried about the high neckline as I usually wear something much lower, but the dress was very flattering and people from work couldn't believe it was me!  I loved this dress and will be renting it again soon for a wedding that I am participating in.  :)

I typically wear a 16 and I thought I ordered and 16 and 14 as a back up but when the package came it was the 14 and I was worried but it slipped right on and was very comfortable.  I got a TON of compliments on it and it was perfect for a night of dancing too.

The cut is very forgiving, which was great as I was 12 weeks pregnant at the time but hadn't told anyone I was expecting yet. No one could tell! Several though I had lost weight!

It's not easy to find a dress that fits well when you're a size 22.  This dress was not only comfortable, but it fit well.  The size 20 also fit, but I wore the 22 because I didn't need spanx with it.  The arms are slightly stretchy so it doesn't appear as if the dress is too small or too tight.  It hugs all of the right curves and hides the ones you want.  

I attended a formal event where Glen Beck was in attendance. His assistant had on the exact same dress in green, which made me smile.   

An excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this dress to all shapes and sizes.  


This dress is beautiful comfortable and soft.  It did not hug but skimmed my curves.  The 14w is a women's size.  If you are a 12 or 14 regular this will be too large and shapeless.  This was a great choice for a dinner and a Carnegie hall concert for my moms birthday.  I got compliments on the dress and I felt very confident and comfortable.  The dress hit me just below the knee but as I was sitting a lot this was preferable for me.  I would rent this dress again but it comes in plum and pink and red and blue so I think I might just choose a different color next time!

The dress fell just above my knees and the 3/4 length sleeves were perfect for the end of October wedding in Chicago I wore it to!  

Dress was bigger on me than I imagined it would be. Was pleasantly surprised when the 16 fit after reading the reviews I made sure to also get the 18, but didn't take it out of the plastic!

I'm 6'1" and every once in a while I felt like I might have been showing my spanks when I bent over... but nothing that prevented me from leaping through the air to get the bouquet! LOL. Definitely recommend.  Felt beautiful and so comfortable. Had so much fun I forgot to take photos! Hoping to post one soon.

Love this dress!!! I was getting compliments all night! The dress fits true to size and was comfortable all night! I did find it a little long for my height but it didn't bother me! I added a belt to enhance my figure but overall was the perfect dress!!

I do not have one bad thing to say about this dress. It fits true to size and is very comfortable. The sheath style can look a bit boxy so I paired it with a skinny belt and got so many complements all night (as with every RTR dress and accessory).   Can't wait to rent again in the plum!

Gorgeous, hassle free dress! I added a belt to give it some curves, but otherwise everything is right about this dress. Very flattering and the length was perfect. I was getting compliments all night! I'll definitely be renting this dress again.

I rented this dress for a fancy awards ceremony. I got a lot of great compliments on it. Very comfortable and can be worn two different ways. The zipper in the back lets you have a little slit and be sext or keep the zipper closed for a moderate look. 

This dress runs a little large, I ordered a 18 and a 20 and wore the 18 and it was still large. I normally wear a 18w pant. I had a baby 4 months ago and was worried about the fit, but made me look perfect! I would rent this dress again for other occasions! 

I ordered the 16W and the 14W and decided to wear the 14W. Fit was good, but I added a belt to bring the dress in a bit to give me some curves. Loved it! Wanted to bring it home! Will order again! 

Fit was true to size.  I felt gorgeous in this dress and received compliments on it all night!  I  paired with earrings, gold bangles, and gold/pearl jeweled necklace.  A necklace is really not needed because the scalloped top of the dress is very flattering.  The dress fell to a little above the knee, and had the thick sheathe was very forgiving.  I did wear spanx underneath. 

I could not have been happier with this dress. I wore it to work a fundraising gala. I wore it from 4 in the afternoon until 2 the next morning and was completely comfortable the entire time. The dress was modest without being frumpy. Bottom line I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

I knew from reading the reviews that this dress runs a tad on the big side. I definitely have to agree. I just added a belt to give it more shape and add a little bit more visual interest. The lace is gorgeous and the details at the sleeves, neckline and hem were great. I got tons of compliments on the dress. Perfect LBD for my event.

The fit isn't very flattering in the midsection so luckily I had a belt to throw on and spice it up/sinch my waist a bit.  Overall fit was great and I felt comfortable all night at the wedding we attended.  I highly recommend anything by ADRIANNA PAPELL!  I just recommend having a belt in mind when renting if you want to sinch the waist in a bit to show off curves.

This dress was beautiful and I received many complements. It was a little bit shapeless, as the waist wasn't fitted but overall I would wear it again - I might use a belt next time to give it some shape. 

The dress is lovely and I kind of wish I had it to wear again.  The sleeves are the perfect length and the neckline is pretty and still work or social appropriate. I wore it with a pretty, sparkly bracelet and it was perfect from the stage and one-on-one.

I was sent this dress after my original choice wasn't available. I was happy with it because I'm in between sizes (12/14) and this one was stretchy and fit me. The cut of the dress is modest but it made me feel beautiful on my birthday. The lace sleeves are nice. The zipper at the back buckled a bit since the dress didn't fit there perfectly. Overall, happy with the dress. I wore this on a bar-hopping night in NYC so I was able to pull off leggings and high boots with the dress! Short, chunky necklace looked great on top. My stats at the time I wore this dress were: size 12/14, 186lbs, 5'3", full bust.

