I wore this dress for a gala event and got lots of compliments. It was very comfortable, and was stylish and elegant without being too formal.

I wore this dress for my tea party bridal shower. The look was very fun and fashionable. The color combination is really interesting in person. The pink stitching across the bust is a great touch. The fabric is a mixture of a lovely silk on top and breathable cotton on the bottom. However, there's no stretch in the fabric. So, ladies may want to consider sizing up for back up, especially those with a little junk in the trunk like myself. I highly recommend this to hourglass figures since the waist is very cinched with little wiggle room.

I wore this to my first anniversary dinner at a posh rural Virginia inn. I read the fabric had no stretch (it doesn't), so I ordered the 4 and the 6. While the 6 did give my hips a little more room, it also left the top too billowy and the hips just a little too poofy around the pockets. I wore the 4, which fit neatly around the waist (take note if you're a little thicker in that area), and pinned down the pockets to avoid drawing extra attention to my hips. It's a grown-up dress, and I'm not sure I could picture it on a teen or college girl (I wore this as a 29-year-old). It would be great for a work event, day-to-night, or any dressy occasion where you also need to look somewhat conservative.

This is a beautiful dress, somewhat less formal than it appears in the picture. I actually wore it to work with a cardigan and then went to dinner with my husband. The skirt is cotton (or something similar), without the sateen shine of the top, so dressing it down is easy. The purple seam across the bust adds just a little visual interest, though a long necklace also helps. And while I do usually wear a 0, this dress is only available in a 2, and fit quite well.

This dress was perfect for my body type. I'm pretty curvy, and I felt the cut of the dress was very flattering. The top was fitted and the skirt looks as if it's supposed to be fitted but there was still enough room to move around comfortably. I also received alot of compliments on the dress, and it was dressy enough for the pre-wedding party I attended.

I love the dress EXCEPT for this very strange stitching a cross the top.. It was in a weird location and did not look good but the necklace covered most of it. I wouldnt rent this dress again

I rented this as my first option for a wedding, but it ran pretty small on the bust (I'm a 34D) so I went with my second choice dress instead! I would recommend this for pear shapes/athletic fit for sure, beautiful dress but it wasn't for me!

rented this dress for my rehersal dinner after my original choice was not available. The over all fit and quality were great (with the exception of being a bit large in the arm hole). But I did not look at the picture closely enough as it was a last minute decision - there is a light purple thread that runs basically from nipple to nipple across the black satin. It was just not a style I was willing to wear to my dress rehersal
