The dress was super comfy, great length, and I loved the back. The color was lovely, and I got compliments all night. It fit but it felt like I could have gone down at least 1 size.

Pros: Great fit, not snug. I LOVED the wide option if I went with the next size up it would of been way too big.

I literally got this dress in the nick of time. I had rented a different dress, however it was too big. So I called RTR the next day, which happened to be the day before the wedding and I was able to rent 2 different dresses since the other sizes were not available. At first, I wasn't going to rent anything since I wasn't sure what time it would get to me and the location was an hour away.  But it arrived just in time! I put this dress on first and was done. My boyfriend loved it! Everyone was saying how beautiful I looked. This dress was super comfortable! This is my second time renting and I will be renting again! 

I loved the lace and the color. I wore it for an outside wedding in Florida.

I rented this dress for a wedding, and this was my second time using Rent the Runway.  I was a little nervous about the fit because they only had an 18W at the time I reserved the dress.  Thankfully it fit!  The dress is true to size and SO comfortable.  The color is gorgeous as well.  I received many compliments, and I loved telling everyone about Rent the Runway!  

I was afraid the dress wouldn't fit because the original size I wanted was not available. The other reviews were helpful and stated it ran large so I hoped for the best and it was great! The sleeves were a little snug on my arms but nothing I noticed when I was dancing. Great dress! I loved it!  

It was perfect and a little big so the next time I'm ordering a size smaller 

Rented this for a friend to wear to our work party. She absolutely loved it and so did her husband! She said it fit great, was comfortable, and loved the lace and color of the dress. She was totally confident in this dress! She was turned on by how easy it was to rent and return that she is joining RTR!! 

Perfect! The color, the lace, the fit... I'm very heavy in the tummy, but this dress hid it and accentuated all of the right places.

I loved this dress. I had intended to wear the 16 and chose the 14 because they were pretty comparable sizes but the 14 being a little tighter gave a bit more shape. Wore it for graduation and was only sad that it was underneath by black grad gown a good portion of the day. Was very comfortable and got tons of compliments.

I love this dress! Color is a lovely deep purple. I was worried about bra straps but it has a little loop and snap at the shoulder for that! I wore the 16w because I didn't feel a ton of difference between it and the 14w. 

I really enjoyed this dress. It's stretchy material fits curves nicely. I also liked having sleeves for the Fall wedding. It's long enough so that you don't feel exposed. You can definitely see the zipper in the back. Didn't bother me but might bother others. I wore a normal bra and had no issues with it showing.

I also ordered the size 20 and either would have worked . Very comfortable very pretty color. 

Felt slightly big. Probably could have gone one size down, but the extra room made it a little more comfortable. Fit very well in the sleeves- wasn't too snug or loose. 

My favorite aspect of the dress was how breathable it was. The loose, comfortable fit and the netting-like fabric allowed plenty of cool air circulation. I never felt too warm at my wedding, despite the sunny 90 degree weather. 

I ordered under the assumption that the dress runs a bit large, so I got a size smaller than my usual dress size. The smaller dress size ended up being perfect for me, so I recommend getting the smaller size as well. 

This was my backup dress and I ended up wearing it instead of my first choice because of the flattering cut and gorgeous color. Received many compliments all evening. I am an apple shape with a rather large bust (36DDD).  I wear dresses ranging from size 14 to 16. I ordered the 14W and worried it would be too big. It was a little big in the waist area on me but fit perfectly in the chest. It wasn't blatantly obvious that it was too big on the bottom and actually made it very comfortable to sit and dance in.  Would rent again. 

Very nice dress, went well with the cocktail attire at the wedding. The only caution I would advise is with any lace dress you have to worry about jewelry/other things snagging it! Happened a couple of times that night. The dress is very comfortable to wear and I was grateful about the straps that secure your bra straps just out of the neckline. 

Fit well, love the color. Only draw back is that lace is super popular right now so a lot of women were wearing similarly styled dresses

Quite comfortable.  I am normally a size 14, but the 16 worked great with a 7month baby bump!

I ordered both the 16 and 18, and although I could have worn the 16, I chose the 18 because of the way it was so form fitting. I did wear a one piece 'spanks' underneath, (it really is a must with this dress).  I have to say, it must be a very popular dress right now, as there were 2 other women at the wedding with the same dress on (only theirs were red!)

i wore this to a rehearsal dinner and could not get enough compliments. The fit was great, the color was perfect and it was very sexy and sophisticated all in one.  Definitely will rent again!

It was a little big but still worked well. You can wear a regular bra with it. 

Dress fit was perfect! Didn't even try on the larger size that I ordered for free. Loved the color and got plenty of compliments. Best part was feeling like I had a very expensive dress on that I normally would  not be able to afford!

This dress was awesome and I got so many compliments on it.  I lost weight from the time I ordered it and probably could have worn the 14.  The 16 was comfortable, but a little big.

I wore the eggplant dress and ordered both the 16 and 18. The 16 fit, but I liked the looser fit through the hips better of the 18. The dress was very comfortable and beautiful. I got lots of compliments even from the man working the hotel front desk. Said he loved my dress!!! The dress went to the middle of my knee. I wore it with black suede wedge pumps, black sheer hose, gold hoop earring and a gold and eggplant statement necklace that layed just above the slight boatneck neckline. The dress is lined so you don't need a slip, although I did wear spanx. Loved the dress would order it again

Fit was perfect, I did not wear spanx because I didn't need to - I wore a slip, but I could have easily worn nothing underneath. It was perfect!

This is a beautiful dress.  The lace is heavy and stayed in place around the neckline.  I was able to wear my own bra with it.  I would rent it again.

The dress fit wonderfully! It was comfortable enough to let me dance the night away but was still able to show off my curves. It was the perfect dress for a winter wedding down south. 

This dress was my back up dress for a wedding.  I didn't wear the dress, because I liked the first dress better, but I wouldn't hesitate to rent this dress again.  It is a great dress in an awesome color.  The dress was just a hair big, but I think it's because it was a 14W and not just a regular 14.  


Love Love LOVED the color. The lace was beautiful. The dress itself needs a belt or something though - I felt very much like a purple sack as it didn't cinch in around my waste quite enough. 



Beautiful fit. Heavy fabric, better for winter months. 

The dress ran a little big, although the next size down might have been a little tight in butt/bust areas. I got so many compliments at the wedding, the dress is perfect for an event like that!

The color is gorgeous and it fit like a glove! I received compliments all night long! Definitely recommend it! 

Ran a little big, but was conservative enough for my office Christmas party. Very comfortable dress, looked great with big earings.  Roomy enough for my bottom half but felt a little big in the waist and top, which is suprirsing since I have a DD chest. If I owned the dress I'd probably have it taken in slightly in the top but overall a good option for an event where you need to look nice while being covered up.
