A center of attention type of dress. Beautiful and flowy but you need to feel comfortable showing some leg! There are shorts underneath - amazing! The material is translucent on bottom and very flowy. This is NOT a dress for a conservative woman!

I was skeptical until the moment I put this dress on and then wow...I don't think I can say enough good things about it. It was even more beautiful in person than I thought it would be. Im 5'7'' so my main concern was length. I ordered a 0 long and it hit the floor perfectly. Another concern was it being see through, which it wasn't. This surprised me because the material was thin. The shorts underneath were another concern but the aren't tight fitting shorts they r very loosely fitted so I had no problems. I also loved the slits, I thought they gave this dress the perfect amount of sexiness and I received a ton of compliments . Highly recommend.

Pros-Beautiful color, flows very well when worn with heels. The turquoise necklace make the dress! Cons-The black belt has no give at all, so be sure to choose your size carefully.

I loved the dress!!! I got so many compliments on it all night. It was perfect for the occasion. The only negative thing I have to say is that the band around the waist has no stretch and it was a little tight. That was a small thing though compared to how much the dress rocked!

Venue was in an open field near the river in VA so I needed dressy but also not too formal. This dress was perfect. The cuts showed a little leg when the wind blew. It was a tiny bit long but it didnt interfere with dancing the night away! This was not the dressed I originally wanted but it turned out to be awesome (and RTR worked with me and provided me with jewels...seen in pic). I LOVE THIS DRESS and want to own it. lightweight fabric, shorts underneath (never had issues with them) and fun print made for a fantastic dress! like i said, it was true to fit, a little long and some gaping on the side but not a big deal, no one noticed. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I had a difficult time picking a long dress to wear off of the RTR website because, being only 5'00", everything was bound to be dragging on the ground even with 4 inch heels on. Luckily, I'm happy to say that this dress was perfect. In the model's picture, the dress looked like it was a few inches off the ground -- I was able to wear about 3 inch heels and the dress was only an inch off the ground and had no issues at all with dragging. I like the "dress almost down to the floor" look anyway, so it worked out. Both the 0R and 2R dresses I received had zipper issues -- one the zipper kept getting stuck halfway up the dress and required both my husband and I to zip it up, and the other the zipper was starting to detach from the dress. They still technically worked and din't take away from the aesthetic of the dress. Also, because of the pattern, any issues w/ the fabric wasn't very apparent. The gold threads running through the dress would sometimes fall out, but you can't tell with the busy fabric. The dress is also very flowy, so it was great in hiding that extra stomach after eating lots of food. Overall, I got many comments about how nice the dress was and two people even pulled me aside and asked me where I got it!

I wore this to my friend's beach wedding and catamaran reception. I was looking for something that wasn't too casual but still appropriate for the beach and this worked perfectly. I loved the colors and how light and airy it was. I went barefoot, so the length of the regular was fine for me. The snaps of the shorts underneath would come undone everytime I sat down, so I just left it undone. Another great rental!

Absolutely gorgeous dress! It was too good not to take pictures in, hence the impromptu photo shoot. I felt fabulous and I was so sad to return it. Yes as several other reviewers have warned, there are little golden threads that are flicking out but who cares. The slits up the side are a little revealing, but the little bloomer shorts covered you up. It was a little difficult going to the bathroom though because the buttons are difficult to maneuver...otherwise, seriously fabulous!! I have to give kudos to RTR for their customer service. My backup size had been damaged and they let me pick out a different dress as a back up. But this dress won my heart! Absolutely I recommend renting! You will feel and look like a goddess!

I rented this for my birthday date night with my husband. The dress was perfect for the hot night. The gold shimmer isn't too sparkly, just the right amount. The slits on the skirt aren't too revealing and the shorts underneath snap open and shut so it's not a big hassle if you need to go to the bathroom (thats why I hate wearing rompers!)

Dress fit great, I would say if you have a larger back end then most maybe to get the long. The slip underneath was too short for me, but the length was perfect, luckily you could not see through the material so it was fine. I received so many compliments and the dress was so comfortable. It was perfect.

This was my first time renting from the runway, and it will be the first of many! This dress was absolutely gorgeous- I wore it to a 4:30 outdoor, June wedding. I was so nervous that the dresses would get here the night before the wedding and not fit or look right. I ordered a 6R and a 6L. The Regular was too short, but the Long couldn't have fit more perfectly. I'm 5'7 and I wore it with a pair of dressy, gold, flat sandals. I didn't even have to wear a bra with it - very comfy. I bought a teal statement necklace and teal/gold bangles to re-create the look of the model, I tied the halter in the back. I have absolutely no complaints about this dress. The hight slits made it easier to walk around. The gold threading caught the sunlight and looked awesome. The dress looks great with a golden spray tan!

I wore this dress for my graduation party at a country club. I got so many compliments and it really was amazing. I was asked all day where I got it from and I would recommend it to anyone! I wore it with gold wedges but it also looks great with gold heels or even gold flat sandals to dress it down!

I typically wear a size 6, but with dresses like this I could go down to a 4. It was just perfect. The under slip was actually shorts, which was a huge bonus! I felt comfortable and sexy at the same time.

