When I imagined being an adult, I imagined wearing this dress

This dress was so fun. I loved the structure of the top part, it is a thicker fabric but was ideal for early winter. Then the skirt material is soft and flowy, and I appreciated the juxtaposition. Pockets, yes! I do think that the 4 would have been a more flattering fit for me, but the extra room was just fine. There is definitely some give with this dress either way, if you can’t get your preferred size.

A coworker told me I looked like Cruella de Vil, in the best possible way! I ended up tucking in the back flap. I thought it made it look more finished.

The top half is very thick and rises up easily. Even with the zipper, it’s difficult to put on. It’s a nice put together look, but I was happy to return it.

Looked unflattering no matter what angle.

It is totally open in the back so wear an undershirt if wearing in winter.

So many compliments. Very cool style.

The only qualm I have is the "open back flap". If you tie the waist tight enough, it shouldn't be a problem but I did wear a tank top under it for work purposes as I work in a formal office.

I will say that the black fabric is sturdy. It's a bit of fabric to content with, and the side zipper (where the white fabric is) was a little awkward to get up, but I managed just fine. I love the look though. It's fashionable, a little edgy, and looks expensive. I wore it to work, and felt great.

Kim makes such interesting and structural dresses. This one did not disappoint. The material is thicker and stiff, so it works well even on slightly colder days.

I would have bought this if it wasn’t so $$$- 10000% rent this. Can style a million ways and I wore it to work and date night. The quality is unmatched and I will be renting this again. TTS and one of my favorite rentals yet.

Loved the bottom. Top was stiffer and thicker material than I was expecting.

I found the mixed media really great. The top was a little more oversized than I hoped and the back was too billowing. I decided to add a belt to cinch in the back a bit and it helped create a bit more shape and curves, otherwise it was going to feel frumpy. Loved it in the end and felt elevated.

Liked this design. Top was stiff and had a lot of fabric. If I rent again I'll go down a size. Got lots of compliments. Wore to work.

I wore this for Thanksgiving dinner and a day out and it worked both times. There's a lot going on with it so you don't need to worry too much about styling otherwise!

Loved the unique build of this dress but I wish I would have sized down. I'm usually between a 6 and 8 and the 8 was a bit big but just gave an oversized look.

Really odd dress to get into. You'll need to put a camisole on as the top is wide open at the waist.

The top of this dress is more like outerwear. Very stiff “coat-like” fabric. Too bulky for me. Didn’t wear it.

Cute idea but the flap in the back was a misplaced cape!

It fit fine at the bottom but weird up top. I felt like a firefly with wings in the back.

it's tiny in the waist and way too full in the skirt and the shirt is oversized. they didn't grade this well.

Hands down the oddest fitting garment I have ever attempted to don.

It’s like a trench coat marries a kimono dress… I couldn’t rock it. It didn’t give for the vibe I was going for.

Just didn't work

This was uncomfortable to try and get on, uncomfortable to wear and uncomfortable to look at it was thick and stiff in some places and weirdly fitted in others. Cute and theory but probably one of my least favorite items I’ve ever rented. You can’t win them all!