This dress was comfortable and even though I would consider this a pretty basic (borderline boring) dress I got plenty of compliments! It is perfect for cooler weather, but not so heavy that it would be a problem with milder weather. Even a few months postpartum after having twins, this dress was flattering! If you have weight around your midsection, this dress could work well for you.

I'm 5'9 and a true size 22. This dress fit great. I must admit, I thought spanx were necessary for this dress on me, but that's not a big deal. The dress was only a little short when I sat down. fit great in the arms. 

Loved this dress! I ordered the 20 & 18...the 20 fit but had no shape, was a little too big. The 18 was perfect!! The sleeves were a little more snug than I expected but overall the dress was very comfortable and absolutely gorgeous! I received a lot of compliments and felt great. Highly recommend this dress! 

I'm 5'2" , size 16. The length was just above the knee- very nice. Upper sleeve is typically an issue for me, but this dress was just perfect. I would rent again.

I was worried about how my body type would look in this dress since it isn't very "structured" but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. This dress is comfortable, slimming, and looks great with or without tights, and can be dressed down or up. Would definitely rent this dress again! 

I ordered this for our 15th wedding anniversary celebration. I loved this dress! I normally wear a 14 and ordered the 14w with a 16w as a backup. The 14w had some extra room in it but the sleeves fit perfectly. Very flattering and may order again for an upcoming wedding.

I was super nervous to rent from RTR because being a plus size girl, it's NEVER easy to find a formal dress. They arrived at about 10AM the day they said they would and I tried on the 22W and it fit!! I was so happy! I then decided to test my luck even further and try on the 20W and I literally cried when it fit perfectly! It is SO forgiving and hides everything you want hidden while showing off your curves! I wore mine you the Younique Convention Masquerade Ball and it was perfect! I felt so gorgeous all night and received tons of compliments! It was a tad hot, but that's mostly due to being in New Orleans and dancing. I will definitely use RTR for the rest of my formal events! Return was simple as well! Just switch out the shipping label and take it to your local UPS store! 

I have been recently been losing weight so I also had the 16W sent to me. I could have worn the 16 but it was much shorter and I liked the hemline of the 18. Awesome dress. Didn't feel too hot and I danced all night. Received many compliments! 

This was a fabulous dress!  The dress was super comfortable and my favorite part was you can basically wear any bra you want.  Great LBD for any occasion.

When it comes to dress, it is very difficult for me to find something that i am pleased with as i feel everything doesn't look right on me.  While shopping online for a dress for my work's fundraising event, i can across RTR (although i heard about it before on a morning show).  So i begin looking at dresses and reading the reviews and decided to take a chance.  Well, it paid off.  It took me sometime to decide on which dress would be best, but after reading reviews and comparing feedback, I decided on this one.  It fir perfectly, not too tight and not too loose.  It fell right at my knees.  The back line added just the right amount of elegance.  Dont worry, the back line won't show your bra strap.  This is definitely a dress i would rent again.

This dress was a perfect fit for the occasion. I wore this dress to officiate a friend's wedding outdoors in Maine in mid April. I loved the scalloped neckline and the lace sleeves. No need for a necklace. I was initially nervous about the zipper down the full back of the dress, but I had absolutely no problems. I was able to sit and dance with ease.

Very comfortable and flattering on my curvy figure!  Plenty of room in the upper arms.  I got several compliments.  Worn to a fundraiser gala.

Out of 3 dress options I had for a reception at the Spanish Embassy, this one was the winner! Glad I got the 16W - it fit perfect. Lace detail around the neckline and hem were just some of the small details that made it great. The sleeves were structured but comfortable. The zipper in the back unzips from both ends so you can either keep it a straight column or raise the bottom zip for a nice slit. Regular bra was fine underneath - the back V didn't go down too far - and it was roomy enough up too that 38DD's weren't squished. Can be dressed up or down (my event was "black tie recommended"). Would def rent again!

I have a chest size that is incredibly difficult to accommodate plus hips and a butt! I loved this dress for its look, comfort, and style. The zipper in the back made it even more stunning in person. I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes. It's hard for me to say if this ran big or not because of where I need a dress to fit, but it was still a great dress. This was my first RTR experience and definitely won't be my last.

I wasn't sure about renting as someone on the line between normal size and plus size(205, 5'5"). I rented the 16W and the 18W as my backup.   I wore the 16W and it was a tiny bit big all over but not so bad I couldn't wear it. Got SO many compliments on it. Hit just below the knee on my 5'5" frame. Loved the three-quarter length sleeves. It was a warm day here (85) so I was nervous I'd be hot in the dress as it's a bit heavy but that wasn't a problem. I also rented a gold clutch and a turquoise and gold Kendra Scott necklace to wear and got MANY compliments on everything!  I'm a believer in RTR and will be renting again soon!!!!!

I have recently changed sizes and was worried about ending up with something too small so I ordered an 18 and a 20 for backup but I really should have gone 16/18. The 18 was a little loose in the shoulders and I felt it shifting during the night. Otherwise it was perfect- comfortable, easy to wear, and very pretty. The lace and the unique back make it feel glamorous.

I rented this to chaperone prom held by the high school I teach at. One word: AMAZING!! I received compliments all night on the dress. I felt amazing in it! It was the perfect length for my 5'9 frame. The only "con" I have is that the lace on the neck was a little itchy, but I hardly noticed it throughout the night. I ordered the 14W but could have easily worn a 14. The 14W provided a little more "wiggle room." Paired it with hot pink heels!! Looking at buying it to have all the time! Great dress!