I loved this dress! It was very bohemian-glam. I wore nude shoes and gold accessories. A perfect dress for a day outdoor wedding. The colors wear very complimentary to my skin tone and the gold flecks in the dress gave it a pinch of glam. Elegant, sophisticated and not overdone.

I LOVED this dress! I'm usually a size 8 but decided to size down to a 6R based on previous reviews. I was really happy I did, it fit like a glove. I'm 5'4" and wore this dress with dressy flat sandals. It would have been way too short with heels, which was fine for my event (a fashion blogger event -- ignore my name badge around my neck!). I had read the dress came with built-in bloomers that snapped at the crotch, but had no idea what that actually meant! Just picture loose pj's shorts underneath. I liked having these built-in shorts since the slits are so high, but be warned: the shorts are SHORT. The gold thread in the dress was just enough to make it special and I paired the dress with a turquoise necklace to give it a little more pizzazz.

I wore this dress to a wedding at a country club in July. The fabric was light and airy, making it perfect for the heat of a New York summer. This dress made me feel amazing and I got a ton of compliments not only directly to me but people would make comments as I walked by about how nice my dress was.

Everyone loved this dress. It was comfortable and great for dancing with the snap on shorts underneath. The slits added the perfect amount of sexiness. It was easy to dress it up for my sorority formal with a necklace and dressier heels!

I wore this dress to a corporate holiday party and the theme was 1970's. The dress worked great with my Farrah Fawcett hair. I had originally ordered a sequined dress, but my size was no longer available so I ended up going with this dress. I wasn't sure if it was going to work, but I ended up loving it and got so many compliments. I read the reviews prior to ordering it and the slit does go up pretty high, but I wore panty hose since it was December. The little snap in shorts were very helpful too so I didn't have to worry about the dress blowing up. Very fun, feminine dress and RTR was very helpful when my first choice wasn't available.

The dress was perfect for a California wine country fall outside wedding!!! I loved that it was long and flowy but had shorts under. I wore the size 6R because I liked how sleek it felt. My backup size of 8R shorts fit better (didn't unbutton when I sat down) but the top seemed a little poofy. I also liked that I didn't have to wear a bra since the material was loose and scrunchy (in a good way). I paired this dress with a turquiose necklace I had (like the model), gold sandle heels and a turquiose clutch. I felt glamorous, but not stuffy and overdressed at the same time. The gold strands on the dress did have some wearing and were sticking out at the bottom of the dress, but it didn't bother me. I totally recommend this dress!

I wore this to a late October beach wedding, and I just loved it! The dress has built in shorts, that snap in the crotch, so you will not have a Marilyn Monroe moment. The snaps on my dress did pop open a few times throughout the night, so that's a downside to the dress. (Maybe I should have gone up a size? safe pinned it for more support?) Also, you can change where the tie on the top in, whether on the side or at the back. In terms of fit, the dress could have been longer (see pics), but it was probably long enough. I could have worn the 4 or the 6, but opted with the 4 because the 6 had more fabric in the top/bust. There was really little different in the waist between the two sizes. This is really a gorgeous dress!

I didn't realize when I ordered it that there would be two splits down the side but I love it! The fit was true to size and I will defiantly recommend it/rent it again!

I had eyed this dress for awhile but actually opted to rent a different dress for the wedding I was attending. Unfortunately two days before the wedding RTR called me and said the dress was not available!! I was a little stressed but RTR was so helpful and let me pick any dress they had as a replacement. I went with this gorgeous dress and I could not have been happier!!! They only had a 2R and had none of my back up sizes - the 2R fit but as I'm 5'7" I could only wear flats with it because the dress does run on the shorter size. I will never know but I would say a 4L might have been the ideal size for me. I paired it with a turquoise necklace from RTR that looked amazing! LOVE LOVE this dress!

I have a big chest & wore with no problem. I ordered the 6 as my backup & liked the smaller size, as the bottom is flowy & it looks best if the ribbon belt is a bit tighter. This is a fun dress, especially if you plan to dance the night away. I loved the necklace recommendation with it as well!

It was so comfortable and really cute! I took it from day to night just by adding some makeup, accessories and a pair of cute heels.

This dress was just that - Sexy, but completely appropriate for the outdoor spring wedding I planned. I received TONS of compliments on this dress. The slits in the skirt portion flow beautifully when I walked and are an excellent compliment to a summer breeze. The built in shorts unbutton easily (so make sure your with someone who doesn't mind rebuttoning them for you). Although the neckline is great by itself, I paired it with an oversized green stone necklace. The gold tones were much more apparent in person than in the picture. I typically wear a 4. The only size in Long they had left was a 2. So I sucked it up and dropped a few pounds before the event. I felt amazing in this dress!

Wore this amazing dress to my girlfriend's wedding in Napa during Mother's Day weekend. Fit perfectly and had enough room to eat and drink! The slip underneath helped with and updraft from the breeze and because of the heat didn't even have to wear a bra ;) also loved how the bow can be adjusted to fit and be worn on the side/back. Simple gold cuffs and black shoes to accent the black sash and viola!! Got tons of compliments. Wish I owned this dress...first time renting and will definitely do it again!!!

