I loved this dress! It was perfect for a cooler spring day in New York 

This dress is so chic. I wore this for my 40th birthday and it was so perfect. I’ve held onto it and I’m going to wear it to the office next week also

When I imagined being an adult, I imagined wearing this dress 


This dress was so fun. I loved the structure of the top part, it is a thicker fabric but was ideal for early winter. Then the skirt material is soft and flowy, and I appreciated the juxtaposition. Pockets, yes! I do think that the 4 would have been a more flattering fit for me, but the extra room was just fine. There is definitely some give with this dress either way, if you can’t get your preferred size.

Extremely cool and unique dress. Thick fabric and great quality. You can tell the designed poured a lot of love and creativity into this. Got a lot of compliments. The waist tie is thick and did loosen continously throughout the day, needing re-tying. It runs on the larger size/can be boxy and overwhelming on smaller frames. I would size down if you are in between sizes. I wore it as a presenter at a conference--probably would not wear as an everyday piece, as it's quite a "complex" dress, but really loved wearing it the one time.

I wish I could have gotten more wear out of this dress. It was comfortable and flattering.

Loved the layered design of this dress! The structured top and flowy bottom is beautiful. Many people ask if it is multiple layers.

Elegant perfection. It has a trench-coat vibe with a flattering flare that makes it feel polished and timeless. I probably could have sized down, and the sleeves were slightly long, but folding the cuffs worked perfectly.

I wore it with boots since we were buried in snow, but it would look just as stunning with pumps in the spring. If the price drops, I’d absolutely consider buying — and I’d definitely rent it again.

This dress seems to have mixed reviews, but I ended up loving it. I received a lot of compliments! Some thought it was a skirt with a top. While it doesn’t provide a super snatched waist (the material is quite thick), I didn’t care because it was such a unique look! So great in a cold conference hall. Work win.

I like this because it’s different.  When I put it in, I wasn’t sure it was that flattering, but then someone at work stopped me and said “you look fabulous.”  That doesn’t happen often…so I say rent this!

I personally loved this, but I can see how the fit can be challenging. The back bodice is fits opened like a jacket. The skirt is separated from the bodice at the back, and wraps around the waist. 

I liked wearing this dress, even though it was a little bit too blousy on top. The shirt on top is meant to be oversized, but if you are petite, I think it could be overwhelming. I loved that it had pockets. 

The top of the dress is made out of a thick material so it gives more formal vibe than expected. Debating whether to wear it. 

This is a good work dress, and the fabric is heavy twill, almost denim so it’s good for cold weather - although the way it’s constructed the back drapes over the shirt in a way that leaves it open (not visibly but to air drafts), so on a really cold day a shirt underneath could be needed. The sizing is generous and it’s a bit boxy. 

A coworker told me I looked like Cruella de Vil, in the best possible way! I ended up tucking in the back flap. I thought it made it look more finished. 

The top half is very thick and rises up easily. Even with the zipper, it’s difficult to put on.  It’s a nice put together look, but I was happy to return it.  

I love this in concept but it just felt frumpy. Black fabric is very heavy which gives it a boxy fit. Not for me.

I'm sure I'll regret not buying, but it is definitely for cooler weather. The black fabric is thick and offers a lot of chest flexibility. 

This was a great piece, however the  waist was a bit tighter than it looks. It is a fun look and quite structured and a bit heavier than it seems.  Wore it for a work function and then another day for a black and white birthday party with friends.

Received a lot of comments about how unique and interesting this dress is. Definitely different and renting it is a fun way to try something different.

Great dress.  Received lots of compliments from strangers on the street even.  Very comfortable to wear.

The black material is thick and heavy but worked perfectly on a cool night out, didn't need a jacket. Enjoyed the unique style and put some black ankle boots with it. 

I received many compliments on this striking dress. I needed fabric tape to keep it from gaping above the zipper but with boots this was the perfect dress for an event.  

Took a bit to get used to it. The top is a quite thunk, denim material while the skirt is thin. I ended up tucking in the back of the jacket and it looked much better. 

I'm a curvy pair and probably could have worn the four but I tied the waist on this size 6 tight and it looked great!.  I got so many compliments and really loved it for NY meetings 

It is totally open in the back so wear an undershirt if wearing in winter. 

The only qualm I have is the "open back flap". If you tie the waist tight enough, it shouldn't be a problem but I did wear a tank top under it for work purposes as I work in a formal office. 

I will say that the black fabric is sturdy. It's a bit of fabric to content with, and the side zipper (where the white fabric is) was a little awkward to get up, but I managed just fine. I love the look though. It's fashionable, a little edgy, and looks expensive. I wore it to work, and felt great.

Kim makes such interesting and structural dresses. This one did not disappoint. The material is thicker and stiff, so it works well even on slightly colder days.