I wore this dress for a night out in NYC for a show with my husband. Surprisingly, I received lots of compliments! It definitely stood out from the other ensembles. I loved it! I'm a 36D and the top was still a little big on the sides.

I wore this dress for my brother's daytime graduation party. Since it was a pool party, I dressed it down with flip flops and casual jewelry, but this is a very versatile dress that can be worn in a variety of occasions. The panels are sheer from the waist down (peach colored slip underneath to the mid-thigh), which is very unique and fun. My only gripe is that I ordered my main size as an 8R and would have preferred to wear that size, however, the sash on top was not threaded through the neckline and I didn't have the time to worry about installing it, so I just wore the larger size for ease of wear.

I rented this dress for an awards reception. I usually stick with sheath dresses or more fitted looks, but wanted to try something different. I am so glad I did! The fit was fabulous and I received tons of compliments all evening long. Like others have said though...be prepared to show those legs when you walk because the slits on each side will flow away showing a lot of skin. I wore this summer to a summer wedding in Bermuda. I thought it was the perfect dress for the occasion; its very "beachy" casual, yet elegant at the same time. It was a very windy day, and the side slits blowing in the wind actually worked out well to show off a little bronzed leg! There are really cute pink silk bloomers built into the dress, so it wasn't a problem at all. The gold lurex threaded in is a great touch. I wore it with turquoise earrings, as I was inspired by the blue necklace on the model. Easy to dance in too was a plus!

This dress is gorgeous & unique. Wore a 0 (normally 0 or 2). Don't need a bra if you are small chested. High slit, but shorts under are perfect!

The only issue with this dress is the silk underlay that has 3 buttons right in the private area. Every time i sat down the buttons popped open! It also takes forever trying to button them on your own in the ladies room. Thank God I had friends there to help me out. Other than that the dress is beautiful! Received lots of compliments!

I am between an 8 and 10--because of my big belly apple shape. The cut of this dress was great for that, although beware of the waist/sash--it's fitted and has no give. But it falls above the natural waist, empire-style which makes it good for hiding bellies. It was very nice for the event, kind of magical and shimmery feeling, long and elegant. The shorts underneath were tough to snap--felt like I had to be a contortionist :-) And they didn't stay snapped the whole time. I perhaps would recommend wearing blush or skin-colored tap pants of your own underneath. It was very comfortable, could fit a range of bust sizes (not *super* big though, because it doesn't stretch, but it is loosely draped on top), and comfortable to dance in and eat in. I really liked it. Also I'm 5'2 so if you are tall it might be too short for you. My heels were only about 3" and it was just right for me.

I rented the 10L and went barefoot for this beach wedding. I am 5'7" and the dress was floor length, but not too long. So if I had worn heels, it definitely would have been too short. The style of the dress is gorgeous and flowy, the side slits add sex appeal, but the shorts underneath keep you from a wardrobe malfunction. I am full busted, and there was plenty of room in the dress. It does come down low on the sides, so my strapless bra was visible on the side when I lifted my arms. Now, for the condition of the dress... it was missing the hook above the zipper, the zipper itself is on its last legs, and the (non-removeable) belt is frayed. This is not noticeable unless you look closely, but just a heads up. All in all, the perfect dress for the event, I looked exactly how I wanted to!

this dress was absolutely stunning - perfect for destination wedding. 0R was too short for me, so i had to wear with flats. otherwise fit well, could have gone with a 2L also. you could tell the dress had been worn quite a few times - the gold thread were a little frayed in some spots, and the shorts part of the lining were no connected at the crotch, which was fine. that's the only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars. loved the dress and got tons of compliments!

I rented this for a wedding. the customer service was great about sending this to me on a Saturday at my hotel after my original dress didn't fit. Im either a 2 or 4 but the only size available was the 2R. It zipped but was a tiny bit tight where the black band was- there is no stretch there. I didn't end up wearing it bc it was a little too lightweight for the occasion, but I would definitly rent it again for a summer wedding Pros- makes smaller chested girls look busty. the size Regular is great for shorter girls. I had a pair of 3 inch heels and I couldnt believe it but though the dress was a little too short for heels that high. I NEVER have that problem. The great thing about this dress though is that it would look great with a pair of gold gladiator flats. If you are over 5'4 I would get the long if you plan on wearing heels Cons- the dress looked worn. Since the material is thin the gold threading was all over and sticking out. I wouldnt care for one night but the fact that this dress is so $ retail is crazy. the slits that are mentioned are high- I tried to show how see through the skirt was in my pic too so people are aware. Its too bad that its like snap bottom shorts and not just a mini skirt underneath. The shorts under are silky and looked really worn. Overall though it was pretty and very different.

I received lots of compliments on this dress. It fit great, and was beautiful. The only complaints that I have are I wish that I would have ordered a 6L, as my dress was a little short for my height since I was wearing 3 inch heals. Also the attached black belt needed to be pressed, and there were little lurex threads hanging off the dress like it had been worn quite a few times. Other than that, it was great. It was light, flowy and sexy. Great dress for a palm springs wedding. Overall happy with my choice.
